HiTide House

Really good location, but probably wouldn’t stay here again. Nice rooftop but closes at 11 pm. Room set up is very odd and lockers smell really bad. There should also be a bar to hang up clothes and more places to put your stuff around the room. 6/10. Definitely don’t stay here if you are looking for a young social atmosphere.

The place looks really cool, could have enjoyed my stay, but took me literally 1 minute after arriving in my room to find 3 bedbugs on and around my bed (2 dead ones on the floor next to the mattress, 1 alive one inside my pillowcase, walking around). There was many other signs of bedbugs infestation, such as eggs, little blood stains on the bedsheets, etc. They gave me back my money and I left, running away as fast as I could. I arrived super late snd left early the next day so it was hard to review but I would deffo come back snd bring friends

Poor or no wifi in dorm/ cr*p food at staff meals/cr*ppy bed clothes/ bunks designed poorly and a lunsafe esp on the lower bunk and very top 3rd bunk) terrace closed early in morning and early at night. Wouldnt go here again, left after one horrible night. Asked to switch the room because I was molested-not possible! Bad bugs, no fan in the room, so almost no air. Horrible bathroom situation and no curtains, which means no privacy. At least only wireless at the public area.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is right on the beach and there’s a rooftop where you can sit and look out over the ocean. The staff was very friendly and cleaning every day. It’s not a very social hostel everyone did their own thing mostly. You do have to go up very steep narrow stairs to get to the hostel once inside, then up more to get to the bedrooms so take that into consideration. The bathrooms could also use some updating they were kinda gross

This hostel has the perfect location. Every morning I would watch the sunrise with my coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day. Would be nice if they open up the terrace in the mornings but it opens around 11am. The private room is very spacious but a little annoying that there’s only one sink that you share with the entire floor. Most people are older or staying there a long time so not very social environment.

As a Solo female traveller, felt safe and welcome. Terrace was amazing to chill out. Hostel was so conveniently located right next to the beach. Chill vibes, definitely recommend :)

Great stay, nice location. Only issues would be not being able to pay with card on arrival(?) and the very noisy beds which were unrelated by creaky wooden planks, thank you and gracias

Great location. Nice vibe. Mostly surfers and surfers to be but all welcome. Beds and bedding can use an update.

+very nice volunteers (but of course they change every other week) +amazing location +amazing terrace -no toaster 😆 -shower often without hot water -creaking beds, better bring ear plugs!

Location and roodterrace is absolutely top. Kitchen and bath facilities are ok/good. Love to come back mostly because of the good atmosphere and location

Nice hostel next to the beach. Good kitchen and nice rooftop, great for meeting people. The only bad thing is the quality of the beds.

Stayed here for 7 days. Getting to know super nice people. The location was also nice. Highly recommended!

It was fantastic 2 weeks in a hostel is a prospect with concerns! But they were all allayed at hitide. The only slight issue was getting to sleep with the sound of the waves so close!! (Hahaha)

Einwandfreie Unterkunft.

We had a great time staying at this property. It’s in a great location right across the beach. The host is very accommodating. I accidentally booked it under the wrong day and he was very nice and let me change it to the correct day. The staff and other guests are all very friendly and nice. We also loved hanging out on the roof with great views! Overall a great stay and we’d go back!

Muy buen lugar enfrente a la playa con una vista e instalaciones perfectas. Tablas de surf a tu disposicion y el personal siempre buena onda. Si queres salir y hacer surf en gran canarias este es el lugar.

Had a great time here, ended up doing cool activities with other guests during the day, and the staff helped creating a great atmosphere at night. Would definitely recommend !

Literally right next to the beach and close to all essentials. And really spacious and clean inside. I’m definitely returning 👍

Right on the boardwalk with fantastic views from the kitchen and from the rooftop balcony. Super great vibe and the private room was spacious (wish it had a private bathroom but the views made up for that).

If you're looking for a safe, clean, and welcoming hostel that is right by the beach, go to HiTide! It is a social hostel with the most beautiful sun terrace and welcoming staff. Felt right at home!

this hostel deserves a top rate because the position is amazing, the boys from the crew are super cool and the rooftop is unique, but i have a complaint straight to the boss, go get some f****n decent matress please, i heard that in the Island you can find Spain's oldest ikea branch, starting from 50 € you can get them new.

I had an amazing stay at HiTide. It was super clean, good facilities and I met lots of fab people, the rooftop is an added bonus for sunbathing / catching up with people / drinks in the evening. The location is great, right on the promenade with an abundance of shops and restaurants.
