Saigon CuCu Hostel

the best best place to stay!! we were a group of 3 and stayed in a private room. the room was really clean, the bathroom was quite modern and the owner was lovely. we didn’t hear any street noise at all during our stay or at least it didn’t bother any of us. such a central location, close to a circle K and walkable to walking street. the beds were the comfiest we’ve had whilst travelling!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Saigon CuCu Hostel. My boyfriend and I booked a private room with a balcony. We even got upgraded to a room with two beds which was spacious. The owner Moon is very friendly and hardworking. She’s there everyday and loves what she does. She even took the time to answer some of my questions about what it takes to run a hostel. Be aware that it loud on the balcony because of all the traffic. I like how it is walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants, and bar...

The place was clean, and the staff were really great. Walking distance to all the excitement, the main street is busy so anyone facing them you do hear the traffic all night. Room was large enough for my family of 3. We were on the 5th Floor, it is a hike to get up there. But the staff helped get luggae up top so that was a huge help.

It was fine, what you would expect for a cheap private room. Location wasn’t super close to the centre, but walkable, although still on a main road so very loud. Obviously not really an atmosphere, as there are no social areas and all are private rooms. Bigger downside was that the AC in my room started severely leaking meaning I had to turn it off so it only left me with a wall fan, not ideal. Bigger plus was that there were toiletries in the room which came in handy as my luggage was delayed...

KINDEST HOST EVER! We stayed at a 8-bed room on our SEA backpacking trip and the rooms were clean with a built in bathroom. It’s got AC / clean sheets / laundry / essentially everything you need. She’s the sweetest Vietnamese lady with a dog that runs away every time you try to pet it 😂 Def recommend as it’s also got a prime HCM location!!!

C’est hôtel est très bien situé, la chambre était tout à fait correct et la dame de l’accueil était vraiment adorable, aux petits soin pour moi !! Je recommande !

Die Besitzerin war nett und hilfsbereit und der Hund war super süß. Es war leider sehr herunter gekommen, war nicht wirklich geputzt und es gab Schimmel im Bad. Unsere Ansprüche sind nicht sehr hoch, aber die wurden eindeutig nicht erreicht. Die Toilette hat nicht wirklich gut funktioniert. Es hat nicht den Bildern entsprochen. Für eine Nacht ok/machbar aber für mehr nicht empfehlenswert.

Pretty good place, little more expensive that what we’d normally pay. Rooms weren’t the BEST however did the job. Was clean too

Great central location, just moments away from loads of restaurants, cafes and bars. Our host really made our stay special - no request was ever too much and she always had a huge smile, which was quite infectious. Would definitely stay here again when in HCMC

It's very basic and the location is very noisy. The bunk beds are prison level with no personal light and the bathroom is in the room, divided only by foggy glass but you can see in. They keep the AC off during the day so it can get very hot in the room. Manageable if your expectations are low. I chose the 6 bed mixed option.
