Furchtbare Betten. Die Federn der Matratze sind die ganze Nacht zu spüren und es sind Haare auf dem Kopfkissen, sowie undefinierte Flecken auf Decken und Matratze. Die Straße ist die ganze Nacht lautstark zu hören. Absolut nicht zu empfehlendes Hostel.

20 Minutes to check in 2 guests was absurd. The kitchen opening at 7:30 AM is much too late for those trying to make an early start. The staff were friendly but not efficient. This hostel seems to be now run as a kind of doss house. The spirit which is so essential to positive feeling that I have experienced in so many HI Hostels in the world is missing here. Where are the posters, the sense of helping HOSTELLERS on their way? And what's with the AGIEST ""41+" as an age category??

The other people in the room smelled so bad that I wasn’t able to sleep all night , rather sleep in my car than to pay 60$ to have a sleepless night beside stinky people ! I thought I was sleeping with homeless people

I am very disappointed with this hostel. They charged my credit card twice and unfortunately now take no responsibility for it.

Cost was way too much for the quality of accomodation. Sheets with hairs on them, the most uncomfortable bed, loud hallways and non soundproof rooms. Way too much for the quality

nasty hotel the toilets are never clean, they leave human wastes after someone uses it and never saw someone cleaning plus they stole stuff from me and when I asked staff. for help they treated me with rude behavior always denied any responsibility, a really nasty hostel I do not recomment it

This nasty racists place is not worth your money, they even ask you for your nationality while booking so they can decide how to treat you. i booked my husband into that septic of a place and he had to sleep IN THE LOBBY!😡😡😡😡😡 CAUSE THEY WOULDNT LET HIM IN! then REFUSED TO REFUND ME! avoid this place even if its listed free!🤮🤮🤮🤮 if you have any pinch of color to you avoid this septic tank

The staff is really nice, but this place is just so dirty. Cancelled my stay after one night cause I didn’t feel comfortable or save.

Horrible hostel. Had to upgrade to a private room because there were so many sketchballs around it felt literally unsafe to stay in our dorm.

The location was great, easy to get everywhere. The beds were comfortable. The biggest issue was the bathrooms and cleanliness of the place was absolutely disgusting.

Decent value for money, good location

A nice hostel located perfectly in town. Kitchen is very well equipped and there is a nice garden area. Bathrooms could do with being renovated and check-in streamlined but overall an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here as a family of 6 using a shared dorm and a small one for the children and one adult. Facilities are great in kitchen, rec room etc - our preteen and teens loved it. Hostel is right on a busy highway, so care needed at door, and parking either some distance away (for free over night) or paid closer by. Interesting (good!) people, helpful staff. Bedrooms are adequate - hostel style bunk beds but linens provided for duvet and pillow, lockers for storage (bring a lock if sharing dorm)

The wifi didn't work in the room for my whole stay, as well as the tv.

Lovely old building with lots of character! Clean yet bare rooms, warm and quiet.

Not bad, but they definitely have a lot of room for improvement. There's little atmosphere and no organized activities to speak of, which is a shame as they have a pool table, foosball and darts. They have a huge kitchen, but the sponges are gross and look to be several months old, and it's clear that the drying towels are never replaced. Those are simple things that should be addressed daily.

Super dreckiges Zimmer, Bad und Küche.

The stay was disappointing. The washrooms were not clean, and the A/C wasn’t working properly, it only made a loud noise without cooling the room. It was uncomfortably hot inside, and I had to keep the window open just to get some air. Overall, not a comfortable experience.

This hostel is okay I guess. I found the check in process a bit slow. The facilities were all good and the room was also fine. Nothing special really. You get what you pay for!

Somewhat friendly vibes. Very dirty facilities. Ok value. No activities. Great location in downtown. fyi parking is $10CAD.

Very bare bones hostel, gets pretty noisy with all the traffic, front desk person was not very helpful and slow. Only book this place if you’re in dire need of a bed.

Nice enough, free towels were a bonus!

Kelowna only has two budget hostels, both poorly rated. I chose HI Kelowna for its slightly better location. Compared to HI Québec City, HI Vancouver or HI Banff, it's far worse: dirty pillow, unclean shelves, mold in the kitchen, rotten food in fridges, bugs in the room, loud A/C, broken socket, and many rundown areas. For the price, the service and cleanliness are unacceptable.
