Not convenient！

Bad smell in the door room and lost toilet property by staff

J'ai été déçue par mon expérience à GaiaHostel, les photos ne correspondent malheureusement pas à la réalité. Les soirées à thèmes décrites dans l'annonce sont une simple sortie dans les bars autour. L'espace extérieur est agancé en plusieurs petits terrains d'herbe avec du béton autour, des escaliers assez conséquent y emmènent. Les tables et chaises y sont minimes. Il fait assez chaud dans tout le bâtiment et une odeur d'humidité est constante. Le bruit sur la rue est ...

Bathroom very dirty. Bed uncomfortable

Great little hostel in a cute neighborhood. It was conveniently located near the river, which was a very lively environment, so we could just take a stroll down there when we had nothing to do. Me and my friend stayed here for four nights and, although we didn't spend much time in the hostel itself, the rooftop was the perfect place to go and wind down at the end of the day and admire the views :) the staff were very nice as well and helped us out with figuring out the bus system ha

pros: friendly hosts, good location, nice garden, rooms are clean. cons: the beds are extremely squeaky, uncomfortable, rooms are super small, the door handle was broken, there was no way to charge my phone in the room so I had to charge it in a common area, there was a gross black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the parts of the ceiling were falling apart. I can’t seem to understand the hype about this hostel. There are nicer hostels in Porto where the rooms are much more spacious,...

Overall, while the staff were nice and the location was pretty good and not too far from the town center, there were no charging plugs in the room, and the rooms were very hot. There is no where to put your shampoo or conditioner in the shower and you have to push the shower button for water every ~10 seconds. The terrace is nice. Don’t recommend for solo travelers as people were not that friendly at this hostel.

Bathroom was full of black mould and paint was flaking off in huge chunks from all the walls in the bathroom. Bunk beds had no privacy and all PowerPoints were in awkward spots under the beds. Rooftop was lovely and a refreshing spot. Shower head mount was broken so you couldn’t properly wash your hair etc. staff were lovely and apologetic when I had to wait an hour after one of the doors to my room was jammed. Nice staff, hostel with small bedrooms, clean, but too many stairs (be aware if you have locomotion problems)

Clean, secure and comfortable. The breakfast service was great! We especially enjoyed the garden areas hidden in the bluff alongside the hostel. The only issue was that we arrived on a Sunday and there was no one to let us in.

Quite nice to be located on quiet side of Porto facing town. Still close & less steep walk home. Agree pictures are out of date- not the lively social terrace vibe, more quiet couples in private rooms, just a few in dorms; terraces delapidated. Kitchen properly equipped & hostel has essentials. Outdoor washing line would be nice. Not suitable for people with fragrance chemical intolerance due to plug-in diffusers/reed stick use/fragranced linen & towels. Family live here with their 3 kids & dog.

Entrée dans l auberge par la cuisine. C’est convivial et donne le ton de cette auberge. Le personnel est chaleureux. Jolie chambre près d’une terrasse agréable en fin de journée.

Buena experiencia. El personal del hostel muy amable y siempre atento. Ubicación muy buena. Repetiría sin duda!

Absolutely amazing value and beautiful space. The location is right beside the boardwalk on the calmer side of the Douro. The owner was incredibly kind and hospitable. Breakfast buffet for 6 EUR with coffee and juice and a variety of pastries, as well as classic ham and cheese. I would stay here again!

A lovely place to stay, with lovely staff. Nice and quiet.

the location is ok, it's in Gaia, close to the metro and bridge. it's quiet, people are not parting there, and you can get a good sleep

Really friendly! Was there for every question / help. Clean, calm, a little bit to walk in the center, but absolutely ok.

Tolles Hostel. Super sauber und super nette Besitzer. Unglaublich leckeres Frühstück. Innerhalb 5 Minuten zu Fuß in der Stadt. Jederzeit gerne wieder 🤗

L'endroit est propre et bien situé a Gaia. En bas de la rue se trouve des restaurants qui ont une vue magnifique de Porto. les chambre individuelle sont magnifiques et ont un petit balcon partager avec une autre chambre. La terrasse est splendide, situé sur le toit. Le personnel est accueillant et présent pour vous aider. Nous avons apprécié le service de lavage, qui nous a permis de sauver du temps. Nous recommandons l'endroit sans hésiter
