if you want to sleep I don't recommend, music until 5 am. no kitchen, the room and bathroom were dirty. the people from the reception are nice tho
Right next to a noisy bar that does not stop playing music till 3am even though no one was there. Also, I arrived on time and was told to wait 2 hours for check in. Only towel provided was a bathmat. Would not recommend.
Le cranberry est avant tout un pub. L'emplacement est idéal dans la ville toutefois il faut savoir que la réalité est différente de ce qui est écrit sur le site. Dans le dortoir, il n'y pas : de bouilloire, de lampe de chevet, de rideaux pour chaque lit, de lampe individuelle, de lumière de jour, de clé pour la porte de la chambre et de placard. De plus, il n'y a pas de cuisine et de cuisinière. Par contre, il y a de la musique jusqu'à 2h du matin. Le prix est un peu élevé.
- IMPOSSIBLE DE DORMIR AVANT 5h du matin !! La fete dans le pub de l'auberge ne s'arrete jamais
- Noise levels are through the roof! Music is blasting from the bar between 2 in the afternoon and 3-4 in the morning! Forget about sleep, there is no noise isolation, it feels like you are at the bar. In my bedroom I felt like I could go deaf. This is a pub first, and a hostel second, the owners/managers seems to have forgotten that the reason people book a room is usually to have somewhere to sleep, otherwise I would have booked just a storage to put my bag in. When I asked to change to a quieter room, they simply said 'no quiet room' - and they are right. In all the rooms apparently it is just as noisy. Unless you can go with 2 hrs sleep a day, between 5am and 7am, don't book. At 8am the sun was shining in my room and waking me up because there are also no curtains on the window. Very poor experience. Also it wasn't very clean.
+ I didn't end up staying here in the end as they had a power cut most of the evening, so I ended up moving to a hostel
- The boss completely ignored me when I arrived, he was very busy setting up his new year's bar and didn't even make I contact or offer to check me in even though i was obviously a backpacker waiting. I had to ask after a few minutes to actually get attended to. The hostel didn't really have any public space (just a very tiny dorm which has standing room and a triple bunk, and then a bar downstairs). I didn't feel. comfortable so I moved to a hotel the same evening. There was a power cut (not the hostels fault) all evening, and so I could sit in the darkness in the room or the darkness of the bar
It was very noisy with loud music until 3am. The stairs were steep with no hand rail. Very basic. Black plastic bags in corridor with linen etc. No hot water on first day and water would go into bedroom if you weren’t careful.

+ The location was really great right in the centre of bodrum 5 minute walk from where I got off the boat and a Turkish tea shop opposite to try traditional Turkish tea and manu at the shop and the women working at the hostel kitty and Maria made me feel really welcome and where exceptionally friendly with great vibes also with the bar and evening party to enjoy without going out to far
- It didn’t look great but only open 3 months so I stayed in the making and it will improve

+ Location is great. Beds are ok. Let me check out very late which was nice.

The best advantage of the hostel is its location, however there are few problems: the sound insulation is almost non-existent and you can't sleep before the bar closes at 2am, the shower is not protected at all and the bathroom quickly turns into a swimming pool, and there is no locker, no kitchen, and no common area. Special mention for the guy at the reception who was still nice and for the bath towel lent free of charge. In conclusion, it's the bare minimum to spend the night.
+ The staff were nice. Good coffee at breakfast. The enabled me to watch a Newcastle united match
- It was very very noisy from other bars till 3ish am. The dormitory accomodation was a bit too expensive considering there was no communal kitchen or meeting place other than the bar
+ Nihat was very welcoming on arrival and showed excellent customer service. Staff were friendly and engaged socially. The location is perfect and makes it easy to get around the old town. Cleanliness was within a good standard as expected and the bar is a bonus.
- Although the property had only been opened in the summer, some maintenance is needed to freshen up the place. I was aware of the location near other bars and expected loud noise at night but I recommend taking earplugs (I use Loops) to manage sleeping well as music goes on until around 3am. I managed to sleep through the noise with my Loop earplugs. Breakfast was also basic, I thought there would at least have been a couple of choices for guests
