- When I made my reservation I asked for a lower bunk bed as I had a foot injury. Their welcome message was pages long trying to sell me tours before I'd arrived but they couldn't acknowledge my request for a lower bunk. Not only did they not care about my request and my injury, but they went out of their way not to give me one even when one became available just for the fun of it. The male receptionist’s attitude was nothing short of appalling, apparently thinking that tourists need to be put in their place. I had also asked about the tours they were trying to sell me and was told more info would be given on arrival, but none was provided. As for the hostel itself, it’s too far from everything and you won’t want to stay there; too hot to walk the distance during the day, and too deserted at night to feel comfortable walking back, especially with the packs of big dogs. Their rental bikes and other services are pricier than in other places. The rooms are crammed with people; not a single hook in sight so you need to sleep with your wet towel. The showers and sinks are outside and you’ll be freezing early morning and late at night while brushing your teeth. The bedding and pillows weren’t fresh.

- Hayatımda kaldığım en kötü yerdi. Asla puanına aldanmayın ve sakın burada kalmayın! 1. Bütün Çalışanların hiçbirşey umrunda değil. Kabalar. Problem çözme becerileri yok. 4 kişilik odada kalıyordum. Akşam Saat 10 da uyumaya gittim. Odada kalan diğer 2 kişi yüksek sesle konuşuyorlar ve film izliyorlardı. Bunu gece 12 ye kadar devam ettirdiler. Görevli odaya geldiginde agresif bir şekilde cevabı şuydu. Ne yapabilirim?? :) neredeyse onların odada sex yapmalarıns bile izin verecekti! Ayrıca otelden çıkış saat 11 de. Ve sonrasında lobide dahi oturamayacağımı söylediler. Sebebini anlamak güçtü. 2. Odalar çok pis.. çarşaflar ve yastıklar kokuyor. Etrafta fareler cirit atıyor 3. Herşey para. Çamaşır makinesinin 1 kilo eşya yıkama ücreti 2000 peso. Verdikleri havlular kokuyor 4. Ortak alanlar çok gürültülü asla uyuyamıyorsunuz 5. Odalarda tek bir vantilatör var. Çöl sıcagında hiçte yeterli değil 6. 3 tane lavabo var. Tuvaletler temizlenmiyor. Çok kötü bir deneyimdi. Asla tavsiye etmiyorum

- Hostel is super worn and a bit dirty. Wifi is weak and doesn't work in the rooms. Access to showers/toilets is via outdoors. Not very social. When checking in I was told there is a washing machine for customers to use and price is 2000 CLP/kg. Later I went to reception to ask if I can do my laundry. Answer was "maybe in 30 minutes". Receptionist seemed to be busy and I was in a hurry to get my laundry done, so when the previous customer was done he advised me how the process works and I started to wash my clothes which weighed 1 kg. Later the receptionist came there and was angry because I hadn't come to the reception first (even if I had) and he also said it is not allowed to wash only 1 kg. I apologized and asked what he wants me to do. He said he would find out and never returned. When the washing machine stopped I noticed that there hadn't been water after the beginning and all my clothes were still dirty. OBVIOUSLY THEY HAD JUST CUT OFF THE WATER SUPPLY WITHOUT TELLING ME. I had no time to start to argue with them at that time. Later another receptionist came to ask me for a payment for the laundry!! I said I'm not gonna pay for that and there was a third employer who spoke something in Spanish (I didn't understand) and I didn't have to pay so I assume he just explained what they had done. HOW RIDICULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT!!! I could have paid more than 2000 CLP if their minimum amount is like 2 or 3 kgs laundry, but I don't understand their behaviour at all. I apologized and after that their "service" was like that. IT SEEMS TO BE MORE LIKE A NURSERY, NOT A RATIONAL HOSTEL, SO MY ADVICE IS: DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT "SERVICE" FROM THE EMPLOYERS WHO ACT LIKE 5 YEAR OLD KIDS!!!
BED BUG INFESTATION! Do not stay here, they are infested with bed bugs and will lie about it. My partner is absolutely covered in bites, and it is costing us so much money to try and get rid of them. When we asked about whether they have bed bugs, after noticing bites, they lied and said they have never had a problem. However, from reading reviews from a couple of weeks before we arrived, several people reported them. Also, we subsequently realised they have closed dorm rooms down and removed ...
I have rated everything low to make sure others can be warned about the beg bug issue. The private room had a severe infestation of bed bugs. I was covered in bites. When we initially spoke to staff they said that they had never had an issue. The next day when the bites had fully come out we spoke to staff again who said we must have brought them as they fumigated the room the day before we arrived. explained we couldn’t have and they then blamed the plane. Clearly they are not taking ...
The hostel has a severe bed bug infestation. My partner has several dozen bites after sleeping in one of the 8-bed dorms. After showing photos of the bites and evidence of bed bugs in the bed, the manager tried to blame us for bringing the bugs. Given the sheer number of bed bugs this is impossible and this gaslighting attitude shows that Casa Voyage is not taking the necessary actions to solve the issue. Do not stay here until they prove that they have professionally fumigated the hostel.

L’équipe est super sympa, pleins de conseils pour visiter les alentours et le Chili en générale. Le lieu est vraiment agréable, on s’y sent très bien. J’ai passé un super moment dans cette auberge

Malgré la courte durée de mon séjour à Casa Voyage, j’en garde un souvenir absolument incroyable. I had a great experience staying here! The staff were incredibly kind and helped me organize all the activities I wanted to do in San Pedro. The location is excellent, and the pool is definitely a big plus. Highly recommended!
It's a really nice setup. Bunks have curtains, the kitchen has plentiful appliances and is fairly spacious for storing food. The pool is cleaned thoroughly everyday. They provide evening meals for quite cheap. A number of chill out spots such as hammocks, outdoor tables, and sundecks. I would have scored a little higher though unfortunately in the last couple of days there was a bed bug outbreak which I know the staff are handling and taking seriously.

Hostel top avec le personnel super sympa. Il y a juste le paiement qui est un peu bizarre, avec un taux de change clairement désavantageux. Les prix des activités proposées sont aussi legerement supérieur aux agences en ville
Such a homely relaxed hostel. Loved all the social areas and little gym. Was a perfect place to stay to explore San Pedro and between trips!

Nice communal areas, it's a busy hostel so easy to meet other travellers. I booked for a 6 person dorm but was put in an 8 person dorm, a small increase but it did make a difference with how busy/noisy the room was.
Everything great ! The place is really cute, there is everything you need. The staff is helpful too. You can book many tours from the hostel directly.

It’s not about the bedbugs. I wouldn’t leave a bad review about a place just because it has a pretty bad bedbug infestation. That’s just a part of backpacking and a risk of hostels at all times. I’m taking the time to write a review because the owner lied about having bedbugs, so not to miss out on a one nights rent. El lugar es súper recomendable, tranquilo. Queda a 10 o 15 minutos del centro de san pedro. Los chicos del hostal súper amables todos, hacen actividades, la gente también muy buena onda. recomiendo 100%
Nice place, slightly outside of town and facilities could be better but an excellent place to stay for a couple of nights.
Pros: - Lots of friendly people here! - Lovely pool and the hostel grounds are cool and relaxing - Lots of socialising spaces - Comfy bed - Decent activities and tours - Hire bikes available Cons: - Kitchen was pretty grim and cramped; it could have done with some deep cleaning - Our room was quite noisy with people walking past outside and getting up in early hours for tours etc - You can only pay by cash for hostel activities and tours 😒
