Mamatierra Hostel

Un des meilleurs hostels de mon voyage en Amérique du Sud ! Sebastian et Zayira sont super arrangeants sur plein d’aspects, notamment sur l’organisation des activités. Dortoir et sanitaires très propres. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Sandwich et snack en cas de départ tôt. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Franchement, je recommande à 100% !

It's a nice hostel with a great breakfast, pretty close to the main street, it was very clean.

Das Hostel ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Sehr entspannt und wirklich sauber. Außerdem ist Frühstück inklusive, welches wirklich gut ist.

Very nice hostel in San Pedro de Atacama. The common area is very nice and the manager and hostel is well organized.

Très bien ! Avec petit dej (qu’on peut emporter si excursion avec départ très tôt) et douches très propres ! A environ 10 minutes de la route principale du centre, tout est à payer en cash !

Absolutely wonderful place, everything about it was first class and as an older solo lady traveller I met so many wonderful people which made my stay even more perfect ❤️❤️

Absolutely loved my experience with Mamatierra! The breakfast was a solid 10/10, the staff were always super friendly, and the space was clean and cute. It’s a 10 minute walk from the main street but an easy walk and nice if you want to be away from the noise and business. Couldn’t recommend Mamatierra more for your stay in the Atacama!!

Such a great hostel, only a short walk from the main street! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and helped us book local tours which were great! The breakfast was amazing, and even better that it was included in the stay! Overall a nice, clean and safe place to stay!

Super pleasant chill vibe hostel with well equipped and clean bathrooms, kitchen, tea supply, places to hang hand washed clothes etc. Breakfast also absolutely lovely and Vicente was so kind with me, helping me practice Spanish and then easily switching to English when I was too tired and Portuguese with other incoming guests - he’s a rockstar!

It’s extremely overpriced but I guess so is everything in San Pedro. The photos make this place look amazing but in reality it’s nothing l special. The chill out area was minimal and very dark. The staff are amazing though 🤍🌀

Very clean hostel, not a very sociable atmosphere

Super helpful staff, free breakfast, clean toilets and showers, well equipped kitchen. Only a short walk into town. It’s a quieter hostel that doesn’t have loads of communal spaces, although for most people that’s no bad thing, given all the early starts and full day excursions you’ll be doing in San Pedro.

Clean and fully equipped hostel. Towel, soap and shampoo are provided. Very good breakfast (Pancake, Fruit, Eggs, Bread, Yoghurt, Cereal, Ham, Cheese) They also provide a sandwich and snacks if you leave early before the breakfast time.
