- Their was 3 cockroaches in the room, messy kitchen food in the bottom of the sink dirty cups and cutlery, the showers were feral I had to wear shoes, the “ aircon “ in the room didn’t work the list could go on n on but I’ll stop their

+ We stayed in a Room for what was €145 (about AUD 245) per night, and we were extremely disappointed. The room did not have a sink or a private bathroom — instead, the showers were shared on the hallway like at a public pool, which was very inconvenient. The air conditioning unit above the bed had clearly not been maintained for a very long time. It was full of dust and mold, and when I turned it on I had a severe allergic reaction that required emergency medication. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience — never again!!!

- No me gustó que fui a preguntar por un ventilador ya que hacía un calor insoportable y se me rieron en la Cara diciéndome que en Sydney los hostel no tiene. Aire acondicionado

- Everyone was unfriendly and was very hard environment to meet people.

- 1). Noise is an ASSET of this property: Noise comes from every corner of the Pacific House caused by "long-term" guests, and the short time visitors speaking Latin American. 2). AUD 55/bunk bed from 09/22-26/2025. However, I paid AUD72/bunk-bed/night from 09/26-10/06/2025, staying in 10-bed room with a very limited space, coupled with (i) mess; (ii) bad smells of luggages, shoes, clothes, etc. I was really happy escaping from the said room and the Pacific House this morning (10/05/2025) 3). Inappropriate social behavior is another issue here. Public areas in the house is not the Private Property of the gangs there (long-term guests). They took over all public areas for their own parties and gathering without care of the people around.

- Ich war schon schon in vielen Hostels, überall auf der Welt und in jegliches Preisklassen und kann sicher sagen, dass das das schlimmste Hostel ist, in dem ich jemals war. Wir hatten ursprünglich 7 Nächte gebucht und haben nach 2 Nächten abgebrochen und sind in eine andere Unterkunft (dank dem guten Kundenservice von Booking haben wir für die restlichen 5 Nächte auch unser Geld wiederbekommen) - Personal unprofessionell und unfreundlich (bis auf eine Dame an der Rezeption) - dauerhafte Geräuschkulisse durch rumschreiende Leute und laute Musik von morgens bis abends - es wohnen hauptsächlich Franzosen in dem Hostel, die dort langfristig wohnen (work and holiday), die sich überhaupt nicht benehmen können und so tun als würde ihnen das Hostel gehören - respektlose Bewohner, die keinerlei Gefühl für Hygiene haben. Wirklich einfach nur ekelhaft - die schlimmsten Betten die wir jemals in einem dorm hatten - das Zimmer war super dreckig und es standen so viele Sachen von Leuten rum, die dort eigentlich gar nicht mehr wohnen (Schuhe, Lehre Plastikflaschen, kaputte Koffer) - es wurde im Gebäude geraucht???? - das Personal gibt keine fucks über irgendwas und sind bei der dauerhaften Party in dem Hostel ganz vorne mit dabei

+ Bien situé et de nombreuses activités proposées

- Extrêmement sale ! Du bruit jusqu’à plus de 3h du matin, cuisine beaucoup trop petite, les lits font du bruit et pas du tout solide et enfin la seule et unique prise électrique usb fait un bruit très étrange quand on branche quelque chose. On dirait une colonie de vacances 100% française.

+ Chambre spacieuse, plus de rangements que dans la plupart des auberges, personnel très gentil, auberge très jolie et petit déjeuné compris

- La chambre était mal isolées (on entendu beaucoup la rue et beaucoup de courants d’air). L’eau se répandait partout dans la salle de bain lorsqu’on prenait sa douche. Le rideau de la fenêtre à côté de mon lit était mal monté (je ne pouvais pas le fermer)
