Bad experience. If you want to have a pleasant stay in Cali, look elsewhere.

Great social vibe and events, but we left early due to severe mould in our private room. The smell was overwhelming, and with the window open for air, we lost privacy and security as it faced the common courtyard. I can’t speak for the dorms although, avoid private rooms until the mould issue is fixed.

I had a very bad experience. There were no bathroom doors when I got there and the whole place was under construction. Luckily they installed the doors at night but two days later almost every bathroom was closed for 24h because they were painting them. Breakfast had to be self-cooked. You would get two raw eggs and a little (plastic) bag of granola that you had to pick up at reception. A friend came at 10:10 and they wouldn't give them to her anymore cause she was 'too late.Wouldn't come again!

This hostel was nice, facilities were good, kitchen was clean as were the bathrooms. It felt safe, rooms were okay. We were the only guests who weren’t volunteers. This created a weird atmosphere. I also got asked to leave a named review (tried to bribe me) by a volunteer who I hadn’t met before. This felt weird and forced, might explain all the named reviews for this place

Confused at why this is so highly rated. When we arrived it was pretty quiet, with more volunteers than guests and it was extremely cliquey. Little bit of a walk from decent areas too. There's way better hostels than this in Cali!

Het hostel was prima, de kamer was in orde en er werden leuke activiteiten aangeboden. Ikzelf zou echter niet snel terugkeren. De sfeer past niet bij mij. Het hostel wordt gerund door vrijwel alleen vrijwilligers, die in Cali blijven alleen voor de salsa. In andere hostels in Colombia tot nu toe, vond ik de sfeer warmer en gastvrijer. Het ontbijt is inclusief maar erg karig.

It's fine for a stay in Cali. I found the atmosphere a bit strange. Lots of volunteers which often gets clicky. I'd probably try somewhere different if I went back. I did find the cleaning staff very friendly and helpful.

Oasis is a great hostel, clean and a great free breakfast. They also do free salsa lessons and there’s lots of activities going on that made my stay in Cali so much fun. The volunteers were are so kind and helpful especially Emma, she really helped me out when I had issues with my passport stamp being missing and helped me get it all sorted out.

Lo mejor fue la ubicación y el personal, Emma de recepción fue un sol y me ayudó en todo lo que pudo! El hostel en general tiene muy buen ambiente, si algo mejoraría es que no llega el wifi a las habitaciones y me acabe gastando todos los datos

Such a nice hostel, super clean, perfect to socialize and all the people there are so nice, especially the volunteers, special shoutout to Emma. Would come back and recommend 100%

Such a great hostel, it’s super clean and they have lots of things going on every day. We enjoyed the free salsa lessons! The staff are so lovely, Emma was helpful with local recommendations and Lorena was very welcoming. Breakfast is self serve and is good, the only thing I would say is for breakfast to be longer. Everyone is trying to make breakfast at the same time and it can get quite crammed. Such a minor thing tho! It’s a great place to stay :)

Chill hostel with an amazing vibe. The staff and volunteers are top-notch—Emma and Felicia made me feel completely at home and we had so much fun together. Great salsa lessons (both group and private). Good location, comfy beds, and hot showers. Breakfast is self-prepared but works really nice. Definitely recommend!

Oasis hostel was actually perfect. Me and my friend stayed in private room/shared bathroom. Everything felt clean and cared for the whole time. We loved the kitchen and eating space with hammocks. Also the staff/volunteers, sweet and chill. We took lessons outside the hostel but we could use the dance space with mirrors. Perfect for any kind of traveler, especially felt good as girls. Breakfast also great. So much great.

Had a great week at Oasis Hostel whilst I was in Cali! The area is maybe not as nice as San Antonio/Granada but its close to some popular Salsa schools and there's loads of restaurants nearby at Parque Del Perro. The rooms are quite nice as each bed comes with a charger, reading light and curtains. The hostle also comes with a fully equipped kitchen and they leave plenty of food out for breakfast everyday. Finally the staff are all super friendly and will make sure you have a great stay in Cali!

I had a blast at oasis cali ! I loveed staying here so much everyone was super friendly and i made the best friends ever ! The volunteers was the best part of it 🥺 they made my stay 100000% better huge shoutout to felicia , gabrielle , khalil and aurelie i love you guys !!! And will miss u so much ❤️

tolles hostel, sehr sauber und eine gute Möglichkeit um salsa zu lernen. Zudem viele Möglichkeiten um Cali selbst und andere Reisende kennenzulernen:)

It's a tiny lovely hostel. Only slept there for one night. But I think the Vibe there is very family-like. I personally prefer this hostel to the Viajero Hostel. Because it's smaller and still modern and social. And it's very affordable. I payed 18€ for a private room with private bathroom Special thanks to Tea for being a good receptionist! :) She's doing a good job.

This is a great hostel with good vibes. Felt like a small family. Only thing missing is a place to store things in the dorms. Other than that, would absolutely recommend!

We came to the hostel and felt directly like home. Everybody was so welcoming and kind. Straight after arriving we had our first bachata group lesson which helps a lot to connect. ( They offer from Monday to Saturday one salsa or bachata lesson for free.) We extended our stay for one more week. The whole hostel feels like a little family especially because of the volunteers like Aurelio, Sophie, Ane, Khalil and Gabriel…

Nice hostel and Jordan the volunteer made the stay a lot more enjoyable! :)
