YHA Cambridge

The room is too hot and very noisy at night. My roommate and I we cannot sleep at all. So we feel really tortured. I need to move to different room because the facility is broken in the midnight which is pain in the ass because I was so tired when I comeback to Hostel and I still need to move my room.

Don’t go there in summer. Not possible to open the windows as needed. No good fens. To mich people in one room without AC.

This was honestly the most horrible place I’ve ever experienced. I had people waking me up in my sleep asking to use my toothpaste (they were told at reception when they checked in to ask someone in the room). The showers were disgusting and not kept up to date. The heat is unbearable There was one man who worked there possibly a manager (middle aged) who came into my room multiple times and then asked when I was leaving. It's ok, does the job but that's it. You won't have a life changing experience on here

Good accomodation, about 20min to the city center (by foot). They sell breakfast for a good price. :) You need to bring your own lock for the lockers.

Unclean, many narrow staircases, terribly uncomfortable beds, shower would change temperature the entire time you were in it, and the location wasn’t amazing but it was doable. Only good thing about this place was the lounge room and kitchen.

This hustel did not have a vibe of a lively Hustel plus the toilets were so small, one of them was broken,the showere didn't have any rack or place to hang your clothes. Overall, I would avoid using it again unless I have to .

I want to give a higher rating but I can't because I booked two bunk beds (for myself and partner) but when arrived was told I was only allocated one bed and this was due to an error by the hostel. Luckily a spare bed was available but if we hadn't been so lucky my partner wouldn't have had a bed for the night. Other than this the facilities are great and the hostel is very clean.

2/3 showers on my floor weren’t working properly. There was a bunch of school kids on a trip the were very very loud, stomping. And they set off the fire alarm. Not hostels fault but still wasn’t great. Very small washrooms. Lovely kitchen space. Not very social. I wish there was curtains on the beds

The staff were fantastic and the place was clean. The beds themselves are the problem. I've stayed in over 40 hostels, and these were the single most uncomfortable beds I've ever stayed in. My gf and I both woke up in incredible pain. Sleeping is the most basic necessity of a hostel--if that can't be achieved successfully, the rest is a non-starter. Boasting about an expensive renovation almost feels like an insult to injury, when the beds are terrible and the laundry facility is kind of a joke

Great for a brief stay the community kitchen was very nice and clean, close to train station which was great with lots of bags

I really want to express that the staff Peter was the most kind person I have ever met. He is always open to help and truly I believe that he loves his job. I really hope to see more of this kind of person in other hostels in other world. Thank you for the stay!

Very nice hostel, rooms and bathroom were clean and free from the weird smells I've encountered in other hostels. Only gripe is the beds were fully exposed with no curtain or anything around them, which did mean you got woken up by the hallway light if someone came in in the middle of the night.

Nice place

Hands down the best hostel I've stayed at in the UK. My dorm was spacious and clean, and the bunk bed comfortable. Locker space was generous (bring your own padlock), and the bedroom also had a handy mirror and sink, all clean. The shared toilet and showers were pleasant to use, the kitchen was pleasant, the lounge was alright although I preferred the bar/restaurant area. Considering how gross hostels can get, my stay at YHA Cambridge has be positively luxurious.

Great place to sleep for a night. Bed was comfortable. Quiet for the most part. Great location, 15-20 min walk into city center.

Very close to the train station but a bit of a walk from tje city centre. Spacious and clean rooms, great kitchen and leisure facilities. A towel would have been appreciated.

Was in a private room so cannot speak to what a dorm experience would be. Very quiet hostel, friendly staff, decent facilities.

My second time here. decent stay. will be staying again. clean, staff were nice. all doors locked so felt safe

Overall great stay. Showers were just really tiny. No where to put my things when showering. Other than that it was excellent!

Great place! Comfy bed, spacious room, good facilities and great shower. Only bummer was the laundry was £7 and the dryer didn’t work. 20 minute walk into town. Would recommend
