Br Hostel

Look, I had a good time and met some good people. My problem comes from the fact that I had bed bugs in my original bed. I now have many bites over my body and instead of offering any sort of compensation or even laundry - I was simply moved to another room (a cheaper room) at 2am with no apologies. This should not happen in a hostel at this price and especially not ignoring the problem and almost acting as if it was my fault that I had bed bugs.

Hostel muito bem localizado, bonito por dentro e os funcionários foram sempre simpáticos. Banheiros bons e quartos simples.

I met some amazing people here and the location is fantastic. However the staff were very rude and also my food was stolen from the fridge within the space of hours!

Everyone working as the hostel is really nice and helpful ! The only thing is that we found the 4 bed room very very small, especially when there are 4 people in there at the same time, and the beds were doing a lot of noise as soon as someone moved. I wouldn't have minded for a lower price, but at the price we paid I expected a bit more comfort. The neighborhood is really nice, close to a lot of restaurants and nice bars !

I had a nice stay here, the communal areas are good for relaxing, the staff were nice and the rooms were clean.

Buen lugar, muy seguro y ordenado. Puede mejorar al incluir en su administracion atividades diarias para que los huespuedes se integren y sientan planes cada dia.

The front desk man (sorry I forgot his name) was incredibly welcoming and kind. I was here pre carnaval and people were social. There’s big lockers under the bed to put your things. They let me leave my things after checkout and overall were very attentive and welcoming. Told me I could stop by at any point afterwards to hang out. The only issue I had is that there was water in the bathroom floor and they told me they were aware of the issue but didn’t do anything about it which was annoying...

Melhor hostel de Belo Horizonte, sem dúvidas. a localização é incrível, perto dos principais rolês noturnos, fácil ir a pé para alguns lugares na Savassi. Os funcionários são todos muito legais, tem café da manhã continental e eles têm atividades em dias da semana específicos. Fui na trilha da Serra com o Allan nosso guia ajudou demais em recomendações. O ambiente é ótimo para conhecer gente nova, fiz várias amizades com pessoas de vários países. Um ponto forte é o banheiro...

Excelente Hostel, recomendo!

I stayed at BR for 5 nights and had a great stay. The hostel is very clean, has a great kitchen and staff are extremely friendly, in particular Paulo! Highly recommend this hostel. Will definitely come back when I return to Belo Horizonte.

I had a great time at the Br Hostel, full of great encounters. The staff was lovely, we were able to go hiking in Serra do Coural with Alan who explained a lot of things about the city of Belo Horizonte. The location is very strategic, a few minutes walk from Praça da Liberdade.

Well located and clean, but the bunk beds didn’t have curtains and there wasn’t much of a social scene when I stayed

Lugar muito agradável e bem localizado no Savassi, próximo ao mercado central, mercado novo, rodoviária e barzinhos. A equipe é excelente e muito receptiva, ambiente limpo. No quarto senti falta de mais tomadas, mas no geral excelente, voltarei, recomendo.

Good Hostel to Cowork. In a safe neighborhood w/ many restaurants nearby. Hostel is clean and well maintained. Would recommend to others.

I booked two nights but left after one because I couldn’t sleep in the heat of the night as there was no AC. But they provide a large metal gated locker and the bed is comfortable enough. Very secure as they ask for name and room when entering the building. Located in the better area of the city, which was about 15 20 minute walk from the center of the city.
