Bed Bugs spotted! No sign of them on our mattress but found two adult bed bugs crawling along bed. I believe they just have crawled in from another room, this hostel needs to do a full fumigation and clean. Laundry services constantly in use or out of order. However, the on site worker was extremely helpful with sorting us with money to go to a laundrette and refund us with early checkout.

very bad, woke up with itching bites all over my body. looked under the matrass and there were all little cockroaches under the bed. (yes they can bite you) didn’t got anything in return. they just said it were musqujto bites…. the manager said they did something for the coackroaches: a day later i looked under the mattress and they were still there….. very bad hostel

Es war so furchtbar dreckig! Auch die Waschmaschine hatte kein warmes/heißes Wasser! Da frage ich mich, wie die Bettwäsche gewaschen wird. Aber viel dreckiger war die Küche!

Für den Preis Komplette Katastrophe! Sehr alt und runtergekommen. Personal sehr unfreundlich. Die Betten sind Mega klein und total unbequem man hat keinen vernünftigen Platz um seine Sachen zu verstauen. Überall hat es gestunken nach alter Oma Ich war 3 Nächte da und würde es niemals wiederholen. Wenn ihr die Möglichkeit habt geht in ein anderes Hostel :)

Don't go there! Aggressive employees forced me to pay money for an overnight stay that I couldn't use because my child wasn't allowed there. The place is full of junk, old furniture and worn out stuff. The pictures here do not show the truth. Gehen Sie nicht dorthin! Very expensive, very old sheets, room full of dust, garbage under the beds, dirty curtains and bathroom, kitchen, utensilios and tables.

Nice staff but unfortunately the place was way too dirty. There’s no where to sit as the seats are filthy and the bathrooms need a good clean. The price was way too expensive for the experience I had (106 dollars for two nights). The location is great just a shame the cleanliness really lets it down.

NEVER been to a filthier hostel. Kitchen and bathrooms are disgusting. I couldn’t get myself to cook in the kitchen because of how gross it was. Same with the pool. Water was cloudy from all the dirt in it. Overall the hygiene is just non existent. However! The atmosphere is good. Easy to talk to people and lots of communal space. Also, the staff is great. Especially the French girl in reception. Super helpful, positive and welcoming!

Only stayed one night - the general facilities, location and atmosphere were decent. However, I had 2 roommates who would not allow me to turn the air con, fan or open the balcony door due to the noise of the air con/fan and the increased likelihood of catching a cold. This meant that I had really low quality sleep and barely slept much. Staff couldn’t do much in terms of moving me to another room as it was quite late, but this was a really an uncomfortable experience for me.

The hostel is close to the bus stop, and close enough to the city center. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the aircondition keeps the rooms nice and cool. The bathrooms were fine. Most of the people staying here are long term residents and they don’t clean after themselves in the kitchen, and smoke a lot of weed in the common areas outside. As a backpacker passing through, I would not recommend other backpackers staying here if it’s only for a couple of days.

A lovely atmosphere but mainly long term travellers so would not recommend staying for a few nights as it’s not as sociable. There is a good communal space and the staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the kitchen is really dirty. Underquipped and cockroaches seen as well as raw meet being left outside. There doesn’t seem to be a management presence monitoring the cleanliness. Many people also smoke weed in the communal areas outside. I met cool people but wouldn’t stay again.

Det var väldigt stökigt och smutsigt. Speciellt i de allmänna utrymmen. Jag ville inte laga mat där eftersom att köket var så äckligt. Det ligger också en bit ifrån Airlies huvudgata där alla butiker ligger.

It is a nice hostel, with lots of space to hang out and a nice backyard. Also the rooms were quite spacious. The kitchen wasn‘t the cleanest and I didn’t like the atmosphere too much.

Only stayed for one night so can’t judge too much. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Rooms are quite small but not awful. Bathrooms didn’t feel the cleanest. Not too far out of town and a short walk to greyhound bus stop.

Proper old fashioned hostel, slightly underground vibes which was cool. The cockatoos that came to visit were lovely! The pool was lovely and the rooms were beautifully air conditioned. It was a bit of a walk to the main town though, maybe 15 minutes, but only a short walk from the bus station.

Super chill vibe, slightly old school hostel vibes but I liked it. The outdoor area is great. Great value

Das Hostel ist ca. 1,5 km von Zentrum entfernt. Es waren viele Langzeitreisende dort, die Atmosphäre war nicht soo sozial. Check in und check out ging sehr unkompliziert auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption. Es gab ein kleines Schließfach für Wertsachen in den Zimmern. Die Zimmer waren aber klassisch mit Schlüssel abschließbar, d.h. sie müssten manuell abgeschlossen werden und es kam vor, dass das Zimmer die ganze Zeit offen war. Aména the manager is the best! Very helpful and kind. I interacted briefly with other staff members and they were also enthusiastic and willing to answers any questions or inquiries we had during our stay

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Accomodation was great, the lower beds even had curtains! Bathroom was cleaned daily. And in general the place was simply great. Would definitely recommend it. Thanks!

Great hostel especially if you’re staying long term. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy and there’s plenty of storage space. I also really liked how the hostel is less commercial than other hostels so it felt more like a home

Probably my favorite hostel in my 5 weeks in my 5 weeks in Australia. This is like an old school type of hostel, very simple and social. There’s a lot of long terms, but they are friendly and included on many activities. One caveat is the noise, if you’re a light sleeper, this hostel might not be for you. Also lots of French, Italian and Spanish speakers, English seemed like the minority here.
