+ El personal es muy agradable. No está muy alejando del centro caminando. Estación ADO a dos cuadras
- Estuvimos en la habitación privada. El baño estaba totalmente sin limpiar, con pelos de otras personas y todo salpicado. El suelo del baño tenía un lagarto pequeño muerto. Los suelos de toda la estancia (habitación, baño y ducha) estaban cubiertos de pelos cortos y enroscados, pero no uno ni dos, si no montones. Yo misma cogí una escoba y lo barrí.Por la meseta del lavabo, lo mismo, pelos de barba, pelos enroscados…un auténtico asco.Incluso en algunos sitios eran como las típicas bolas del desierto. El WC estaba sin limpiar también, lleno de pelos. El agua caliente dura exactamente 4 minutos. Ducharse dos personas sin que llegue fría es imposible. Los colchones de la cama son pésimos, se notan todos los muelles. La sábana bajera con la que visten la cama no es la de su tamaño, toda la noche se sale porque no alcanza bien. En la piscina no te puedes bañar porque está muy sucia. El sitio en general necesita limpieza profunda.

- El alojamiento no es malo solo que el último día deje mía cosas en el hostal ya que mi vuelo salía tarde, regrese y estaba haciendo algo de tiempo en un espacio donde no consumía nada, ni conecte mi cel y la esposa del dueño me comentó que su esposo le dijo que ya me tenía que retirar y no podía estar más ahí , me fui muy decepcionada por esa actitud.
+ Pésimo lugar, porque que cárcel, cobran de más, mucho cuidado.
- Colonia horrible, lugar súper descuidado, v nada recomendable, cuidado con la deshonestidad y malas prácticas de los encargados. La peor experiencia. Cuidado

- Bonjour, nous sommes arrivés ce jour dans l’hôtel et avons été désagréablement surpris. En effet, lors de notre arrivée les photos ne correspondaient pas à la chambre proposée sur le site. Dans cette chambre, la chaleur était étouffante. La propriétaire des lieux nous a indiqué qu’il fallait allumer la climatisation mais de faire attention car la climatisation coule, le lit est en dessous de cette climatisation. Nous avons donc été contraint de déplacer le lit au centre de la pièce. l’état global de la chambre laisse à désirer. Les murs sont abîmés défraîchie craquelé. Le plafond n’est pas terminé. L’électricité n’est pas aux normes des fils sont apparents. Il y a au-dessus de la douche une arrivée électrique en 220 V. Les équipements sanitaires notamment le lavabo sont cassés. Les meubles sont dans un mauvais état. La cour est en travaux. Il y a des sacs de gravats et des parpaings. Le jour de notre séjour, il pleuvait avec les travaux devant la chambre, nous avons marché dans la boue rendant la chambre salle car il n’y avait pas de tapis à l’entrée et pas de tapis de bain non plus. - The room smelled like mold and rotten wood, and does not have any windows or ventilation, and it's full of moskitos. They don't change the sheets. The mattress was very old and the metal springs hurt your body. The near by streets get very flooded even with the slightest rain, U will wet your shoes on dirty sewage water. Looks like nearby sewage it's not working at all. An employee accused me of causing the "hostel smell", and asked me if "I was talking medications". (She heard me earlier talking over the phone, about transporting medications, which i didn't carry with me.) Pretty low move of them. The receptionist is quite rude and I'm sure they were looking through my bags when I wasn't there. The place is dirty and dusty. They provide plastic glasses to drink water, but those are dirty as well.
I've been traveling almost for 5 months in México an this was the first place that charge guests to refill their water bottles. I've changed my planes and decided to left one day early and, despite I'd told them with more than 24h in advance and had paid with cash, no refund was offered, not even 1 peso. Just one toilet/shower for all guys. Charge you if after check out you stay in the property after 1pm for a day pass. Etc..A lot of "special rules" that I've never seen in the other hostel...

Although the hosts are nice and there were games for the evening, I wouldn't come back. The place is infested with mosquitoes. Never seen so many at once. It could also use some renovation because the place kinda looked like it is crambling on itself. In the girl dormatory, there's an opening near the ceiling that let water poor down on our stuff when it rained and the beds didn't have curtains. The shower curtain had a feet high of what I guessed were dirt stains and the pool was also dirty.
En mi opinión el mejor hostel para alojarse en Merida. Amabilidad,tranquilidad, camas cómodas con lockers, está casi en el centro y tiene un buen desayuno.
Excellent time at this hostel, the staff were so inviting and it was nice and quiet. Really held up its name at the "chill" hostel.
Very peaceful and wonderful atmosphere! I will be back.

+ Great for full time remote workers with serious wifi needs, coffee in the morning and quiet spaces. This isn't a party hostel, but you'll definitely meet great people, and have great conversations. I love the space design and how relaxing it was to come back from a long day outside to the freshness of the place. I loved their female dorms: beds so smooth, pretty bunks, great roomies, nice bathroom, clean installations! Spaciousness was key.
- As a regular hostel, a few things need maintenance. But just that.

- -Petit déjeuner assez léger si vous êtes un gros mangeur, vous avez droit a une salade de fruits avec soit des œufs soit une gaufre + supplément fourmis qui flottent dans une bouteille de miel datant du siècle dernier -Odeur très dérangeante dans la douche + très sale -Odeur d'humidité très désagréable dans la chambre + sol sale + matelas assez dur -Piscine inexploitable (remplie de feuilles)

Very quiet,basic,rustic, hostel with cute little yard, conveniently located very close to ADO bus station. Reasonably close to downtown. 14 min walk to autoprogreso bus station, 20 min walk to Plaza Grande, or very affordable cab or Uber or Didi services. friendly staff, cute dog, free basic breakfast. Place could use a deep clean in rooms, and in garden, and would be nice if the little pool was more maintained and usable. room a little bit dark, and mouldy, but old building.VERY chill/relaxing
+ Very closed to ADO bus station. The staff was really nice, good breakfast and kitchen was good enough to cook. Hot shower. And I have met nice guest there.

+ Next to Ado, 4-5min walk Chill and friendly staff, Good breakfast Initially i thought could be a dodgy area at night, but instead is quite chill, i did 2km walking at evening coming back from city centre between 22-midnight and no annoyance faced at night.
- A bit dirty, i found some blood in the blankets before sleeping in. I can deal with it but some people might not like it. Many mosquitoes and bugs around, need to bring repellent and use it twice a day at least. The shower smells a bit, i believe its a matter of humidity/not drying (reason why many mosquitoes might still stand around). Despite these cons, i would still stay there.

Lovely hostel! Definitely chill, outside of the busy city centre but still close enough to walk. Bus stop and ADO right outside, breakfast every morning, kind staff.
+ Es un alojamiento que está bien; las camas son cómodas con amplitud en las habitaciones, lockers incluidos. Y espacios comunes agradables. El personal es amable y atento.

+ Ich wurde äußerst freundlich empfangen. Die Lage ist top - direkt neben dem ADO Busterminal. Das Personal war stets freundlich und bemüht und hat mir immer weiter geholfen. Ruhiger gemütlicher Innenhof - ausgezeichnetes Frühstück!
