Was pretty bad! No curtains on the bunk beds, Switches didn’t work at all. They have a dorm just beside their kitchen , there’s a lot of noise. We booked for 2 days but left after 1 day and booked some other place.

Really nice spot in Dharamkot, met some lovely people here and the staff were very welcoming and helpful! The dorms were comfortable and clean and the balcony is a nice place to chill. I’ll definitely come back again :)

You are coming to the serene side of Dharamshala. Value for money, friendly staff, and an opportunity to meet some really cool and like-minded people. Ideal for solo travellers!

Great hostel in Dharamkot, a little hike from the shops and restaurants. Staff, mainly Aman, was super helpful at all times, and they even allow you to open a tab for food. Booked a private room which was sort of expensive, but the facilities really live up to it. Great place to stay before heading into Tushita Meditation Center for a course. No luggage lockers, but I feel you don't really need that here anyway - good vibes!

We loved staying at Young Monk sooo much we even extended our stay. Although the room feels somewhat overpriced for quite a standard room, the location is stunning, the view from the balcony is gorgeous, the hospitality and warmth from DJ and all the other staff was immense, all of which more than make up for the price. The food was delicious in the cafe and we just felt so relaxed staying here. Highly recommend !!

Das Hostel ist tagsüber sehr schön und die Besitzer sind sehr hilfreich. Es gibt einen netten Gemeinschaftsbereich und eine schöne Terasse. Abends ist es super kalt geworden, da alle Türen offen stehen, somit können jederzeit Fremde ins Hostel laufen. Die Rezeption ist grundsätzlich nicht besetzt. Zudem hatten wir mehrere Spinnen und eine Raupe im Zimmer (diese beseitigt das Team auf Nachfrage aber gern).

The hostel was lovely! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting with in-room service & even fetching food for me. The rooms, bathrooms, & entire property were spotlessly clean. Highly recommend staying here!

I had a wonderful stay at the hostel. The property is well maintained, the vibe is relaxed, and although the food menu is limited, everything I tried tasted great.

Perfect location for nearby hikes, easy to get to Bhagsu for everything you could need, beautiful views. Anu made it a great experience. I liked it enough to stay twice!

Loved my stay here! Anu was super helpful and had some great suggestions for things to do in the area and was awesome to hang out with! Facilities were clean and the view is incredible. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful stay.

we stayed here for a few days before and after hiking Triund and were given lots of advice as well as having a lovely time hanging out with the staff, especially Ani, who made us feel very very welcome:))

I really enjoyed the stay. Especially the first night, because there was an mistake with my booking for the dorm so I get the privat room for the dorm price. Best privat room (own balco with amazing view) I ever had:) then I stayed two nights in a dorm. Totally fine and clean everything. The whole Hostel looks still really new and friendly (a lot of wood,plants and love for details:) Especially for hiking people really good destination and starting point for hiking:) Staff is cool too:) thanks

I was travelling solo for the first time in mountains. Young monk was like a home away from home. The staff treated me like family. Its a must stay place whenever one visits Dharamkot.

I had a great stay at this hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you need. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with recommendations or any questions I had. The location was perfect, a bit outside the chaos, providing a peaceful atmosphere, yet still close to all the main attractions and the market. The common areas were lively, and I enjoyed meeting fellow travelers. Overall, a fantastic place to stay for the price

Meine Zeit im Young Monk Hostel war wirklich toll! Die Dorms haben sehr gemütliche Betten und auch die Privatzimmer sind sehr schön mit einer tollen Aussicht! Alles ist sehr sauber und auch das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Vor allem Skand war immer da um mir zu helfen und es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Ich war hier einige Zeit und es hat sich wie Zuhause angefühlt! Ich freue mich schon darauf wieder hierher zurück zu kommen :)

Excellent value with very spacious rooms. The bed was very comfortable. Great location, we could see the stars from our balcony at night. Very friendly staff. One minor thing to be aware of is the extra charges for things such as fresh towels if needed.

A really nice hostel. Staff helpful with booking my taxi. Met some nice people here. Great location to cute cafes etc. A pretty view from the cafe balcony.
