The personal was nice and the location was good but the place is highly neglected and dirty.

Dirty, but well located
respectfully it was foul. The toilet holes were covered in urine. One shower worked and it fell off the wall. No soap anywhere. Sinks were full of hair and spit. The staff were either asleep or smoking at the desk. I would highly recommend booking a hotel down the street for the exact same price
De hostel vond ik niet direct. De hostel is op de bovenste verdiepingen van het gebouw waar een koffieshop is. Het bord met de naam van de hostel hangt bovenaan op het gebouw. Je moet naast de koffieshop de trap naar het 3 de nemen , dan de gang links tot op het einde en daar kan je inchecken . Ligt naast de oude stadsomwalling en dichtbij metro Hepingmen.
The hostel is on the top floors of the building where there is a coffee shop. The sign with the name of the hostel hangs on top of the building. You have to take the 3 de trap next to the coffeeshop, then the gang links to the end and there you can check in. It is next to the old stadsoming and near the metro Hewallwallpingmen.
very simple hostel. locker broken so didn't feel my stuff was safe. showers weren't clean and there was no TP available!! would really return here.
Quite run down Could do with a refurb, especially the bathroom area i didnt even want to take a shower in there so i didnt. Guys have to go down 2 floors just use the toilet. I did like the balcony area at the top tho and location is absolutely fine.
Had an amazing time with the most friendly staff who have become good friends. Will definitely be back .
Our stay at ShiSanDufu hostel was awesome! There is a social common room where people (both Chinese local and foreigners) regularly gathered. The rooms are neat and tidy and the place is well kept. Being located within the Xi’an city walls, is also in close proximity to many tourist attractions and points of interest. Please note though that there are only Chinese style bathrooms in this hostel. The staff were extra nice to us during our stay and themselves, and fellow patrons, often helped us...

Nothing wrong with a hostel where no one in staff speaks English but would be good to know that before arriving. Absolutely not a social place either if you’re a foreigner
I absolutely loved my time here! The hostel is in a GREAT location for visiting most of the famous landmarks in Xi’an! You’ll be close to most sites and walking distance to the nearest subway station, which will provide easy travel around the city! The vibes are also very nice. Everyone was friendly and the decor both inside and outside is beautiful! Small lockers are provided and the beds are sturdy and clean!
