Horrible, horrible hostel. Not well cleaned, beds are very uncomfortable and the reception is not helpful. They lost a bikini top of mine, 3 shirts and the bag I gave them my laundry in. They laughed at me when I asked if they wanted pictures of the items so they could look for them and blamed me for the items being gone. The location is very close to long beach, which is the only nice thing about this place. Overall highly do not recommend this hostel.

Checked in at 2pm and left at 11:45pm at night. There was bed bugs and even though my friend had asked the sheets to be changed they were still stained and the whole environment felt very off putting to stay in. The receptionist was also very rude to my friend when we were just sat down laughing about a joke, she called my friend over by saying “you come here if you don’t like it here you and your friend can leave”. The whole hostel just felt weird and not enjoyable. Thankfully got a refun...

Pros: location next to long beach and nice restaurants, had a good spread of breakfast (eggs, toast, fruit), can easily rent bikes or book transfers from reception Cons: very dirty (sweeping was the only cleaning, mould on my duvet, mould in bathrooms, dusty room, mirror never cleaned), no full length mirror, no lockers in rooms, reception staff rude (guests seemed an inconvenience to them)

Good location, close to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was good with eggs, toast and fruit. But the bathroom smelled really bad during the whole stay. Cleanliness was poor overall, with signs of mould. The woman at the reception was very rude and seemed constantly irritated, which made us feel unwelcome.

AVOID. We called this place Hub of Misery. I couldn’t sleep overnight here, I just used it for bag storage in the end it was so bad. The toilets/showers stunk of urine and were covered in hair and dirt. The staff tried to give my male friend a bag of dresses from laundry after misplacing his. There was some creepy old men staying here, one of which slept in a bed of mouldy banana peels. They refused to turn on air con in the day when it was 33 degrees so stunk of BO in rooms. No social vibe

Verschrikkelijk! Mevrouw aan de receptie was al niet aardig bij aankomst. Vervolgens vonden we om 23.00 uur bedwantsen, snel haar er bijgehaald. Volledig belachelijk gemaakt en afgekraakt door mevrouw. Ze zei dat het onze schuld zou zijn dat er bedwantsen waren en dat we de stomste Nederlanders ooit waren. Deed 0 moeite voor een oplossing. hebben gelukkig nog een andere slaapplek kunnen regelen, maar de volgende ochtend wilde mevrouw niet het gesprek met ons aangaan en bleef ze de schuld geven

Stayed here in May 2025 and it was a big letdown. Photos don’t match reality—place is dirty, cluttered, moldy, and poorly maintained. Brown walls. Bed frames chipped, showers gross, and staff laughed when we found puke in the shower, 5 minutes into our arrival. Rented a motorbike with no brakes—dangerous and no apology. Unsure if I got mosquito bites or bed bugs. AC and free breakfast were fine, but we moved to Blanco hostel and had a way better stay. Not recommended, even for the low pric...

Dirty…. Smell humidity everywhere Reception : shoes , bag everywhere, no organisation …. Only locker at the ground floor where only wallet can fit … Ok for one night if no choice as me or for very low budget

room and bedding was dirty, staff came into the room several times without knocking and did something with the AC without telling (AC off between 10am-4pm, rooms get really hot), bed frame paint peeled off and fell in bed/ on me, nightlight in bed was loose and fell on me, toilet/shower/hallway always full of mosquitoes due to open window

An sich ist die Unterkunft Mega!! Der Preis mit Frühstück ist unschlagbar!! Allerdings fand ich das Personal ziemlich unfreundlich, Englisch konntet die kaum verstehen. Wirklich sozial war dieses Hostel auch nicht, im mal kurze Gespräche aber mehr nicht. Zimmer waren gut, man hatte genug Platz. Die Duschen außerhalb der Zimmer waren okay, nicht super sauber aber auch nicht komplett dreckig. Also für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert!!

Fine for two nights, not super sociable and definitely not the cleanest hostel I've stayed in. But they offered breakfast for free, you could rent scooters (recommended for koh lanta) and the staff were nice

Such a good hostel, had a homey family feel with free breakfast and water. Workers helped out with any issues you had or with tips and recommendations

Ich war durch und durch zufrieden und bin meinen ganzen Aufenthalt auf Koh Lanta hier geblieben weil es so toll war. Günstig, gepflegt, gutes Frühstück und eine sehr liebe Gastgeberin. Würde jederzeit wieder hier her kommen!

Cute simple hostel near the beach but not much going on on the road of the hostel so have to get a bike to places. Food is cheap and nice there and breakfast was good

stayed in a private female dorm room, but the bathroom is very open and on the first floor so everyone walks past up and down the stairs when you’re showering etc. which doesn’t feel very private, vibe of the place was chill, not majorly social, right next to long beach which was handy!

I love it here, beds are super comfy and big and you get a nice big duvet with a comfy pillow. Lockers for personal items. Very friendly staff & free yummy breakfast

Best hostel in Koh Lanta by far and so cheap wow. Great staff, clean facilities, amazing breakfast, comfortable dorms with privacy and ac. Great vibe overall, I extended for 2 nights because I’ve never found such a great hostel during my 3 month solo trip!

Stayed in 4 hostels in koh lanta, this had the best breakfast and bed

I normally don’t write reviews, but this was the worst hostel I have stayed at since being in Thailand. The staff was not friendly, except for one cleaning lady. They always looked angry and responded in a grumpy way. The rooms were dirty and full of sand. I also had my clothes washed here and paid 40 baht for it. It may have smelled nice, but the clothes came back even dirtier. I would not recommend it because of the staff.

Great location! Really friendly staff, helped us with absolutely everything! Would definitely recommend as a base by the beach. Lovely overall atmosphere between the staff and guests.
