CHE Zipolite Hostel & Beach Club

Really bad reception, just half of the need it information. I don’t thing the clean well between guest. Notice the bed was not clean before new gust was assigned to the bed. All they care is for your money. I won’t stay here not even for free. Argentinians own this place, they seems to be doing you a favor to let you stay here.

To be honest, after seeing all the reviews and nice pictures I expected a lot from this place. The beds were quite comfortable and the location is amazing right at the beach, but that’s all. The dorm was always extremely sandy with stuff laying on the floor bc there were no hangers whatsoever to keep the room a bit organised. The bathroom was also very crusty with only one sink for several dorms. I could go on but there’s not enough space. Not worth my money.

Ce n'est pas un naked beach club. Et en journée la partie plage est envahie par des tours venant de Puerto Escondido qui font des jeux à boire. Le personnel est pas très accueillant, on a appris par hasard la présence d'un verre de bienvenue. Sensation de body shaming également. La note est assez haute grâce à la chambre et l'accès plage. Vous pourrez sûrement trouver mieux, surtout pour du naturisme.

Der raum hat leider sehr gemieft & ich wurde als frau alleine in einen mixed dorm gepackt, was ich nicht so gut finde. Mixed bedeutet aus sicherheitsgründen für mich, dass ich nicht alleine als frau in einen männerdorm gesteckt werde. Es ist sehr sehr heiß in den räumen, die klima im zimmer ging nicht. Hostel aber lagetechnisch direkt am strand & gut zentral gelegen.

The hostel was in a great location next to the beach and the rooms were nice. Not the best atmosphere and I didn’t meet many people throughout my stay. We lost power for multiple days so had no air conditioning, fridge wasn’t working and my food went bad, plus I had to leave my electronics in an unsecured location to charge. Water stopped mid shower. Not the best experience but being by the beach was nice.

Great location, terrible service. I shortened my day after just one night. The power went out in the Hostel, and they tried to blame it on the power being out in the whole town (everywhere else had power). They refused to give me any discounts or refunds, even though the AC and showers weren’t working. The manager was INSANELY rude about it, and got a yelling altercation with me in the middle of the outdoor lobby. There is a way to handle these things, and a way not to. Horrible.

Dafür dass die Unterkunft etwas teurer ist bietet sie weniger an als andere. Es gab keine Seifen auf den Zimmern, nur bei den allgemein Toiletten, Handtücher musste man ausleihen ohne Geld zurück bei Rückgabe, es gab nur drei Handtuchhalter obwohl das Zimmer für vier ist und im öffentlichen Bereich gibt es nicht wirklich etwas zum gemütlich hinsetzen. Leider nicht wirklich weiterzuempfehlen, auch wenn das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war.

Dont hesitate to book!!! I had such a great experience here! Perfect location : right on the beach, you can order delicious food and drinks at the beach club, and you are 5 minutes walking from fruterías, convenience stores, cafes, and the bus stop that goes across town and to Oaxaca. The reception staff were so kind, warm, and helpful. A big thank you to Lean, Muri, Juli, Maroos, and Poncho for being so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming! I would definitely come back. Had an amazing stay at Che Hostel Zipolite. The vibe is exactly what you want in Zipolite, relaxed, social, and full of great energy. It strikes a perfect balance between being lively and still giving you space to unwind. Huge shoutout to Muri, Lean, Marcos, and Joel. They really make the place what it is. Super welcoming, always helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure everyone feels included and has a great time. The location is ideal, close to everything with beachfront views.

I loved my stay in the hostel the bed was super comfy I slept like a baby, shower and bathrooms were cleaned every day in the morning , very chill and cozy vib the staff were the best super friendly and helpful ( lean, Evgany, Julian, Muri,Poncho) thank you for the awesome stay, guys hope to see you again

Me gustan todos los Ches, pero ese al lado del mar tiene algo especial. Los dormitorios son súper cómodos. Todo el equipo es muy amable, mucho gusto Muri, Lean, Marcos, and Joel y gracias para todo ! Nos vemos pronto :)

I had a fantastic time here, hostel is right next to the beach, equipped with everything you need and very chill vibes. Staff is super friendly & helpful and made my time here so special! thanks to Evgeny & Julito for all the good times and bad karaoke singing. 11/10 would def come here again

Merci à Muri pour son super accueil et ses conseils! L'hostel est super bien placé, propre et agréable. La clim dans la chambre est un plus. Je recommande ! Seul point à noter, les transat au premier rang sur la plage ne sont disponibles qu'en consommant pour un certain montant.

The hostel was great; right on the beach, with a bar and the rooftop views are fantastic. Mori at the bar (from Argentina) was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The things about Zipolite that I didn’t know until I went there were: the very high (70%) humidity, which really needed 24hr aircon; the very strong waves that meant it wasn’t possible to swim in the sea; and that it wasn’t a nudist/ gay nudist beach. It was a beautiful place and great trip, but get 24hr aircon at a min...

Overall good stay, amazing location. Most volunteers were nice but sometimes a bit of cold, weird vibe with staff during activities.

Es war wunderbar im Hostel Che. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, es ist gross und hell. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben noch ein paar Nächte verlängert, weil es uns so gefallen hat.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Che Zipolite. Jeden Tag wurde tolle Workshops angeboten, wie Meditationskurs und Postkarten bemalen. Direkt am Strand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen und einer großen Küche. Die Mitarbeiter waren super sympathisch und haben klasse Musik angemacht! Liebe Grüße an Tati, Lean, Muri, Poncho & Marcos

El lugar genial, desde que llegas en la recepción Lean, Tati y Muri siempre estan ahi para ayudarte por si tienes dudas o buscas recomendaciones, Maria y Joel me recibieron mejor que en mi casa con un vaso de agua fria y un shot de tequila para sentirme en casa, Marcos durante el dia y Poncho en la noche, siempre al tanto de que todo y todos esten pasandola bien y por último Anto, se robo mi corazon y no me lo devolvio, excelente en sus actividades y la forma de unir gente. 10/10

Fantastic hostel - clean, cool room (AC and a fan for each bed), shaded chill out area with hammocks and bean bags, 30 seconds from your door to the beach and a special mention to the staff Tati, Lean, Miri Poncho and Marcus for being so friendly and helpful!
