De accommodatie is erg vies, de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes kunnen wel een poetsbeurt gebruiken. De kamer zelf stond blank van de lekkende airco, er viel zand vanuit het plafond naar beneden waardoor de bedden bezaaid waren met zand. Het personeel is druk met vanalles behalve mensen helpen, inchecken duurde 1,5 uur en wisselgeld hadden ze niet waardoor we daar onze gehele verblijf naar moesten vragen. De eigenaar smeekte ons nog geen review achtertelaten. Abaoluut geen aanrader!!!!

They wouldn't let me check in during check in hours and said my bed was sold but I can have the same bed for three times the price now. Volunteers were friendly and helpful but the person running this hostel is a crazy person who hung up on the phone and started to pathetically gaslight and threaten me on whatsapp. Wouldn't go there if I were you.

Just run. This is the dirtiest hostel I’ve ever been in. Everything smelled bad, the kitchen and the toilets were disgusting, you could hear all the noise in the street every night, the AC in my room was barely breething. The light in my room and in the bathroom was allways flickering. But the smell was the worst. I could not eat breakfast there allthough it was free - the first day I’ve seen a girl pulling out a hair from the coffee and that was enough. They have zero activities for guests.

The hostel is in very bad conditions, rooms are small with old beds. They change the rate last minute prior tho NYE to triple the price. Decent breakfast but that’s all.

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen. In den zwei Tagen, an denen ich da war, habe ich keine Putzkraft gesehen und es gab in mehreren Bädern Ameisen und viel Sand in der Dusche. Die Bar war leider nicht geöffnet und auch sonst gab es nicht wie angegeben Aktivitäten vom Hostel. Das Dorm für 4 Personen ist bei voller Besetzung viel zu klein, um die Rucksäcke zu verstauen.

DIE SCHRECKLICHSTE HERBERGE IN MONTANITA! Der Besitzer ist nie anwesend, er spricht kein Wort Englisch, obwohl er scheint, seit Jahren dort zu arbeiten, und er hat immer Kleidung ist ungepflegt und spielt keine Rolle. Im Bad hatte es Scheißhaken, und im Chill-Bereich der zu klein und unbequem ist, hatte es auch Krabben und andere haben viele andere schlechte Erfahrungen, aber leider man max 500 Zeichen

The staff here were great and very helpful! The property felt very unclean. In the one room we had there was a plastic tarp on the roof to stop water dripping that was moldy and disgusting. Room smelled like mold and the other room we had smelled very musty and the whole place felt super unclean. Would definitely not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone else. Leider bin ich um 22 Uhr angekommen und meine Reservierung gab es nicht. Ich hatte ein Privatzimmer gebucht und eine Bestätigung von wesbite. Also musste ich mir was neues suchen.

We booked three nights in a private room. However when we arrived they had messed up the booking and only space in a dorm for the first night. Once we put our stuff in the room we got told, whether we are aware that the price has increased for the 2&3 night from 7 to 17$ per person. Eventhough we made the booking for 7$. Then we left for an hour to figure out a new place to stay for the 2&3 night. When we came back the told us that now the dorm got booked by someone else so we had no place to s...

Leider war es recht dreckig und das Wasser und WLAN hatte nicht richtig funktioniert, zudem hat das Bett gestunken. Die Küche ist auch Sperlich ausgestattet und nicht wirklich sauber. Personal war nett und hilfsbereit.

Buena relación precio vs calidad

Me gusto mucho el hospedaje, buen anfitrion, lo voy a recomendar.

Hospedaje muy tranquilo, contaba con aire acondicionado, céntrico a la playa. José nos recibió muy bien y nos aclaró algunas dudas que teníamos. Recomendado👍🏼

Buen ambiente, comodidad y seguridad

El lugar tiene buena ubicación, está alejado del ruido, por lo que es placentero descansar. José y los voluntarios ofrecen un buen trato y su cordial servicio a cualquier necesidad de los vacacionistas. Es un sitio seguro, tanto dentro como fuera del hostal. En general se disfruta de buen ambiente, recomendado!!

the pictures didn't match the truth. the dorm stank so bad you couldn't sleep, there were ants on the bed. everything was a bit dirty. I wouldn't recommend this hostel, especially not for the price, Sorry

Dieses Hostel ist eins der Besten in denen ich je war. Anfangs wollte ich 5 Tage bleiben, geblieben bin ich 3 Wochen. Das Hostel ist sehr sozial mit großem Gemeinschaftsraum und die Dorms sind auch top. Die Lage ist 3 Minuten vom Strand und 5 vom Zentrum. Perfekt um in Ruhe schlafen zu können, aber trotzdem zentral. Das Beste waren aber die Mitarbeiter die einem ein sehr familiäres Gefühl gegeben haben. Ich wurde zum Beispiel ständig zum Essen eingeladen. Und das alles zu einem Top-Preis! 1...

Iguana Beach tiene el ambiente que uno quiere encontrar siempre en un hostal, tiene una gran energía, se conocen personas todo el tiempo, todos los días hay algo para hacer y está bien ocupado. Además, el staff es lo máximo y Luis siempre está pendiente para hacer la estadía más cómoda para uno, es un gran host que ayuda con todo lo que necesites.

I definitely recommend Iguanas. The hosts are genuinely nice and inviting and help you feel at home. It's great value for money and the facilities are cleaned regularly. Beds are comfy. I was there during off season, was pretty empty so can't really attest of the party vibes.

We enjoyed our stay at Iguana beach house. The personal was very friendly, the location very close to the beach and the city centre. The staff tried to made us comfortable and gave us tips about montañita. Would stay here again! (Also for the baby kittens)

one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! definitely recommend if you come to montanita. the staff is super friendly and helpful, location is perfect, one minute walk from the beach but very quiet, right on the river

Super hostel , à deux minutes du centre mais à l’abris du bruit des boites de nuits. Bonne ambiance et personnel super sympa. Je recommande :)
