Sunshine Hostel

Not great for female solo travellers and better places to stay nearby. Unclean, bad atmosphere, lots of whinging from staff, no breakfast included, no jacuzzi. Woken up first morning by the guy shouting at a couple to leave or he’d call the cops as they’d only paid for one bed, could have been handled better and not startled us all. Cut my stay short. BE HAPPY 24/7 lol.

It's a small Hostel with a kind owner. The people there were friendly and welcoming. Definitly worth checking out if you're in that area.

I was there with a friend of mine. We had a very good stay. The hostel was very clean and the owner was really friendly & caring. He also took us around and showed us the most beautiful places of the village. Moreover the hostel had outside showers. This was really nice. Additionally there was also a very lovely dog around. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! We recommend it to everyone, who wants to spend some chilled days near the beach at a portuguese village!!

Lourenço (the caretaker of this beautiful home) welcomed me with open arms even though the hostel had just closed its doors because of the winter season. This meant it was just the two of us most of the time. And I truly enjoyed it.

Lorenzo was a genuine guy who helped me out a lot when I stayed at sunshine hostel. The location wasn’t the best for kitesurfing but that was my own research disability. He brought me to the other side of the lake and picked me up as well. Helpful as he was, providing everything I needed. The hostel was empty unfortunately because he and his dad (plus lovely dog) deserve more.I would recommend to stay here because as a backpacker,you’ve got everything you need!
