Taj Street Hostel

Great place to stay, has an amazing rooftop & extremely close to the Taj Mahal East entrance gate.

Excellent location! It is about a 7-10 min walk to the Taj Mahal (east gate). All beds have curtains for privacy, a light and a fan. The rooms have AC, but they turn them off throughout the day. If you ask, then you can just turn it back on. I think the rule is AC on 8pm-8am. The staff was very kind and even let me check out late. Great value!

It is not a hostel. It’s a family’s house who have converted rooms into guestrooms. A loud family too with little kids running and crying which you can hear through the thin walls. There was no atmosphere. We ordered food which gave us food poisoning. The car they organised to take us to the airport had seatbelts that didn’t work and the driver took the mick taking a 30 min break without telling us and kept trying to get us to stop at other times too. The hostel is very close by the Taj Mahal - you can reach it on walking distance. The staff is so nice and friendly, always there to help with anything. Definitely recommended

The guys at front desk were super chill and very helpful. They went beyond their duty to help me out when I direly needed it!! Place is very cozy as well.

This is a sweet little family run and owned hostel. Staff are absolutely amazing, they make you feel home. No pressure or commercial selling of any kind. They even allow you to check-in early and check out late if they’re not busy. The area does have insects and mosquitoes tho, so be prepared for that, overall happy with my stay,

Super auberge, le proprio et sa famille son très sympas, accueillant et serviable. J’ai discuté avec eux un long moment sur le rooftop, ce sont des gens très bien. Ça fait plaisir d’avoir des gens qui ne cherchent pas à t’arnaquer en Inde. C’est à 10/15 min à pied du Taj Mahal. La nourriture est bonne et safe 🙌

Such a lovely hostel and lovely staff. Taj Mahal is so accessible. Not the one for anyone trying to get involved in nightlife or meet lots of people but perfect for a small group who want to do the Taj and the fort. Really enjoyed my stay here, very peaceful.
