Bunk Brisbane

Very dirty place. Seen coachroaches in the room. Disgusting toilet and shower. Even the ones in reception which you think would be easier to maintain were vile. Would not reccommend here at all. Do not book

I had the private room, which was quite expensive. I wouldn’t go there anymore. No cleaning for three days.

I was freezing cold all night because of the air conditioning, and you can not change the temperature.

Every thing needs to be improved

Room was cold, dark, damp, mouldy and smelt revolting

Room was infested with cockroaches tried to ignore it till they were crawling along my bed. Went down to reception to complain, was advised I had to pay to be moved rooms, I refused. Finally got moved to a new room but checked out a day early the following morning as I didn’t feel comfortable or clean sleeping there after seeing cockroaches crawling along the beds. Explained to the lady at the front desk I was checking out early due to this there was no response or acknowledgement. Money waste...

The bathrooms in the room are so loud in the rest of the bedroom that it wakes you up in the night. The kitchen is huge with all the facilities however the fridges/cupboards are rammed full and it states they get organised every Tuesday however we saw peoples name tags that were from 2 months ago so the smell was BAD. Reception staff 10/10 great however some cleaners were rude, kitchen closes 2-3pm at 1:50pm they closed it off and we asked to get cutlery and a plate which they said no.

very meh place, staff manage to wake you up every morning at 10am by banging your bed sweeping under it, opening curtains when everyone is asleep, reception did not explain any check out procedures and was threatened with a fine because i didnt bring a pillow case down?, nowehere to cook or eat, shower was dirty, beds were dirty, rooms had safes but they didnt work, the whole hostel has 10 chairs to sit in. only positives to take from this place was the rooftop bar discounts next door

Dreckiges Bad, auch nach der "Reinigung" sind die selben Haare in der Dusche und auf dem Boden. Keine heiße Dusche möglich, das Wasser wird kaum lauwarm und tröpfelt dann nur noch. Sehr laut, selbst im 5. Stock ist der Straßenlärm deutlich zu hören. Mitarbeiter machen nur das nötigste. Das vielleicht schlechteste Hostel in dem ich je war.

Brilliant hostel. Clean, rooms aren't crowded, kitchen is well-equipped, staff are helpful, it's got a nice pool and social space, and they have free surfboard rental, shuttle bus around town, social events, and breakfast. They've really thought of everything!

Good Location. Close to Airport

Very loud, was woken up every hour from sirens and cars outside so maybe soundproofing is needed. Apart from that the hostel had what you needed, a lift which is always appreciated and the layout of the beds made it feel private

Decent enough hostel, only stayed one night so didn’t perhaps get a full view of what it’s like. But staff were polite, location was well connected and easy to reach, and facilities seemed pretty clean and well maintained.

Nice hostel much a better BUNK than in gold coast. Not much of social vibe maybe not for solo travellers but everyone was nice enough :)

Okay zum bleiben für wenige Nächte, die Aufenthaltsräume sind eher klein und nicht so gemütlich wie man es von andern Hostels kennt.

The hostel is in a nice location and the deals you get for food just staying there are very nice. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean; the only flaw is that the kitchen was not very equipped and not that clean, the bathrooms in the common area should be deep cleaned (there's a whole new ecosystem living there). Over all a good hostel

Rooms were very nice, however one bathroom for ten people without any extra facilities on the floor should be considered a crime. Kitchen was well equipped and the location of the hostel was very good. Unfortunately, the bar isn‘t open on mondays and tuesdays and there are no events on these days either, so it‘s not very social….

Good place to stay in Brisbane, centrally located and plenty of stuff going on at the bar

I don’t think I’ve ever met such nice staff as the ones that welcomed me and checked me in. Everything was perfect!

Only stayed one night but the hostel was very nice and clean and had great amenities.

Had such a nice stay in Bunk hostel! The vibe is fun, social and the bar/ pool area is a good opportunity to meet other travellers. The rooms were clean, spacious and every bed had a light. The kitchen is big, clean and lots of space to cook. The location is perfect with lots of bars, restaurants and clubs around. A short walk right into the city. One of the best and cleanest hostels I have stayed in so far!

Prima hostel voor een kort verblijf. Keuken was echter vrij chaotisch en rommelig. Er was niet echt een common area, mensen waren ook niet echt sociaal. Veel in de eigen wereld of aan het slapen. Personeel was vriendelijk, kamer was ruim. Bed lag prima.
