very social hostel, amazing staff, and a very safe and nice neighborhood! only one shower with hot water, no fridge or microwave which is the only problem

My staying in Xenia House was great, the staff made me feel like home. Also, the location was super, looking at the city from the hostel gave me a wonderful view. I loved the chilled vibe of the common area! :)

Pros: good location, clean, safe l, helpful staff. Cons: have to pay for water, no free towels in private room, one bathroom/shower for 2 dorms and 2 privates, no atmosphere. my suggestion would be for the hostel to organise optional daily events or even games nights. good initiative having the whatsapp group but its very inactive, even just a games night or going to a bar or sunset spot would be a big improvement

Very cool property in the outskirts of the city. Also super social, the whole hostel became a group in no time. Faris is a wonderful host.

Such a nice spot! I felt right at home here, a great meeting point for travelers in a beautiful neighborhood.

Had a very good experience there!! Extremely nice and friendly staffs and guests! It instantly felt like home, or a friend trip although I was solo traveling One thing to be noted, there is only cold shower (no hot water) But you can boil some water and pour in a big bucket, so you don’t freeze while washing yourself:) 100% recommend, I wish I stayed longer! (Kigali is super safe and budget friendly, be flexible with your plan so you can extend your stay if you want!

My stay was exeptional, I loved the atmosphere it felt like one big family. The bathrooms are a bit dirty and the kitchen lacks a couple things but overall it's great!!

Thanks to the amazing staff, my brother and i didn’t have to go to prison! The hostel is very affordable and a nice place to meet other travelers. The only downside is that it’s located on top of a hill, quite far away from the centre. The beautiful view makes up for it though :) Highly recommended!!!

It was such a place on the top of the hill!! What a scenery!!!!! I stayed there for a week. Clean and tidy. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I supposed to stay for several days in the begging but it got longer by atmosphere there😂 Thank you so much of great feeling like a home. Hope to go back there again!!!
