As a solo female traveler, the owner made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Im not sure if it were my tattoos that he mentioned or my kindness/vulnerability that made him feel invited to sexualize me, but it was not warranted. He uses conversation of spirituality to try to manipulate you. The “tour” he took me on on his bike was a ploy. A FUIR ! Nous avons réservé une chambre privée double qui sur les photos paraît tout à fait normal. Lors de notre arrivée on nous amène dans une vieille cabane toute cassée en bois les lates au sol et au murs avaient un espace de 1cm entre chaque, porte cassée, des fils électriques aparents clairement un débarrât sal et sans securite. Je cherche tjr cette chambre sur d’autres sites et ils ne la montre jamais. Après une longue négociation nous avons réussi à se faire rembourser ...

I don’t understand where the high score is coming from. Worst hostel I’ve stayed in, left after 1 night instead of 3. No airconditioning so crazy hot nights, not much electricity to charge your phone, weird beds without curtains, only 2 bathrooms (and so only 2 toilets). Hostel dogs barking for a long time in the middle of the night. Doors open randomly in room, anyone can get in. No security. Just the worst stay. Owner is nice though.

Le 1er soir il faisait super chaud et on était 8 dans la chambre du coup le 2eme soir la Clim a été mise, le 3eme et 4ème soir la Clim aussi avec moins de mondes dans la chambre. (Je suis pas un fin défendeur de la Clim à vrai dire). Mais le 5eme soir là proprio et venue prendre la télécommande de la Clim sans rien dire, genre juste venu sans rien dire pour cacher. Comme dirait l’éminent président Jacques Chirac : « This is not a method ». 2/10, corrigez le tir.

There were more people in the room than advertised which left me without a locker to put my stuff. The wifi only worked in one spot next to the reception desk. There was an echo coming from the common space so the rooms never felt quiet or private. The location is much further from the beach and the town than expected. There was one day when no one was working at the front desk so many people went without things they needed.

En cuanto a las actividades que realizamos, nos ofrecieron el tour a Corcovado y fue una experiencia increíble. Sin embargo, en el hostel había mucha carencia de limpieza (muy relacionada con que permitían entrar a los perros y los gatos a todos los sitios). Además, estaba a 25 minutos andando de Uvita.

Honestly bad… the rooms were so small, only two showers in the whole hostel, staff was not really welcoming nor kind, no keys for the rooms, left it open the whole night ? The smell in the room was really bad. Also pretty far from the nice stuff in Uvita. Yea no I would really not recommend the place. We booked 3 nights but stayed only one and went back to our prior hostel …

Not good, staff were incredibly unhelpful. Was told they work ‘2-6’ after one evening no one was around to help us get a taxi in a rain storm we had to knock on their door for help. Coffee and fruit was promised in the morning which there wasn’t on the first morning and only coffee the second. Wifi was also down the first day. If you are looking for helpful staff - avoid

The hostel was great and had an overall great vibe. Everything was cleaned frequently, there was a lot of help with excursions, and there was a bar with a live guitar player on one of the nights. Very good choice of hostel especially for the price!

I loved this place! it was quiet when I was there but I didn't mind it. The kitchen is very nice and well stocked. One of the best showers I've ever had! Cesar is very nice and helped me out with tours and stuff. Beds are nice, lots of hamacs. 20 min walk to the beach :)

Cheap dorms, however too far away from everything else and there wasn’t really any vibe going on. I couldn’t get in touch with the hostel prior during my stay. I wouldn’t recommend.

Great hostel! 20/30 min walking from the beach. Beautiful and friendly people working there, felt like home. They also provide a lot of tours for the area.

Such a lovely place, owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming, the hostel is beautiful and has everything you need. 10/10

un des meilleurs hostels! pour le prix c’est incroyable. bonne ambiance, propre, personnel trop sympa & animaux mignons. bonne cuisine et salles de bain. proche de la plage. il fait juste chaud dans le dortoir malgré la clim

Nice hostel, a bit far from the beach the closest one is paid entry and it's still about a 20 minute walk. Really hot in the rooms at night but comfy beds. Good kitchen. They offer services like surf classes but it was a bit unorganized so I couldn't do it in the end.

Nice location with only a 15 min walk to the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly and everything was kept clean.

旅馆靠近海边和公园，地理位置优越，工作人员友好，有免费的糖果～院子很大，你可以在那边发呆，总之这是个值得停留的地方～

Great value for money, free coffee, good kitchen area and lovely hammocks. Really enjoyed our stay at this small slice of Uvita!

非常好，就是离开车站需要走路20分钟，不过已经是最方便的hostel了，提供的旅行都是最优惠的，有自行车租，可以洗热水澡，非常舒适，多住了几天

loved my stay here, would highly recommend! it's in between the jungle and the beach, and you can rent bikes there so it's no problem to get to either of them. there's a supermarket at about 5min by bike. but the best thing about the place is the warm, laidback and welcoming staff.

Luminosa was amazing:) So much common space to hang out, kitchen was well equipped and clean and the rooms had pretty strong fans. Most of all the staff was so kind and friendly, made getting around a new city so easy:) Thanks Cesar and Sierra you were awesome

The best hostel I stayed at in Costa Rica!! Everyone that worked there was so kind and helpful! I broke my knee one day and they helped me to get to the doctor and get my medicine. Great place to stay with great people!

Es un hostel muy comodo, muy accesible a distintos comercios y playas. Muy acorde precio calidad. Volveria a alojarme ahi.
