Chalok Reef Divers Hostel

Fantastisch verblijf gehad! 9 nachten hier verbleven, fijne bedden met privacy, elke dag schoonmaak, rustige omgeving, aardig en behulpzaam personeel en de duikcursus hier volgen is zeker een aanrader!

Pros : Very good hostel overall, good location. I stayed in a four-bed room with a private bathroom. Everything was new and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. A small kitchen is available in the common area. Cons : The swimming pool closes at 6pm. AC is turned off every day from 11am to 4pm which makes it difficult to stay in the room. The common area doesn’t have AC. The many prohibition signs could be accompanied by warmer messages in order to maintain a welcoming atmospher...

The resort is beautiful and the dorms are lovely with extremely comfortable beds. There is also a living space with sofas, a kitchen, water cooler and TV. The hostel is extremely clean with a deep clean being done each day and beds being made. The pool is lovely and so relaxing. Mainly the staff are so welcoming and fun to be around, they assist with anything you need. The hostel offers diving courses and the manager helped me gain some confidence and do a dive which was fantastic!

A nice hostel with nice facilities and spacious rooms:) I stayed in the 4-people bedroom and it was perfect! The staff was helpful when the water pipes suddenly broke and also helpful with getting a taxa or recommending different things to do. The only thing I would say is, if you don’t feel safe renting a scooter this place is not it because it is far from most of the great spots!

I had an great stay at the hostel. Getting my Open Water license under the guidance of Anais was simply incredible! I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my diving career. Thank you so much for that! :)

The Hostel lays within a Resort. The hostel manager June was sooo helpful, friendly and cute all the time. The hostel has 2 dorms, I was in 8 dorm, and all the furniture was brand new, since the hostel just opened like a months ago. They would give the same comfort as for the resort guests, such as daily cleaning, daily fresh sheets and daily fresh towel. Very comfy beds. Only the place is little bit far from the beach but far enough from the main road, so very quiet area.

I felt very comfortable there. It wasn't the easiest place to find, but in the end I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is quite small, which makes it easy to get to know other guests. Great beds, thick curtains, everything clean, and even a small common area with sofas and a kitchenette including a refrigerator. Not cheap, but for Koh Tao, the price-performance ratio is quite good. I highly recommend it.

I had an amazing stay at Chalok Reef Divers! The hostel is brand new, and everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable — honestly one of the best I’ve had while traveling. I also loved that each bed had its own outlet with integrated USB ports, which made charging devices super convenient.

Bestes Hostel auf Ko Tao!! Die Betten sind bequem, echte Decken und die Bettwäsche wird alle 3 Tage gewechselt, sehr neues Hostel (wenige Wochen alt). Es gibt einen Aufenthaltsbereich mit Küche und Kühlschrank. Ich habe mit den Chalok Reef Divers meinen Open Water & Advanced Open Water gemacht und kann es jedem empfehlen. Super freundliches Personal (Grüße an Ana, June & Kim). Ich habe mich Wohl gefühlt und könnte auch noch länger hier bleiben. Ich komme definitiv wieder :)

One of the best Hostels I’ve ever stayed. Rooms are pretty good, comfy beds and everything clean. They got a cool chill area, fridge kitchen balcony everything. I’ve met lots of really cool people there. The Staff is also very friendly especially June:) Ich can also recommend diving there, it was always well organized and we were just in smaller groups which was pretty good. If you are lucky you will dive have Jesse as Instructor, damm he was one of the best guides I ever had I my live. 10/1...

Very clean and comfortable hostel, beds are some of the most comfortable I have slept in. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I dived through this hostel and it was very well organised and instructors were great.

When I wanted to book my stay for Koh Tao, everything in my budget was already booked. When I saw the Chalok Reef Divers Hostel on Hostelworld I saw that it didn’t had many reviews and wasn’t open for very long, but all of that wasn’t noticed during the stay at any time! June from the reception was super sweet and helpfull, the dorm was clean and nice and the guests of the hostel could even enjoy all the benefits of the surrounding resort like the pool and area!

Mon expérience a été incroyable chez Chalok Reef. L’accueil a été si chaleureux, June a toujours veiller à ce que notre séjour se déroule au mieux ! Nous avons aussi passé l’open water avec Ana, instructrice chez Chalok. Elle a été très professionnelle et souriante pour nous mettre dans les meilleures conditions. Je reviendrais sans hésiter, peut être pour passer l’Advanced ;) Khàawp khun khráp, ça va me manquer
