The hostel is abit tired and worn out but wouldn’t change that, best hostel I’ve stayed in whilst I’ve been in Australia, such a humble place to be and everyone is friendly and welcoming and wants todo things and hang out together, very social and a happy place to be, definitely worth the experience, free use of surfboards and can see the waves from the terrace, excellent location

Lots of washing at the bottom of the stairs, …potential hazard and in my friends room, the fan was caked in so much dust she didn’t want to turn it on. Otherwise staff extremely friendly, proficient and professional.

The hostel was very unclean and we had to sleep on a mouldy mattress, four people had come and gone from the room and it was not cleaned once. there was mouldy smelly underwear stuffed under the bed which had not been removed. when we checked in the room still hadn’t been cleaned, none of the lockers closed. there was flys and cockroaches in the kitchen. toilets were falling apart and very unclean. the best part of our stay here was checking out. Would not recommend to anyone.

Great location and price. Staff work hard however it is not the cleanest of hostels. Bugs in the communal kitchen and the rooms don’t smell great. Also offers free surfboards and bodyboards however the don’t have any leg straps so therefore you can’t use them. Pointless.

Es hat sehr gestunken. Toiletten waren okay. Zimmer sehr eng und sehr voll gestellt. Rezeption hatte schon um 20:00 Uhr zu. Check in hat trotzdem geklappt da Personal runterkam. Konnte dadurch nicht mit Karte zahlen an dem Check in Tag, sondern erst beim Check out. Lage super, aber ein allgemein nicht der beste Ort, um zu übernachten.

It was a very chilled hostel, a bit outdated but it's got a lot of history and nice long termers

In a really nice location, close to the beach, bars and nice restaurants, however the 2 showers I used didn’t have hot water for 4 days. Other than that it was a good stay and would probably stay again!

We stayed only one night, in a private room, but my impression was very positive. The room was clean and had everything we needed! The staff was also super friendly and welcoming. Location is awesome. Nice balcony and rooftop areas. The kitchen was not too clean, but that is definitely due to the other guests not cleaning up after themselves. We were really happy and would definitely stay again :-)

I really wasn’t impressed with this hostel. The place wasn’t very clean and the room I was staying in had practically no natural light. People staying there seem to be mainly long term and aren’t very friendly. The only positive part of my experience was talking to the lovely receptionist.

Worst and dirtiest hostel I've ever stayed at. Location is great but everything else is frustrating. Old, smelly, filthy and disgusting place.

Todo estaba muy sucio, un asco. Entra y sale cualquiera, lo único bueno es la ubicación, no recomiendo para nada este lugar.

Lots of cucharachas, really dirty and bad people. Don’t recommend it at all

Location is very good and came at a good price however the cleanliness of the place was grim. Cockroaches, mold on bed and long termers leaving their work gear everywhere.

Not good vibes, rather depressive i would say

Was the grossest hostel we’ve stayed in so far. Had dirty socks left between the mattress and the bed frame and sand all in the bed from before i was there. room was really messy, with everyone’s things strung everywhere across the room and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. would never stay here again!! only redeeming things were the staff were super lovely and the location perfect.

In my opinion the reviews are exaggerated. It’s not the cleanest hostel ever but it’s fine. The only con is that it gets hot at night. The rooms and the corridors are being cleaned all the time so it isn’t the hostel’s fault , but the guests fault. The location is just perfect! Good common areas too.

Location of this is great and the kitchen and common area is big and spacious. If you dont mind noise, cocroaches and a loud talking non english speaking groups of people this is a place for you. The Receptionist is really nice, but the rest of the staff, which currently seems to be primarily spanish are not very friendly. Such a shame. For sort -of-cheap accommodation this is okey, but if you are there to relax, it is not a place for you. If you are 30+ probably stay somewhere else.
