We booked here as a cheap stay which it served its purpose for. However the beds were the least comfy we’ve had in a hostel before and the bunk beds looked poorly built and that they could break under any significant weight. The staff seemed like they were trying to be helpful but didn’t really interact or provide any useful information. They also played loud music without inviting anyone to join in or socialise. No social atmosphere and there was no security or locks on the doors.

I can appreciate this place is very new, however the vibe of the place is very strange. There is no facilities catered to travellers, the staff (who was lovely) didn’t know how to answer most of our questions and kept coming in and out of the dorm room for nothing in particular. The single beds 3 in a row is very off putting - 0 privacy. It has good potential but it’s just not there yet.

Lovely little hostel. Great value for money, clean and tidy. During my stay very social by the little outside area often people were sat around chatting which was lovely, I stayed 4 nights and had this vibe each night. Staff are friendly. Great location. Recommend.

One Minute is a new hostel which is in a great location and has great potential. We were in the private room which was clean and secluded and had AC.

I had a great experience staying at this hostel. The place is very clean, and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. He assisted me with everything I needed and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The hostel is located in a vibrant area, which makes it very convenient. It’s also very affordable and offers great value for money. Although it’s still new and doesn’t have many reviews on Hostelworld yet, I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was.

This place is amazing, good social vibes, perfect location to Mirissa beach, very clean. Jad the owner is very friendly and always ready to help you and give you advice, he want you to have a good experience in Sri Lanka. I'll stay 100 times here again

I had an amazing stay at this hostel in Mirissa! It exceeded all my expectations in every way. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, and a variety of great restaurants. It made exploring the area so convenient. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure guests had a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mirissa

New hostel, that was just opening in a few days when I arrived. The owners seem to be good people that let me stay there anyway. They provided me with everything I needed, toilet paper, soap, towel. The hostel is walking distance to Mirissa beach. Clean and with plenty of lockers in the room. I also got a key to lock the door. Very pleased with my stay.
