Chillout hostel

I had a very bad experience with this hostel, most of the reviews must be fake. As a solo female traveller first time in Jaipur it ruined my trip for me. Felt uneasy and left as soon as I could the next day. The guy seemed to have no idea of my booking even though he arranged an airport pick up, I arrived late at night and there was no pillow for my bed, the guy smelt like alcohol and I had to wake him up at reception to check me in.

False advertising.. there is no restaurant! My booking supposedly had breakfast included, but nobody was there in the morning and there was no breakfast! Nobody here speaks English, and there was nobody at reception when I went to check out. The water stopped working in the morning, so I couldn’t brush my teeth. Also, the booking says there is a filtered water dispenser, but there isn’t. If you come here, don’t expect to eat anything! Nobody speaks English and they wont be able to help you...

I do not recommend it. It is not a good place to stay, I believe there are better places.

Eigentlich ein schönes Hostel. Jedoch konnte kaum jemand ein Wort Englisch vor Ort. Die Gastgeber konsumierten Drogen und waren bis in die Nacht laut, was uns ein ungutes Gefühl gab. Das Restaurand hatte geschlossen. Es gab zwar Frühstück, das war jedoch unterdurchschnittlich. Eventuell hatten wir Pech und der eigentliche Gastgeber war zu der Zeit nicht vor Ort, da auch jeden Tag jemand anderes vor Ort die Verantwortung hatte. Naja, war für uns nicht so toll und kann ich daher nicht empfeh...

We (couple) stayed with chill out for 3 nights. The owner was great to chat with in the mornings(he speaks good english). the buffet breakfast which was included in our fee was delicious. Location was good for walking into pink city. The rooms were very basic but clean. Bed was firm but we slept well. Roof top patio was a nice place to unwind after the time on chaotic streets. We are happy

Great stay

Really nice people working there- helped my book everything and had good recommendations. Really looked out for me and made sure everything was okay / asked how I was soon and tried to get to know me. There’s a rooftop bar which is nice but the place was a little quiet so not that many people to meet and chill with in the evenings.

Absolutely would stay here again! The staff were so lovely and so great to chat to. They gave us some recommendations and they were easily some of our favourite spots on the city. The rooftop is amazing with great views of the city and Nahargarh fort. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Overall so so happy with our stay here and again would recommend to anyone

We had a really great stay here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the cafe served delicious food for breakfast and dinner, and the Pink City is easily walkable from the hostel - or else you can get a bus from the main road nearby (we didn’t take this since we walked, but it’s around 20 rupees). On our last morning the owner made us some ayurvedic tea, brewed fresh using plants grown on the rooftop. We highly recommend asking about it, it was lovely!

Lovely hostel. The first one i stayed in where the rooms looked like the actual photos. They had a nice rooftop and organised events. Very clean and they organised a nice tour around thr city in a tuktuk with one of their staff members. This was the best hostel we stayed at in India!

Had a great stay at Chillout. The hostel is near all major attractions, which made exploring very easy. The rooftop is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The room was spacious and clean, and the entire property is very well maintained. The owner is very helpful and welcoming. The price is also very reasonable, you can’t expect better at this price. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great vibe, good food and a really welcoming atmosphere. The owner is always around and happy to help. The rooftop is beautiful, perfect to chill. Everything was clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

Chillout made my Jaipur experience even better. Chillout was one of the best experiences of my travels. Ajeet made it very easy for me to feel comfortable. He and the whole team take great care of their guests, providing delicious food (buffet for breakfast) and creating a lovely space to relax and have deep conversations. The rooftop is magical, and you can enjoy Jaipur from a different, peaceful perspective. The location of the hostel is excellent and well connected to many attractions.

I stayed there for a week and would definitely come back. My dorm room was nice, with only 4 beds, and there’s a huge rooftop where you can chill, relax, and chat with other guests. I also joined their sunrise and sunset tours and really liked them. Also, the area isn’t too crowded or noisy, even though it’s very close to the main attractions. Thank you for your kindness!

We had a lovely stay at Chillout. The staff are very kind, attentive and helpful. The rooms are really nice. The restaurant has really tasty food and it’s in a great place for exploring Jaisalmer. They also arranged a brilliant camel safari for us.

The place is was great. The staff great and the toktok/taxi services great too. The driver speak ingles and Spanish and took us all over the city great guy

Absolutely loved the ambience. The architectural details lent the hostel an air of grandeur. Thoughtful artistry made guests feel welcome. The location couldn’t be better for visiting old town Udaipur and immersing yourself in the cultural and spiritual life of Rajahstan. Vanshika, the receptionist is an absolute jewel, thoughtful and kind. The manager too was very accommodating. I had a single ensuite room, which suited me just fine. They were generous with room amenities. Good wifi.

The hostel Is in the centre but still quiet, the rooms have everything you Need and the vibe Is great!

The stuff is super friendly and welcoming, its a great clean Hostel, with rooftop terrace and restaurant and also a kitchen you can use:) i really enjoyed the stay there!

The best stay at the hostel, ajit our host was brilliant and so helpful throughout. In a great location and a lovely space inside the hostel as well!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here and felt right at home, making good use of the rooftop area. The food there was delicious and excellent value. Possibly we were a bit late in the season to benefit from a sociable atmosphere, and some of the activities didn’t seem to be running (e.g. the daily yoga) which was a bit disappointing but overall we still had a great stay and the staff were very warm and friendly. Bathroom cleanliness could be improved and the addition of dorm room lockers is essential.
