Stay 424

This place was horrible! The front door was slammed shut on me by a charwoman, shouting 'I can't, I can't! ' What, speak in full sentences? The door code didn't work at 1500h and then when I did get in, the bed was not ready as late as 1540h. I left a day early as a result! This place should be de-listed on Hostelworld. I would NEVER return, especially without so many other options in CHI.

Private rooms are not connected to hostel areas, and they don't give you a code to access them. You have to enter via an employee area, a back hallway/staircase with an external exit, no staff, and a living space with unknown other occupants. No access to working laundry. Kitchen smelled like moldy sponge. Poor water pressure. Hair all over the bathroom, mold on ceiling. Overcharged me an extra occupant. Emailed 3 times and it took two days to reply...and then never called me.

The customer service at this hostel is non-existent. They completely ignored multiple requests for a payment receipt I needed for reimbursement, showing zero willingness to help. It’s clear they only care about taking your money, not about providing any support. If anything goes wrong or plans change, don’t expect any assistance. I would not stay here again.

The worst hostel I have ever been to. There was no staff at all! We got a room with a window to another room which meant we didn´`'t have a window at all!! And the worst part of all is that you could listen to the techno music that it was played in the bar next door until 1:30 in the morning. We didn't stay the second day, which it was saturday. We can't tell until what time in the morning it was open the bar next door. And since there was no staff at all we couldn't speak with no one.

No lock on the door to the shared room so once in the hostel anyone could walk into the room. One shower had a broken shower pan and the other had a broken handle and only ran cold water. my top bunk had no ladder. and the lockers were only small.

The self check-in process was pretty convenient. I did enjoy having access to some of the amenities available such as Washer/Dryer, kitchen, multiple bathrooms; however, the co-working space was closed during my stay for maintenance, without prior notice. The only common area that was available is found in the dormitory, which is not very comfortable and accessible in the evenings. I found the hostel to be very clean.

Weird. Great kitchen, rooftop smoking area only has access thru dorm room. No staff on site; description says 24/7 & they just aren't; you can text and get a response, though. No curtains on bunks. One top bunk has no ladder to get to at all & is I believe unsafe. Tech lounge downstairs superb. Location is very good.

The rooms are great. The public spaces are great. The location is great. The staff are really friendly. However there are not enough bathrooms for the number of rooms (1 between 5 and the dorm guests also use), the keypads are insanely and unnecessarily loud and disruptive and they made a mistake with the codes and programing so I couldn't enter my room and had to reach out in the middle of the night. They also don't seem to have any quiet hours policies and the led to noise until 4:30am.

I booked through the app and for some reason the hotel did not get my information. That was an issue cause when I arrived I was not able to access so I had to call. After that everything is good. I couldn’t see anyone that works there but they stay was very comfortable.

I've never stayed at a hostel with self-check-in before—it was convenient, but there wasn't really a reception area. If you needed anything, you were kind of on your own unless someone happened to be in the co-working space. We stored our bags after checkout before our flight, and we were told they would be locked up safely. We planned to return at 2:00 PM to pick them up, but when we got back, our access code no longer worked and all the doors were locked. That was quite a stressful situat...

Nice place! Convenient location right off the blue line, security always felt super tight. All of the booking info is handled through email and you never actually interact with any staff. Overall a great stay, would be happy to stay again!

Perfect place! Near a good amount of business so you can walk to eat/shop! Super clean, very accessible as well Best hostel ever

Clean, bright, easy to access while being safe. No frills but nice roof deck.

Stayed for one night, nice environment and dorms have comfortable common space. You need to bring your own lock for the lockers though.

Cleanliness Professionalism Security Up to date furniture that’s not just up to date but comfortable Bathrooms stylish clean and cozy I don’t have not one complaint and I can’t wait to return.. if you need a great stay a home away from home while u vaca PLZ GIVE STAY 424 your support you won’t regret it

Place is new. Perfect for first time hostel guests. Real clean and they let you use their co-working space on the first floor.They also have an event space you can rent for 100 an hour. Free street parking. Will come back.

It was so hot in our room that both my roommate and I were feeling ill. We had a peanut butter cup sitting there and the peanut butter cups melted. Other than that everything was fine

Great hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was on the smaller side but we were only there to sleep, so was fine! Bed was lovely. Coffee and tea provided. Short train ride into the city centre. Only very small inconvenience was that the room was right off of a common space so we could hear the TV going when trying to sleep.
