Personnel adorable et très aidant pour les activités, les transports et la vie du village. Très safe, l'emplacement est super car un peu en retrait du centre mais très proche à pied. La piscine est un plus pour se rafraichir. Les lits ne sont pas très confortables, les matelas très fins. Douches souvent bouchées ou très peu d'eau, eau semi-salée. Un peu cher pour l'hébergement proposé en dortoir.

It's ridiculously bad value for money - seems to be standard the region. Wish I'd skipped it and just done a day trip from San Salvador. The downstairs doesn't look welcoming and upstairs you can smell the sewage in the river next door really badly. There aren't enough bathrooms and the mattresses are very thin. There was no plug by my bed. The pool was covered up during my stay. The saving graces were the air con in the dorms, on also in the day, and the friendly vibe.

Matrasses are really bad, didn't sleep well and one room is way too small for 6 people (2x3)

Lovely lovely staff, but the hostel is a job site. It is dirty, cement dust everywhere and noise all day with workmen all around the hostel. This should have been advised before booking. Not worth the money- spend it elsewhere. Room also stunk so bad. Unfortunately does not look like the images posted at all.

Unfortunately pretty disappointed with our stay for the price we paid Cannucks - loud construction underway at the proper each day during our stay; little to no wifi available in the rooms; generally unclean throughout the hostel.

Don't recommend this hostel. There's not much going on and it looks chaotic when entering. Rooms were okay with decent AC but better go to a different place.

Staff were nice to us, but heard some stories about inappropriate behaviour towards other guests. Rooms were very small. AC was nice. Okay location and nice kitchen. Way to expensive for what it is.

Es gab keine Schließfächer, jeder konnte unbewacht das Hostel betreten. Die Badezimmer waren dreckig. In meinem Hostelraum gab es nur eine Mehrfachsteckdose, die nicht ausgereicht hat, dass alle ihre Geräte dort laden und man kann somit auch nicht am Bett laden. Der ganze Vibe eher weird. Einzig positiv kann die Aircon erwähnt werden. Ich bin froh nur eine Nacht da gewesen zu sein, kann es insgesamt nicht empfehlen.

Pros: good air conditioning in the bedrooms, good location, nice hammocks to lounge in. Cons: no free purified water (I had to buy it from the reception, what a joke) , kitchen was a little messy/dirty, pillow was very uncomfortable.

AC was great in the rooms. The whole place smelled quite a bit due to the stagnant water next door and the communal spaces were dark and uninviting.

L'hostel est très bien situé, le personnel est très gentil et prêt à vous aider. Il est situé à quelques minutes de distance de marche du centre, l'emplacement est vraiment super!

Nous avions d’abord réservé 4 nuits dans cet hostel puis nous avons fini par y rester 2 semaines. On s’est senties comme à la maison, avec les réceptionnistes qui étaient d’une gentillesse et d’une aide incroyable. Il nous manquent déjà !

Rooms were great, all had aircon going pretty much 24/7. Kitchen was good but small, bathrooms were really dirty all the time. Also was a clown/joker guy that would come into the hostel every other night was a bit uncomfortable to be around.

Prima voor 2 nachtjes. El Tunco is totaal de moeite niet. Maar hier heb je nog iets van een zwembad. Al is die maar 2x 2,5 meter, zodat je toch nog wat afkoelt.

Personnel au top, emplacement aussi et la piscine est très agréable. De plus les clim dans les chambres font du bien au vue de la chaleur dehors ! Très propre également. Les espaces communs sont agréables. Petit bémol de la qualité de l'eau mais c'est comme ça dans tout le village ... manque d'une petite fontaine à eau dans l'hostel ... À part ce détail, je recommande !

Very kind staff. The rooms are quite old though, and I didn’t like them. No social activity The common living area and the kitchen are very good, but it’s the first time I’ve had to buy my own drinking water—I was really surprised.

Basic accommodation, lacking even simple things like somewhere to dry clothes. Entrance felt dirty with bins

Only spent one night there but it was a great stay. The hostal is a little off the center of El Tunco but it only takes 5 minutes to get there. Guy at the reception was helpful with my shuttle reservation (knowing the company and when it would more likely be there).

Es war okay, alles ein bisschen dreckig, die Duschen spritzten in alle Richtungen ausser nach unten und keine Handwaschmöglichkeiten in manchen Wc‘s. Trinkwasser zur Verfügung was sehr toll war!

Good social hostel with good chill area. Quiet area and short walk from the beach.
