Nomad Hostel

Avoid this hostel if you want proper rest. The room was extremely bright and noisy the whole night and I could barely sleep. Staff did not care when I raised the issue and were rude throughout my stay. They were also very hasty and aggressive in chasing me out during checkout. One of the worst hostel experiences I’ve had. Come here if you want a bad experience.

My stay at the hostel was unpleasant. The lack of respect for others' rest was noticeable. Lights were turned on at any time, even in the middle of the night. People were constantly coming and going, opening packages, and making noise without considering those trying to sleep. Out of the four people in the room, none of us could rest properly due to the noise. Additionally, some guests snored very loudly, which made things worse. One of them even had a computer on, making bets, which was bad.

I had a very bad experiences with another hostel guest which made me uncomfortable to stay in my room & hostel. i spoke to th3 staff about this and they advised me that "there was nothing they could do as it wasnt under hostel policy". They wouldnt let me change beds and advised other guests that they werent aloud to either as a solo women travelling alone. They only kicked him off the premises once i advised i was going to leave. I wouldnt not recommend staying here!

Strange place. Felt like a sharehouse with strangers. Was stared at constantly. The same few people occupied the lounge area constantly, even sleeping on the couch to make it as uninviting as possible. Top bunk was ridiculously uncomfortable, had to jump off about halfway up. Bottom bunks all taken by long term occupants. No blinds on windows. Would heavily recommend Balkan Soul and am shocked this place has such a high rating

I wasn’t able to stay here! I called ahead of time to ask for a late check in as my bus from Sarajevo was delayed. Nobody picked up the phone after I called three times. Then 10 minutes later they attempted to call me and I picked up but the only thing I heard was the reception speaking to someone else. They then hung up. I went to the hostel after check in time and nobody answered the door. Very disappointed

Very bad on my opinion. It is an apartment turned into a hostel. There were cleaning items in the bathrooms all over. They were not so clean. Bed was very uncomfortable. I could feel the strings. Heater did not work. Cleanness was bad overall the whole place. And last but not least there was an grown up men sleeping in the common areas everyday and he sat there the whole day. The person at reception was very friendly, the only good thing I can say about the hostel. The room was a disaster. At 2 am, one of the guests was on a computer, making noise, answering calls, making bets, smoking, opening packages, coming and going, and turning on the lights. He even had a headlamp on, shining it on everyone. Nobody in the room could rest because of this person. It was horrible.

Vale solo la posizione, che è ottima. Le docce hanno solo una tenda che dà su uno spazio comune e devi appendere le cose fuori, camerata scomoda. Ho pure rischiato di rimanere chiusa fuori la sera perché hanno cambiato il codice alla porta. Risposta del receptionist: "sei stata fortunata, stavo per andare a dormire. abbiamo cambiato il codice nel pomeriggio, evidentemente sei uscita stamattina e non sei tornata". pessimo!

This hostel is an apartment. And it is used as what feels like a frat house with 18 year olds smoking and drinking. weird guy at reception who lied to me several times and then would try to deny his lies regarding laundry, entry code, and deposit. Would never return.

This cozy, home like hostel is nestled right on the bohemian street Skadarska, which is a lively area. There is one 6 bed dorm, one 10 bed dorm, and one private room. The hostel has AC. There were enough bathrooms around to use and a kitchen with most of what you might need to make a meal. The staff were all so kind, helpful, and friendly. The hostel was quite social and easy to connect with others. I would stay here again if I return to Belgrade!

I had such a great stay! The hostel is super-well located, spotless, and has everything you need. The staff really goes above and beyond- special thanks to Olivera for being so helpful! Also, definitely follow their local tips, the place they suggested were great!

I just stayed for one night, but I can recommend the hostel for sure! I checked in very late (even after the official Check-in time), but they made sure i got there safe and sound. Lovely hotel staff! The hostel itself feels more like a shared flat. If you have clean, quiet and friendly roommates its great! If not - get ear plugs as a backup ;) Thanks again!

Being in Belgrade was by far one of the best experiences in the Balkans. Not only because of the city itself, which is full of good and cool things, like good food, beautiful and friendly people, but mainly because of the Nomad Hostel. Oliveira, the woman who runs the property, is one of the most incredible hosts I've ever met in 14 years of traveling. She is kind, loving, welcoming, and super attentive. It was a really great experience at the Nomad Hostel in Belgrade. The people who work there were absolutely lovely! I felt very welcome and at home. In the evening you could just chill in the living room and watch TV together with the other guests. I recommend this place for everyone who wants to have a great and social hostel experience!

Everything was perfect! The location is very nice and in a very pretty area, the hostel staff is welcoming, helpful and kind, the other people that were also there were respectful and friendly, as a girl I felt really safe :)

This was the best hostel I've been too in years ! Absolute best ambiance, in the cutest street of Belgrade in the old town. I met amazing people, it's very lively and the hosts are awesome. I strongly recommend to anyone visiting Belgrade, you will feel at home and won't be alone for a minute if you don't want too :)

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, the comfiest bed ever and really great staff.

Very nice hostel with really friendly staff. All facilities were clean, and the beds very comfortable. Social element was pretty good too with lots of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Would recommend for sure

A beautiful and very welcoming space that makes you feel very at home. It's a small hostel with really kindkind owner, workers and volunteers in the center of the city. The nice lady at reception knows the city so well and can give you recommendations about anything! Really social place too. Come here if you're coming to Belgrade! Only improvements would be free towels (only 1€ tho) and card payment, but you can PayPal (which also charges 1€) or pay with Euro if needed.

Slažem se sa većinom recenzija. Odlično mesto u srcu Beograda, ima dosta prodavnica i kafića u blizini. Kupatila su čista, kao i sobe. Imaju kuhinju i mašinu za pranje veša. Osoblje je baš ljubazno (pozdravljam Oliveru i momka iz Italije na recepciji). Ako ponovo budem došao u BG, ja ću sigurno izabrati ovaj hostel, odnosno preporučujem ga svima.

If I return to Belgrade, I would absolutely choose this hostel again! Igor, the host, is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The atmosphere of the hostel feels like home, PS. The co-owner, ilubtza the dog, was unbelievable cute! The only slight drawback that keeps the hostel from being truly outstanding is that the toilet could use a bit more attention; it seems like it hasn't been maintained as well as it could be.
