La Selva Hostel

We had a great time at the LaSelva Hostel! The Owner and the workers were really sweet and gave us a lot of recomendations for our vacation.

q hostel tan maravilloso !! javier and his beautiful family have put a lot of heart and care into every part of the hostel and it really shows. the art, decor, music, vibras were all magical. you’re well connected with the metro and it was such a nice escape from the city, it felt like we were close to the beach instead. definitely recommend the stay 100% and try the mezcalita con maracuya :) muchisimas gracias por todo 💗🌈🌼🍀🌻

Un gran lugar para hospedarse. El rumbo no es tan bonito pero una vez adentro de desconectas de la ciudad. El metro está a unos pasos así que super accesible

Todo genial, solo que habia mucho ruido por las remodelaciones internas y externas. Otro punto a mejorar en la habitación compartida de mujeres sería que hay muy poca luz y como las literas no tienen cortinas hay que prender el foco y e incómoda a las personas dormidas. Los lockers están juntos hasta el fondo e igual hay que prender luces para ver y molestar a las que les quedan cerca. Dejé mis cosas en una litera y al volver otra persona me las movió a otra cama. De ahí en fuera me encan...

I absolutely loved it here !!! Looks just like the pictures and I felt at home as soon as I arrived. It is right off the 9 line of the metro. Easy to find, and there are a few restaurants and grocery stores a few minutes walking. The jacuzzi was fantastic and so relaxing , surrounded by so many plants and lights at night. You will feel welcomed and taken care of here. I received a delicious welcome drink and even though I had to check out early for a flight they made me breakfast to go! 🙏🏻...

Soooo ein schönes Hostel, toller Vibe, super liebe Mitarbeiter, man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und umsorgt. Danke für die grüne Oase in der Stadt :)

Loved my stay here so much I extended by a few nights! Great little oasis just outside of the city centre but easy to get to on the metro. Javier and the team were so welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious every day! Given they are quite new everything was fresh and clean and in perfect working order. Highly recommend! ◡̈

Come with ears and eye protection. It was loud at night. Breakfast was good though.

Ich hab mich super Wohlgefühlt! Die Zimmer haben alles was man braucht. Der kleine Garten, indem man sich entspannen kann ist wunderschön und die Mitarbeiter sind wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit! Das Frühstück war mein absolutes Highlight, so konnte man gut in den Tag starten 😊 Ich bin wirklich begeistert und komme das nächste Mal wieder hier her :)! Danke 😁🥰

Amazing hostel. Everything was so clean and beautiful. One of the best I’ve stayed in! Javier was so kind and helpful, plus breakfast was amazing!!

Brand new hostal with a beautiful atmosphere. The owner is super friendly and helpful. It has a good social vibe. There is even a whirlpool. The only downside is that the area is not that great but with the metro you are quickly in the center. I would highly recommend to check it out.

El Hostal es precioso, todo está muy bien cuidado, alrededor del hostal no hay mucho que ver ni está muy lindo, pero se llega súper rápido al centro o a la Roma, el personal es muy amable y el dueño siempre está al pendiente para ayudar. Ah, y el baño de mi habitación compartida de mujeres, tenía secadora 🫶🏼 Con la decoración y las plantas se siente como un pedacito de Selva en medio de CDMX ❤️‍🔥solo que sin los mosquitos.

Genuinely one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in. The staff/owners are so lovely and accommodating. The facilities are always clean and well looked after.

What a great hostel! A jungle with groovy music not far from the center in walking distance. Delicious breakfast, lovely people, comfy and secluded beds, everything you need, nothing you don’t!

La Selva is absolutely beautiful, w/ lush jungle vibes reminiscent of Tulum. It offers a peaceful escape from the chaos of CDMX & feels like a hidden oasis. Owners, Javier &April, truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The only downside for us, was the proximity to the hwy. The constant traffic noise is noticeable, especially at night when trying to sleep. The surrounding area also isn’t the safest/most walkable, though it is conveniently located near the main bus/train station...

The staff were phenomenal. I never leave reviews but the team just went above and beyond. The shared space is really nice and the breakfast is amazing.

Best start to my trip I could have wished for. There is something special about this jungle oasis. Super clean, super friendly staff and great atmosphere. Thank you Javier!

An absolute gem! Perfectly located near the intersection of three metro lines so you can easily explore all day in CDMX then return to the hostel to chill on the patio or in the hot tub. The beds are super comfy, slept like a baby! Don't miss out on the included breakfast.

Bon hostel. Personnel très agréable et bienveillant, très bon petit déjeuner, emplacement pratique, prix correct. Toutefois la proximité avec un axe routier important est gênant. Bruit et vibrations.
