Unfortunately our stay at Way Kap was not at all what we expected and not restful at all. The road outside was noisy at all hours of the day. With the windows having no glass in all you could hear was beeping at 2am with all the standstill taxis wanting you to Wak Kap! Then on our final day they had no hot water. Brenda was extremely rude to us when we kept asking how much longer it would be. They didn’t offer us compensation at all even though we had freezing cold showers to Way us Kap. Awful...
We stayed here for two nights as our other hostel overbooked us. The free breakfast was dismal, nothing was ever restocked and you would only get breakfast if you got up at 7am. There was no cutlery and the staff were not as helpful as other places we have stayed in Peru. However, it’s a nice looking hostel, linen and bathrooms were clean. No atmosphere whatsoever. Rooms were stuffy and hot considering the cool temp outside. Would not recommend to a friend.
Someone’s stuff was stolen out of her locker - with her lock broken open. The front door was locked and had to wait about 10 minutes for staff in the evening to come and open them door for us. As a solo travelling girl I did not feel entirely safe. The breakfast was also not good - and the yoga teacher they brought in was an absolute scam!

Was not what I expected. To start with the positive things: the location is great, next to the monastery, the beds are rather comfortable, and the interior and decoration cool. However, the hostel is open (no real roof and no windows) so it gets really cold, also in the rooms! Further, the rooms are all around the common space, so you can hear and smell everything going on outside (people talking, music playing all day, people smoking). Cleanliness was mediocre, bins in the toilets often ful...
En general bien en relación al precio. La limpieza de los baños se puede mejorar.No me gusto que me pidieron un pago adicional para emitir el comprobante de mi estancia, lo mismo pasa para pagos con tarjeta de crédito.
I don't like that I was asked for an extra fee to issue the proof of my estancia, the same goes for payments by credit card.
Nice hostel with a good location, breakfast wasn’t the best
Very unhelpful staff who purposefully made us wait until 2pm check in even though the beds were ready at 7am when we arrived. No tips on what to do in Arequipa, told us to use Google maps. The hostel itself was nice but staff so unfriendly ruined it
It could be a great hostel but the atmosphere is just a bit off. I stayed in the female dorm and it had no window, so it got very warm and smelly in the room. All the rooms, including the kitchen, only have windows and doors facing the covered courtyard. This means the smell of cooking lingers everywhere constantly. While the bathrooms are clean, the brown bed blankets were musty. It’s a shame because the hostel has great potential.
THE GOOD: Great feel to the place, lots of chilled digital nomads was nice and quiet for Me. Great working spaces. Good breakfast. Beds were spacious and clean. Lighting was low and didn't disturb too much. Location is very central to downtown and plaza. Not expensive. Bathrooms are so spacious and clean! THE NOT SO GOOD: No filtered water (have to buy bottles). Breakfast finishes at 9am which feels a bit early. worst thing is that they don't let you wash your clothes anywhere which is mean.

Emplacement très bien situé. J’ai demandé à ce que l’on me prépare un déjeuner pour emporter parce que je devais partir tôt le matin et il y avait un lunch préparé à mon nom le matin de mon départ.
I asked for a takeaway lunch to be prepared because I had to leave early in the morning and there was a lunch prepared in my name the morning of my departure.

Amazing place to stay !! Everything is cosy and chill ! Very well located, 5 min walk from the main square. Beds are very comfortable and everything feels new and is very clean ! The breakfast is very good with good choices.
A quiet and very clean place, breakfast is ok, coffee & tea all day. Very good location!

There is crappie music played in main room and a septic smell from drains in the area. Decent breakfast. Clean place other than the smell. Good showers. Good location. Dorm pods are what you'd expect. I'd stay again
das Konzept mit den holzverschlägen bei den Betten, was an die mikrohotels in Japan erinnert, finde ich super, da es deutlich mehr Privatsphäre bietet.
The concept of the wooden shelves at the beds, which was a micro-hotel in Japan, I think is great, as it offers significantly more privacy.
Great kitchen and rooftop, decent breakfast and very comfy beds. Bathrooms are also great.
Goed hostel, alles is heel netjes en mooi en op een toplocatie. Dingetje is alleen dat het nogal warm en benauwd was in de dorms.

Très bon hostel , propre , il y a toujours une personne pour répondre à nos besoins à la réception . Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Le petit Rooftop en haut est top et il y a beaucoup d’espaces communs pour être tranquille ou partager des moments
Very good hostel, clean, there is always a person to meet our needs at the reception. breakfast is very good. the small rooftop upstairs is top and there are many common areas to be quiet or share moments

gut gelegen, schöner innenhof & dachterrasse, die könnte aber mehr schatten vertragen. 2 dorms in denen ich geschlafen hab hatten weder fenster noch klimaanlage, das wird nachts stickig. Sonst sind die Betten sehr gemütlich.
2 dormitories in which I slept had no windows or air conditioning, this gets sticky at night. otherwise the beds are very comfortable.
Good hostel, quiet, clean and comfortable. Not very social, but great if you want a good sleep.
