Teofel Hostel

Stayed here during Sinulog 2026. The location is excellent and honestly the biggest advantage, it’s right along the parade route, which made the festival experience very convenient. The price is mid-range, not cheap but reasonable considering the event and location. The room was very small for a family of four, and unfortunately the TV was not working during our stay. Overall, great location for Sinulog, but the room size and amenities could be improved.

The aircon wasn’t cold but cool. I stayed here once before and the aircon was cold but a different room. When I talked with the front desk they had maintenance check the aircon who said it was fine. I ended getting a fan in the room to compensate for the poor aircon performance.

good location if you want to hit markets, restaurants and malls in downtown Cebu City area. walking distance to south bus terminal.

The worst hostel I've been. The receptionists always grumpy, they didn't help me at all, not even giving informations about the city or the hostel or turist agencies with tours. Had to do all by myself. Never experienced a hostel like this. It doen't feel like a hostel at all!!! And is so overcharged! The place is not good and nothing to offer to the clients! Not even smiles!! If I could woud give zero star.

This is not a place to stay at, mostly because of the location. Quite far from the airport and overall a total miss, unfortunately. We were to girls who were looking for a place to relax before moving on to Palawan. This part of Cebu is not for tourists. Poor area, no restaurants or things like that, so be aware. The hostel itself had ok rooms: air conditioning very loud but working, stains on the bedsheets and overall not a cosy place. We found out that the price of this hostel was the same as ...

This is definitely not a travelers hostel, it is just a hotel with a rooftop balcony area that is nice. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. It's central location makes it easy to shop at local stores and eat at local restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
