Quaint place a bit outside of town with free parking spaces and bus stop nearby Comfortable beds and nice common areas with plenty of infos about what to do on the island. The tasty breakfast makes for a great start into the day!

It's a lovely place and the family who run the hostel go above and beyond to make it a great experience. Thanks so much to them. The only negative is the location, and a few more buses running nearby would help but it's fine for people with transport or who like a walk uphill in the heat.

Small, owner-managed hostel on the edge of Saint-Pierre. Comfortable beds, large common room, equipped kitchen. It's a short walk or bus ride to the centre, but manageable. Of the 2 hostels in La Réunion, I would favour this one.

Ann the owner is amazing and so is th hostel. Great little touches make it a fabulous place to stay.

J’ai passé un agréable séjour à l’auberge Les Baroudeurs… L’établissement est propre, bien décoré et bien équipé (si l’on souhaite cuisiner). Anne-Laure fait preuve d’une bienveillance extraordinaire, toujours attentionnée et à l’écoute des personnes qu’elle accueille. Si vous cherchez une auberge à Saint-Pierre où vous serez bien accueillis et où vous pourrez vous faire un tas de copains pour mieux apprécier votre séjour… n’hésitez pas, foncez chez Les Baro...

One of the world's better hostels with kind and helpful staff

Quel bonheur de passer un moment ici !!! un gros + pour le petit dej fait maison et la disponibilité de notre hotesse..J ai grand hâte de revenir.

Anne Laure is a Top host, always friendly and helpful. The hostel is super cosy and clean. The premises allow for both community as well as some private time. Cant recommend it enough!!! This Hostel made my stay in Reunion Island remarkable. Thank you Anne Laure

Excellente expérience! Je recommande vivement cet établissement. Les lieux sont top, tout est mis à disposition pour que l’on se sente chez soi. Anne-Laure est super sympa, disponible et de très bon conseils. J’ai adoré!

Je devais rester 2 jours j’en suis restée 6 et je suis partie uniquement car je devais rentrer de vacances. Super auberge de jeunesse : cadre chaleureux, ambiance familiale, très bien placée. Anne-Laure est adorable, toujours aux petits soins de ses voyageurs! Je recommande +++

Max stars for a comfortable , clean and well run hostel. The owner is super nice and helpful + friendly. I would however give it 1/10 stars for location , especially considering public transport reliability was an issue during my stay , not sure if it’s always like that.

Absolutely amazing time staying here! As two English boys on the island Anna was most helpful with us recommending us for places to see and experience whilst here! The property is amazing and would love to visit again in the future
