This was supposed to be my last hostel on a very long interrailing trip. I had a booking for the 25-29th of October, the 21st I get an email from booking that it was cancelled without any other explanation. I sent a message to the hostel without any response. I then called and they just said that they decided to close earlier and they wanted to give us a couple of weeks to book something else. Staff is nice. Nice vibe. The only this is they only accept cash payment (PayPal doesn’t work) and they did charging during checkout. I have to go on the train so I have to get the cash in the nearest cash machine by paying €20 exchange fee:( Everything else was good.

This is by far the worst hostel experience. Walls paper thin, bed incredibly uncomfortable. No staff after 6, so you check in alone. My bed had no sheet. Great first night sleep. Staff have a wide eyed look of confusion 24/7. Lockers are small, can't fit a suitcase, which is concerning as your room DOES NOT HAVE A LOCK! a code into a corridor of 2 rooms, even if you book private. Really unsafe, a thieves dream and I do not think they change the codes. And no room to store a suitcase after check ...

I will start with the positive thing , which is that the hostel is quite clean . I did not enjoy the atmosphere of the hostel at all , I felt that the owner was very weird and was forcing himself to be nice . I felt the same thing about the staff. They gave me the impression that they were not pleased when I was coming late ,even though I was not noisy , they did not give me a key for the main entrance and a half asleep man was opening the door for me .If I had to describe the hostel in one sent...

This place was nice and relaxed and the hostel itself was very pretty. I really liked the rooftop. My only complaint is that the aircon only gets turned on in the rooms at 10pm and is then turned off at 6am. It was almost impossible to be in the room outside of these times as it was soooo hot. We had temperatures like 34 degrees during our stay and it made it really hard to manage.

I stayed here for one night on December, just to find some cheap and fast accomodation for one-day stand in Faro. Unfortunately, my whole visit there was ruined due to that hostel. I slept before in dormitories and I do not require too much for that kind of accomodation- it’s normal that is a little bit noisy, you do not have full privacy etc. Hovewer, this hostel do not require many basic needs. Stayed very briefly as this hostel was out of my budget but was helped by very friendly staff. Got a tour of the place, and noted their showers and toilets were very clean. Originally saw curtains in the mixed dorm pictures but when I arrived there were none for the top bunk. However, felt comfortable enough to sleep. Awoken with nice pancakes in the morning!

I stayed here for a couple of nights 3 years ago, but I still think about it 🫠 It's a small, lovely hostel with a beautiful rooftop. It only has 2 dorms so I believe it accomodates around max. 30 people at any given day, so it starts feeling like a big family immediately, most of whom you meet daily around the breakfast table for pancakes. Would visit Faro just to stay here again :)

Hostel com ambiente super amigável, rooftop com vista para a marina e staff sempre disposto a ajudar com dicas da cidade. Os quartos são simples mas limpos, e a atmosfera social facilita conhecer outras pessoas que estão a viajar sozinhas.

Can only highly recommend this beautiful hostel. The owners and especially Bandi are generous and helpful people. They helped me and my partner when we were starting out on the fisherman's trail hiking. They went above and beyond. Speaking to the owners, big amazing plans for 2026! Good luck, we will be back

Recommended for sure! Pancakes for breakfast - simple as that. This place brings fond memories from childhood. Lovely.

Best hostel I have ever been to! Not only because it is really clean, cosy, with a beautiful rooftop terrace and great breakfast, most special was the welcoming atmosphere, they make sure you feel as part of the "hostel family", even though you are just there for a short time. L'auberge d'Adrien est vraiment top 👍 Accueil chaleureux, logements bien conçus et très propres, cuisine bien organisée. Le logement est idéalement situé au coeur de Faro. Et mention spéciale pour les délicieux Pancakes servis au petit déj! Je recommande

Super séjour dans cet hébergement, des moments de convivialité organisés pour ceux qui veulent le matin autour des délicieuses pancakes et le soir pour profiter du coucher de soleil. Des chambres nickel, un roof top super sympa et un super emplacement, allez y les yeux fermés!

Excellent séjour dans cette auberge de jeunesse. On est accueilli chaleureusement par Adrien, qui est français et gère son affaire d'une main de maître. Les chambres et les salles de bain sont propres. La terrasse pour prendre un verre le soir est fantastique. Et que dire du petit-déjeuner ? Pancakes à volonté, de quoi bien démarrer la journée. Quartier calme et central. Tout était parfait. Encore merci.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, the staff was so kind and helpful and we felt instantly welcomed. The Hostel itself has a cozy vibe and you can clearly see that there has been put a lot of thoughts into it. I can 100% recommend it to anyone visitng the Algarve!

Bendy, was polite. Willing to go out of his way to satisfy customers. I just spent few minutes talking to this young gentleman and his customer service blown me away. Keep it up mate!!

Cute hostel in the center of Faro with a beautiful rooftop lounge and a friendly atmosphere. It's quiet and not a party hostel, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Had plenty of good talks with other travelers and felt safe. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a chill hostel to explore Faro.
