Journey Junction Hostel

We werden bij aankomt in een kamer (victoria) geplaats. Deze kamer zat onder de schimmel en lekkage. Het groeide uit de muur. De host wist hier vanaf en heeft ons, na klagen, naar een andere kamer gebracht. Een dag later werden hier twee andere gasten geplaatst. De douches waren warm, heel fijn. Echter was de badkamer niet schoon. Putje stroomde over en de wasbakken lagen vol met haren.

Gutes Hostel für 1-2 Nächte. Alles ist sehr sauber und das Personal freundlich. Leider wurde um 7:00 laute Musik gespielt, obwohl einige noch schliefen. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig.

Good for a night but not for longer. If you look for a social hostel, it’s not the right one for you. The common area is functional, not really cozy.

was an okay stay. the ceiling in the bathroom is completely moldy, and in some rooms there's a lot of mold too. the atmosphere didn't feel very cozy/welcoming. beds were comfortable, showers are new and warm too. very close to central bus station.

I mean, you get what you pay for. The hostel is very clean. It’s not a backpacker vibe though, because it’s located in an office building. I just think the owner needs to be more chill. He’s always anxious and stressed out. He can’t handle a question without having to panic. Hostel managers need to be chill in order to provide backpackers with a similar experience.

El dueño era muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte en cualquier cosa. El Hostel parece a medio terminar, pero está bien para pasar una o dos noches.

Walking Distance from the bus terminal, the beds are big and comfortable, neat and clean, they have dormitories of 4, where the room has space for beds and the storage almirah, the common area has board games and a television, the attendant was nice and helpful, overall great place

Proche de la station de bus à seulement 20 min de marche du lac , de bon restaurant autour . Lit confortable, sanitaire propre et bien entretenu, eau chaude ! Personnel très sympas Je recommande fortement

Für eine Nacht ok, aber winziges Zimmer ohne Fenster, und unsere Zimmertür konnte man nur schließen, wenn man abschloss. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle irgendwie seltsam, aber nicht unfreundlich.

Lovely hostel very very close to the bus station. Big nice common space with tv, chess, bar etc. showers were sooo nice and high pressure😆. Host was lovely and very helpful

The shower and bed are really amazing like everyone says! Staff were so helpful and kind with anything that I needed. I stayed 3 nights just to rest and this was the perfect place to do it. I cannot recommend enough.

I stayed for one night passing through to Colombo from Ella. This was one of the most comfortable beds with a thick comforter! I had a great night sleep! Also the staff was so friendly, clean rooms and bathrooms, and huge lockers for all your things. Also the property was very secure and I felt safe. I also lost my cosmetics bag and the staff was helpful to search for it (even though we never found it). All in all, perfect for my one night stay!

The hostel was great! The beds are comfortable and the showers are the best ones I have had in Asia so far (even better than my shower at home). It is centrally located, which is very convenient. The hostel is not very social, but either way a perfect place to spend your time in Nuwara Eliyah!

mancano le tende per mantenere una maggior privacy e una mensola dove appoggiare il telefono. non c'è il servizio di lavanderia. bagni pulti e letti comodi.

Beds are so comfy like best sleep I’ve had in Sri Lanka and showers are so clean and actually hot. The hostel was full but there wasn’t exactly like a communal vibe. The staff were very friendly and sweet and helped us arrange transport. Right in the middle of town so like easy access to places. Only thing to note is if you are in the room next to the bathroom it is crazy loud when someone showers but with good ear plugs you will be fine🙏🏼

Perfect location, right in the centre and really close to the bus station. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and even put the Manchester United game on for me. It is very clean with incredible showers and really comfy beds. I even had a whole dorm to myself the first night. Only downside is it is quite quiet but I think that it will only get busier and more social as it is a new hostel.

I really liked this hostel. The beds are super nice and comfortable. No curtains though. The bathrooms are really clean. Staff was sooo nice and helpful. Really recommend!

I had such a great stay here, the location was perfect- very close to all the main sights within Nuwara Eliya. The staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating, answering any questions I had about the surrounding area and my further travels. The beds were comfy and the shower was one of the best I’ve had here in Sri Lanka. There’s also an area in front of the rooms to socialise. Would definitely recommend!!

Hands down best hostel I’ve stayed ! The recreational area is so cozy with lot of board games ! And loved the vibe over all ! All staffs were very kind ! Property is at a good location at city center ! Worth the money ! Best shower they have For a backpackers hostel!

La meilleure douche, et de loin depuis le début de mon voyage !! Incroyable L’hostellerie est petit et pas incroyable niveau confort mais franchement ça va. Très bien placés juste à côté de l’arrêt de bus et de tous les petits commerces!

Fabulous hostel, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Sri Lanka :-)
