Great location near the center and tram stop, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. Unfortunately, my reserved dorm with bunks for privacy was given away when I arrived late, and I was moved to a room I didn’t want (no lockers, only a tiny broken drawer). I was charged a higher rate for that room and lost my deposit, so 2 nights ended up costing almost as much as my original 6-night booking.

I got my stuff stolen from my backpack in the hostel (money, sunglasses etc.) while being inside the hostel - so if you go there be sure to take good care about your things otherwise nice hostel!

Quite expensive for the room. Room had no windows and a really tiny shower. It was quite noisy with other guests talking right outside room. Good locations and breakfast was okay.

not very sociable, we were moved to a private instead of a dorm which had no lockers and no lock on the thin sliding door. there was a gap in the wall which meant we could hear everything from the shared bathroom. the staff were extremely unhelpful. the breakfast was okay and the location was great but i didnt feel secure here and the quality of the place is not what it seems.

if you get a private its not soundproof at all. you can hear everything.

No working wifi Rarely hot water Staff are great and location is fine, but I can’t give a good review to a place that doesn’t have functioning wifi or water heating. Sorry

In the ‘superior’ double room, the door is a thin wood panel that exposes you to the noisy breakfast area. There’s also a hole in the wall to the shared bathroom, so you hear everything. The bathroom door lock was broken. We had a bus and requested breakfast at 8am (when it starts) but the staff arrived late and breakfast was really delayed so we had to leave. One staff member was unwell and dry heaving while preparing food. Otherwise staff were really friendly and breakfast was great.

Horrible WiFi. The worst network I’ve ever connected to in my life. Can’t check in to a flight, scroll through Instagram, etc. Extremely slow. They have several networks for the different rooms and each one manages to be very bad.

I would describe it as trying to be fancy but very rough around the edges. It was dirty; the bed frames covered in hairs, the linens stained (never changed in my 5 days there), pubic hair and dirt in the shower. The breakfast portions were tiny and if you have allergies they can't really provide sufficient other options. The lady in charge is friendly though and does try hard.

I rarely leave reviews on Hostelworld and I should leave more. But I really wanted to leave a positive one for Guillerminas. I had little expectation but it really delivers. Single bed for yourself. Lovely staff. Their free breakfast is the best free breakfast I’ve had in any hostel; eggs, bacon, fruit, granola, juice and coffee. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. Laundry at a fair price as well. It’s a sound hostel. For a cheap cost, I recommend it to travellers!

Heel fijn hostel! Er was niet elke dag evenveel sfeer maar de voorzieningevoorzieningen zijn in orde, het personeel heel vriendelijk en de locatie top!! Zeker een aanrader!

Amazingly hospitality, clean hostel, accommodating guest service, great breakfast, use of a clean kitchen, hot showers, clean bedding, pretty over all!

This was a nice stay in Cuenca. LOVVVEE the dorms. Not much of an atmosphere or social common areas. Very clean and great location.

Hostel très bien situé en centre ville. Personnel sympa et aidant en cas de questions. La cuisine était bien équipée et le petit déjeuner plutôt bon. Ma seule remarque serait de moderniser un peu les salles de bain/toilettes qui ne sont pas pratiques et vite trempés.

I stayed for nearly a week in the end because I kept extending. The beds were soo comfy. The breakfast was amazing. And even on my final day they made me breakfast early because I needed to catch an early bus 🥹 location incredible and they also did my laundry same day

Super friendly staff. Very clean hostel, probably the best hostel breakfast I ever had and super central in the city. Definitely a recommendation and would always come back when I’m in Cuenca!

Pretty okay place. There was a problem with the door when I was there that meant my door couldn’t lock properly. No real atmosphere to speak of.

Great hostel! Excellent location, really clean, friendly staff, good security, big lockers in the rooms, and an amazing breakfast included! The only downsides are there aren’t enough bathrooms and the showers are together with the toilets so in the morning you often have to wait a while to use a toilet and/or a shower. Also, the dorm room doesn’t have any hooks available to hang things like jackets or towels. Otherwise, an excellent hostel I would return to if I’m back in Cuenca again.

Very nice and clean place! Staff is nice, only thing: no early check in possible, only from 14:00 and onwards, and at 14:00 in my case there was no staff at 14:00 so i had to wait another 20 min to check in..

maravilhoso, café da manhã excelente, quartos limpos e sempre arrumados, serviço de lavanderia excelente, pessoal me ajudou guardando um café de uma amiga, sempre diapostos a ajudar. Inclusive as duas gurias da tarde, foram um amor comigo quando tive problemas em meus olhos devido a espuma do carnaval, me deram colirio, me permitiram ficar ali até ficar bem. Só tenho a agradecer e elogiar. Continuem esse belo trabalho...
