Re-Born

2 rooms, 14 people and just 1 toilet inside (and 2 other outside)..not really confy going to external toilet when is cold. The 2 toilet outside are dirty, with big webs. Kitchen and chill area outside also dirty (several beer cans left around + cigarettes and other stuff) Staff is great. In my opinion this hostel don't deserve 9.0. Never!

Raul and his wife are really nice hosts, but Romania is such a poor country. All the buildings are worn out. In and out. The hostel smelled on moisture and mold. Especially the bathroom. I did not dare to use it. The hosts were really nice and they did the best they could with what they had, but I need to be realistic with my review. All the best.

I wasn’t able to get any sleep in this place because the 8 bed dorm had no AC, so after five hours of sweating in bed trying to fall asleep I left at 5am in the morning

Loved the place, the staff there were awesome and especially the vibe ! I really loved it !

Fine hostel but very overpriced. It costs me as much as a hostel in Budapest. Owner is super kind though.

I'm sorry to give a low rate review but I think that the actual 9.2 is extremely high and creates false expectations. Good point are the staff, very welcoming and available; location and rooms are not that dirty, quite large and have lockers. For the rest the structure inside is old and improvised; the only inside bathroom is not that clean, shower not safe and hot water doesn't come regularly; the other bathrooms are outside and there's no heating inside; Half power sockets don't work; etc.....

Great location and Bruno is a very friendly, helpful person who is easy to reach on WhatsApp. However, my stay was dampened by plumbing issues-no hot water and very weak pressure at first. Bruno was polite and tried to troubleshoot, but it wasn't fixed immediately for me. It was also very quiet with no social vibe; I was alone for two nights until another guest came and joined me, though I half expected it for January, but not this quiet.

Sitting down, turn over in the night, sitting up, grabbing my phone, everything was a loud creak that other rooms could probably hear. They do offer free tea and coffee which is nice, and a map of the city with best spots to visit.

The staff were friendly over the phone and via email but I didn’t get to meet them in person. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning or fan in the private room and I couldn’t sleep because it was too hot and there was a mosquito in the room.

Very nice hostel with a chill vibe. The hostel manager, Hector, gave good recommendations for the city and was very welcoming!

Hostel owner was very cool-- gave a rundown of the city and a free map, gave us local Palinka shots, and took me to a local bar

I had a delayed bus, and Hector, who's really nice, stayed until late in night to welcome me. I highly recommend!!

Cheap hostel, location right in the center and the manager was awesome and incredibly helpful. The hostel has all the basics you need however it was quite small and needed some upkeep and cleaning, there were stains on the bed and things didn’t feel super clean.

Amazing hostel experience everyone should stay here! Hector was incredibly helpful sharing some of the best advice on the city and where to go! He was incredibly helpful and an amazing host. The ambiance is very good as well with an excellent outdoor seating area that is covered in case of rain. There is free coffee and tea as well as a kitchen. Very clean hostel and all guests were respectful and friendly. Location was also central and in a good place as well and property felt very safe.

I had an amazing time at the Reborn Hostel! I met other hostelers staying there, and our hostel host Hector took us out to the local nightlight scene that evening and shared homemade palinca with us! Thanks for an amazing visit to Timisoara, Hector and Reborn Hostel! Annie

C'est ma première expérience dans une auberge de jeunesse, et je suis très satisfait, Hector est au TOP il est gentil, souriant super aimable, j'ai passé un très bon séjour, l'auberge était très calme, nous étions 2 ou 3 au maximum pour cela que j'ai mis neutre sur Atmosphère. l'auberge est super bien placé. Il y a couette et duvet a dispo, possibilité d'avoir un linge de bain, c'est franchement, Hector fait un super plans des choses à voir

A great hostel overall.

Comfy bed, very well located, in the center but on a quiet street. Nice place in the courtyard to have a beer. Hector also gave a lot of tips on what go do and took us out for a drink:)

I arrived late in the evening, my bus was delayed. I got a message from Hector to check-up on me and make sure I arrive nicely. I stayed only one night, but I enjoyed it

Loved how it’s right next to the city center, the volunteers are very generous in terms of all the facilities there, and i had a good time with everyone there. Re-born is chill and that fits the vibe of the city perfectly. I think the bathrooms could be cleaner- dealing with bugs and using air fresheners. Beyond that it was great, thanks for letting me stay!

Was fine for two nights. Worst thing was the beds, which rocked and squeaked every time you or the person in the other bed moved

great place, Hector was super friendly and very helpful, amazing location, social hostel so easy to meet fellow travellers, but also quiet at night so perfect to rest after whole day of exploring, would defo stay again!
