Amsterdam Hostel Leidseplein

I have a huge reservation about bunk beds. They are very small and then you get very huge pillows. If you are tell like me forget about fitting into those beds. You feel claustrophobic and feel like being in a grave. Further, there is no fan or air conditioning in the room, and is very hot a humid inside. It is also not cheap though,I paid like 63 euros a night for a bed. I am never gonna stay there again, and also recommend you to find something else a cheaper and a better place to stay.

Mixed room. First night everything was fine, just a few screams during the night. The second day, a group of bad people started making their way through my room. They broke into my personal locker, which was locked with a padlock, and stole the contents. I followed the hostel's rules, but the stolen items are now gone. The only thing they did was change rooms. It wasn't nice to sleep with people like that in the same room. Better to stay in a hostel outside the city center with more relaxed peop

L’ostello era in centro quindi posizione buona, ma la pulizia era a dir poco imbarazzante. La puzza di piedi nella stanza con un riscaldamento a 28 gradi non aiutava di certo il sonno. Super caro per ciò che è. Un bagno per tutte quelle persone è imbarazzante. La mattina ci abbiamo messo 2 ore prima che tutti facessero la doccia. Lo staff era friendly.

If you want a cheap stay in Amsterdam it will do but would not recommend the rooms are dirty, the receptionist made us wait 30 minutes to check in as he wanted to finish his shift and when we walked in 3 men were smoking weed in reception as a result we left 1 night early as we did not feel safe and did not enjoy our stay here

for one night is fine, for more not really comfy. The kind of people in general there, weren't the best. my mom got a lot of spider bites and skin reaction. The toilet smell good and my bed was okay, my mom's not.

Bad and expensive

The worst hostel I have stayed. One toilet for 14 people, beds arenso small. Everywhere is so dirty. Never again!

El peor hostal en el que he estado Está en una calle de bares, súper ruidoso en la noche y en la mañana por los camiones de limpieza, el personal atiende con jeta, cobran 10 euros por la llave de la habitación, exigen el pago en efectivo o cobran comisión si quieres pagar con tarjeta de débito, las camas súper chiquitas, incómodas y sucias, el baño muy sucio y el agua de la regadera no caía bien, demasiado inseguro, no incluye toalla ni lockers y los de la habitación no sirven y son ...

Excellent auberge pour un groupe pour une bachelor party.

O hostel é muito bem localizado: bares, restaurantes, supermercado e etc por perto. A equipe da recepção era excelente, muito simpáticos e a disposição. Havia sempre café à vontade e uma gatinha fofa chamada Luna. É possível ouvir barulho vindo da rua à noite, mas não foi um problema pra mim. Fiquei num quarto com 14 camas mas nunca esteve cheio. A minha única questão é com o banheiro, não tem divisória do duche, então ao tomar banho molhava o chão do banheiro quase todo 😕

Tout était super, le réceptionniste très sympa, Le café et des madeleines offertes à tout moment à la réception Emplacement idéal, rue très animée Il faudrait nettoyer le balai-brosse qui fait raclette de la salle de bain, et nettoyer sous les lits, mais dans l’ensemble c’était assez propre Merci

Paying in cash was kinda inconvenient. Bed was fine, most standout factor was the soap provided in the bathroom. Lockers in the dorm rooms are small tho, so you can’t fit a larger bag in there.

Okay room but it was not that clean and it was definitive overpriced for what you got for the money. Gross stairway and not so clean in the bathroom.

Great hostel but now have a bunch of bed bug bites, seems it was at least contained to only my bed and not the others too.

Très bonne auberge dans l'ensemble mais que je déconseille aux personnes très grandes car ce sont de petits lits superposés sur 3 étages présents dans les dortoirs.

Honnêtement, tout était parfait. Le personnel à la réception est vraiment gentil et accueillant, toujours à l'écoute si besoin de renseignements ou d'aide. Les chambres sont propres, les salles de bain aussi. L'auberge est hyper bien placée, pas loin des musées, du centre ville, des quartiers à visiter etc... Il y a un peu de bruit car il y a des bars pas loin, mais ce n'est pas trop trop dérangeant. Le séjour s'est super bien passé.

Despite the many positive reviews, my experience at this hostel was disappointing. The staff were responsive, and quick to resolve issues. The 10 bed room has only one bathroom with a single shower and toilet, and there are no additional communal bathrooms on the floor. There was also no hand soap or towels provided in either the room bathroom or the reception and neither had been deep cleaned in a long time. The room had a noticeable mildew smell upon entry. Cleanliness was a concern overall.

Eh, this place surely has a lot of fake reviews they are buying. This hostel sits rights above a crazy party street that downstairs outside that legitimately don’t start to begin to be quite until 5:30 am or so. Rooms were quite hot as well with no AC, Arab staff was super nice and professional when they were on clock
