Hostal Palohe Taganga

Ich war während meines gesamten Aufenthalts der einzige Gast, was ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen kann. Das Hostel ist großartig! Es ist so schön eingerichtet, geräumig und sehr sauber. Obwohl ich der einzige Gast war, wurde täglich alles geputzt. Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und fürsorglich, und hatte viele gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Ich habe mich dort wie zuhause gefühlt. Ich empfehle dieses Hostel zu 100% weiter! :)

Beautiful, clean and cozy hostel owned by amazing people. There was free coffee every morning and a large roof top terrace to enjoy it on! Great location and good advice on where to eat and what to do around Taganga. I would always come back here!

I enjoyed two peaceful and relaxing days at Hostel Palohe. The hostel was quiet for the couple of days I was there but the couple running the place were so friendly, talkative and willing to give me many recommendations and advice. There is so much care put into this hostel- it is clean, beautifully decorated, and has several spaces for relaxing. The kitchen is also fantastic- full equipped and probably the best hostel kitchen I have used! I Would absolutely come back and highly recommend!

Ein sehr gemütliches Hostel, jedoch nicht sehr sozial. Die Lage ist sehr gut, ca 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Strand entfernt. Eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Familie die das Hostel betreibt, ich würde jeder Zeit wieder herkommen! Danke!

Jose was lovely and welcoming, gave us lots of recommendations and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Good location too!

José (le patron) et sa femme m ont fait un accueil royal ! J avais réservé pour 2 nuit et je suis resté 8 jours au total ! Ils ont été d une grande bienveillance a mon égard et les moments de partage que j ai vécu avec eux resteront inoubliables ! De loin le meilleur hostel que j ai fait en Colombie.

I enjoyed my time in palohe so much that I even returned another time and really don’t want to leave anymore. The people are incredibly lovely and welcoming so you feel just like home, which is quite special. It’s close to the ocean, the social atmosphere is very wholesome and the kitchen is great. I definitely recommend coming and staying for a while to explore the beaches :) muchas gracias por todo!

Very nice hostel but close to places with loud music. So even on Sunday it took some time to fall asleep. However, the owners are super sweet and I would come back!

what should I say.. it's a wonderful place. very calm and quiet, beautiful kitchen and surrounding, pool and rooftop. Owners are super friendly, speak very clear Spanish so you can easily follow and they help you whenever they can 😍 I would definitely recommend staying there. 🙂‍↔️water to refill and the location is close too everything! 🤗🤗

this hostel was the last stop of our trip and by far our favorite. José is so kind and welcoming and really wants you to feel at home. the vibe is lovely with nice outside communal areas, art, plants, hammocks, a well stocked kitchen set up, and a rooftop terrace. it was definitely on the quieter/smaller side, but in a really good way. would love to return !

Great location close to everything! Friendly owner. I used the pool a lot. Town can be a bit noisy so bring earplugs. Bed was a bit hard for my liking. Note that Google/Apple maps do NOT show correct location..address is correct but hostal is actually one/two streets north of map location. Call owner for exact location and info on how to get there safely!

Amazing hostel, 10/10! José and his family are incredibly kind and make you feel at home. Beautiful rooftop, nice pool and lots of hammocks. WiFi was great (minor issue in the last bed of the last room). One of the best equipped kitchens I’ve seen in Colombia – cooking was so much fun. Great AC at night. I also forgot something important and José went above and beyond to help – truly outstanding hospitality!!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez José et sa famille. Ils nous ont très bien accueillis et on s’est senti comme chez nous ! La cuisine est très bien équipé, les chambres ont la clim et sont très propres ! L’hostel est idéalement situé dans une rue tranquille pas loin de la mer !

Bous avons été super bon accueilli par José et sa compagne dans l'hôtel ! Ils sont adorables etvo us onseillent avec plaisir. L'hôtel est juste génial avec son immense terrasse sur le toit, la cuisine et propre et il y a de quoi cuisiner et il y a même une petite machine pour son sport. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel, c'est idéal pour se reposer !

I felt right at home the minute I arrived at Casa Palohe! The whole atmosphere is very calm and beautiful and yet I met amazing people there. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful ❤️

such a haven. the hostel is smaller (as in number of beds) but we met so many nice people. big kitchen was nice after many days on the road with only café food. lots of common areas, the best owner who was so helpful, free water which is always nice, clean, several nice common spaces. as to location, taganga is so small that nothing is ever far away, but this was only a small block from the beach which was nice.

Juan, Jose and his wife have been our best hosts in Colombia (and that says a lot!). They are very special and caring people. We felt welcome and really at home from the moment we arrived. The hostel is super nice, has great common areas, well equipped kitchen, and the rooms pristine clean and well maintained. Absolutely loved my stay there!
