Hostal Tequila

Lors de notre arrivée, il n’y avait personne dans l’hostel. Le gérant était injoignable par téléphone car il n’avait pas Whatsapp. Tout était éteint et personne n’était présent alors que l’accueil était censé pouvoir se faire jusqu’à 23h). Nous avons dû prendre un autre hôtel pour pouvoir dormir. Je ne recommande pas du tout. Grâce au service HostelWorld, j’ai pu être remboursé de l’avance payé.

I have been travelling for 6months back packing through South / Central America. This is the worst yet. no bins or mirrors in the bathroom or bedrooms . no fitted sheets on the beds, just a sheet, that's it. The security is poor with the front door glass smashed. When I arrived, the bathroom stunk of urine, the toilet had not been flushed in who knows how long. The showers are disgusting with mould. The wifi didn't work in the dormitory I stayed in. There is no reception, no staff, no cleaners.

I had a great stay and have nothing to complain about! This is the first hostel in Tequila. The owner, Alberto, is a really kind and dedicated host who always strives to give his guests the best experience. I stayed during the week and had the whole place to myself, but from Thursday to Sunday, it tends to be livelier. The location is definitely a 10 out of 10!
