- Der Geruch im Zimmer war schier unerträglich, das schien allerdings niemanden zu interessieren. Ich bin dann spontan in die Jugendherberge umgezogen. Sehr schade, zumal ich fand, dass auf den Bildern alles sehr nett aussah. Meiner Erfahrung nach kann ich es allerdings leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen

- I stayed at this hostel in Dresden for one night and initially had a positive experience, which I have rated on this platform accordingly. The guy at the reception on the following morning was kind and helpful, and based on that, I verbally agreed to come back for another weekend stay. He said I could cancel just by calling the day before, and it sounded flexible and informal. However, I never received any confirmation for that verbal booking. When I later decided to come a day earlier instead, I made a completely new booking via Booking.com and paid for it, assuming I could cancel the booking made verbally. When I arrived late that night, a different staff member at the front desk confronted me, saying I owed money for the original (verbal) reservation because I hadn't cancelled it on time. She insisted on applying a cancellation policy for a booking that was never confirmed by email or message — no written proof, nothing. Despite already paying for the night via Booking.com, she withheld my room key until I paid again. I was tired and just gave in. Shockingly, the next morning, I was told I couldn't stay that night after all, because I had “paid for the cancellation,” not the stay. That clearly showed they were trying to double-sell the same bed, charging me for a cancellation and also planning to give the bed to someone else. Eventually, after communicating with their boss, I was refunded, but only after a lot of stress and frustration. It felt very unfair and dishonest. Do NOT trust verbal bookings here. If it's not on Booking.com or in writing, it doesn’t exist. The staff are not aligned, and their cancellation and refund policies are poorly communicated, which they can then twist to suit themselves. It seems like a way to charge guests twice for the same bed. The facilities are decent, but only book through a trusted platform and avoid relying on staff promises. Otherwise, you may end up paying for something you never even stayed for.

+ Horrible experience that almost made me return home. The area in which the hostel is located is apparently known to be “less good” and reminded me of Christiania in Copenhagen although ten times worse. There is a 10-15minute walk from and to the tram. Taxis are unknown in this neighbourhood. Hostel worker didn’t even know how to order a taxi. I did call beforehand and explain that I’m going to be coming late night after concerts and nobody informed me about the long walk alongside shady people and streets. I’d never book it if I knew. The dorm was also 3th floor up by stairs. Bathroom horrible. Someone can literally take a s*it while you’re showering or brushing your teeth. That’s not what I saw on the pictures when booking. If you are someone who doesn’t mind sitting on the ground by the side of the streets, barefoot, drinking and smoking with other whole-body tattooed youngsters. Then sure, maybe you’ll enjoy your stay. For me this was horrifying and I’m glad I fled to a decent place in Old town instead.
- Too bad I was too chocked to take photos during the taxiride to pick my backpack in the evening time. I’ve never seen so many young and junkie-looking people standing and sitting in the streets smoking and drinking. Not a nice neighbourhood at all.

- A szállás meghirdetése képekkel, meg leírással sehol nincs a valósághoz! Átverés! Nemhogy kávéfőző nincs a szobában, meg poharak, még ruhaszekrény sincs! Mindenütt sötétség, aztán hoztak még lámpákat! Lehangoló A földön lévő bőröndökből öltöztünk! Soha többet!

- スタッフ以外の全て。いままで30件以上ゲストハウスに宿泊したことがあるが、ダントツの最下位。中南米の安宿より酷い。部屋はカビ臭い。シャワーなどはもう最悪。

- Das Zimmer hat bestialisch gerochen, wirklich unerträglich. Das Badezimmer war eine Katastrophe (siehe Foto). Hab frühzeitig ausgecheckt und eine andere Unterkunft gebucht. 0 Sterne für die Hygiene. Auf dem Bettdeckenbezug war ein großer roter Fleck, der hoffentlich nur Farbe war. Für die Leistung sind die Preise extrem hoch. 2-3€ die Nacht wäre für diese Unterkunft angemessen gewesen. Kann die positiven Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hostel has a nice kitchen and common area. The junk beds weren’t comfortable and the room was super cold. I slept with my jacket and 3 layers of clothes on top of each other inside the jacket and also with the blanket. It would be the same if I slept outside. The location is nice and the neighborhood was safe to walk around.

Amazing hostel with the nicest people, good social events and everything you need at a hostel!
It is not advertised clearly that the bathroom is shared with about 10 people or more (I booked the 6 bed women's) which I wasn't pleased about. They were clean enough but awkward to use as it is a really one large bathroom with partitions up around the toilet and showers to enable multiple users. There are curtains which are nice and the kitchen has everything you need. It is a very social hostel but not great if you want some peace as it is right next to a very noisy bar. Lovely staff.

Amazing place to stay with very helpful staff who are full of information about area and things to do. The trek to the third floor was a long one, but they’re not shy about advising this and I knew what I was getting into with an old German building. Would definitely recommend!
This hotel really exceeded my expectations. Despite my early arrival, I was checked in early without any problems - the service was at a high level from the first minute. The staff at the reception is distinguished by sincere friendliness and attentiveness, which is not so common these days. The atmosphere in the hotel is warm and welcoming, and you can feel real care for the guests. The interior is thought out to the smallest detail - a stylish combination of modernity and historical elements...
Great hostel in the lively area of Dresden-Neustadt. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station, so very convenient to get around and travel daily to Saxon Switzerland National Park. I met a bunch of cool and kind people in the dorm I was staying in, and the hostel staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, so I highly recommend it.

Good place to stay for a night, I was in a 6 person room and I really liked the rustic bunk beds. I didn’t like the shower facilities as they weren’t very private and the doors were see-through. Cool vibe.
Toller Aufenthalt, kann ich empfehlen! + Super Gegend + Super Ausstattung (in der Küche gibt es alles!) + Sauber + Zumeist freundliche Mitarbeitende (manche waren etwas unaufmerksam) Leider knarzen die Betten. Wenn man das Stockbett mit einer rücksichtsvollen Person teilt, geht es, aber in meiner letzten Nacht hatte ich Pech und konnte wegen dem Geknarze nicht gut schlafen.
Great stay, I can recommend! + Super Gender + Super Equipment (in the kitchen there is everything!) + Sauber + Zumeist friendly Staff (some were a bit inattentive) Unfortunately the Beds are crunching. if you share the Stockbett with a considerate Person, fine, but in my last night I had Pech and could not sleep well because of the Geknarze.
Wonderful old-school hostel with a real self-made feeling (every room in its own theme), centrally located in the Neustadt (where everything happens) and surprisingly peaceful inside. Five stars well-deserved!

Definitely the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Germany. It actually feels like a hostel, not a hotel. It has a comfortable, inviting common room with board games and reading chairs, a small intimate kitchen which has everything you need including cooking oil. The staff are attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with large enough lockers. It’s in a great location next to a lively park and only a 2 minute walk from the nearest grocery store. Highly recommend.
The showers feel a bit old but the rest is amazing. Right in the middle of the Neustadt

AMAZING hostel!! great staff, nice people, very social and a very cute design. the beds were quiet and comfy, whole area is very modern and liberal and i felt very safe. can 100% recommend for anyone especially solo travellers!!!
Can’t complain about anything, its nice and cozy, the staff are kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and well organized. Plus they have gatherings in the common room, I had free delicious pasta while chatting with the fellow solo travelers.
