Slo Lyon les Pentes

I stayed in a lot of hostels and I really disliked this one. Unfortunately my flight was delayed over an hour so I got to the hostel much later. By the time I got in my room it was after midnight which is already stressful trying not to disturb people. Get on my bed (top bunk) and almost slide off because the bed isn’t even made. £25 and they couldn’t be arsed to just put the sheet on the bottom. The room stank. I just think for the money, they really could have just put the bedsheet on

Geen gordijntjes, dus geen privacy. Geen ventilatie in kamer, het raam moet open 's nachts, veel lawaai van buiten en koude. Vloeren kraken enorm en de deur valt luid toe. Bedconstructie vol stof en vuiligheid. Enkel het beddengoed wordt ververst. De douches en toiletten zijn enorm smerig, dringend renovatie nodig! Jammer kon dit niet gecompenseerd worden met de sfeer, want die is er niet. Ieder zit op zichzelf. Ik kom hier niet meer terug. Personeel was vriendelijk!

Dorm was like sauna. Ther is no ac and it was wery hard to sleep

Gutted with my stay here as loved Lyon as a city. Maybe better for others but beds had no curtains and mine was facing the door so when people come in middle of the night you are just met with noise and light. No AC so it’s super hot and when you want to wear less at night and there’s no curtain and you are facing the door… you catch my drift. Zero privacy. Not sociable downstairs but nice bar/cafe. This hostel was horrible. We arrived in 37° weather only to find we had no air conditioning in a 10 bed dorm. We were left to have windows opened, with horrifically loud street noise going the whole night. Floorboards were so loud it woke you up if someone walked. Bathrooms had mould in them and my mattress was stained. No privacy curtains. No lifts at all and the worst staircase I’ve seen to bring luggage down. Didn’t sleep at all in my 2 nights. Black mold on beds

was not clean at all. bathroom was full of bugs and the rooms weren’t clean. you also have to take your own sheets and make your own bed when you check in and out which is bizarre. only hostel i’ve stayed in that does that. beds don’t have curtains and there’s no air con even when it’s 30°C and above. the staff were okay and gave okay recommendations, lady at reception was nice. not very social but there’s a kitchen which is a plus however fridge was very dirty and overfilled so not...

The Team its really nice and helpfull

very nice hostel! big bunk beds were very comfy with high walls (at least in the female one) so the room still feels very private. bathrooms are large with plenty of showers. the lobby is so cute but has absolutely no social aspect at all, full of people working on computers. i don’t think i spoke to a single person my three nights there!! but really safe for a solo female. wish they had an elevator though

Ultra bruyant, les portes toute la nuit, bruit dans le couloir, bruit des sanitaires… Aucune intimité, pas même un petit rideau dans les lits. Propreté à revoir du hall d’entrée jusque dans les sanitaires ! Relativement cher pour ce que c’est ! Il y a mieux notamment le YASI hostel près de la gare, ultra cool, propre, moins cher et petit déjeuner complet compris!

The hostel has a nice and welcoming reception and coffeebar that even sells breads. There is a co-working space as well. I stayed in a 10 female dorm. The bunkbeds are imbedded in a wall, so you have a little more privacy. The bathrooms are fine, however the shower cabin had one line of mould at the backwall. Overal a nice hostel, kind people, but the cleanliness of the shower could've been better.

It’s a good hostel but not outstanding. It felt like a money making machine, not a homey hostel at all. All things extra cost money and the common areas are used as a co-working area as well hence there is zero atmosphere because everyone is at their laptops. Feels really anonymous. Security is good (all with a keycard), facilities are good (but only 2 bathrooms men/women for a whole floor with multiple rooms). Rooms are big, you’ve got a locker (bring a padlock) but no curtains on the beds.

All seemed to work. Only thing to complain is that the showers were kinda nasty (moldy? just dirty?). Other than that very nice hostel.

everything was good, there weren't so many travellers there when I was, rather schools and working people, so it felt a bit impersonal, but the rooms we're good and everything was really clean

Très agréable nuit. Le quartier est géniale pour sortir.

Overall really good! the only thing is that they said the kitchen would be available, but 2/4 night that i was there, there was renovation. I couldn’t really access the kitchen, even though I bought my food already. My 10 persons room was super spacious and really private. You can hear everything from outside, but it’s nothing a pair of earplugs can’t fix! I enjoyed the hostel!

Super hôtel vraiment hyper bien localisé

War super angenehm! Lage fand ich perfekt, zu Fuß kommt man sehr gut rum. Küche hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Die Zimmer waren angenehm und recht privat durch die Bettverteilung. Einziges problem war das schlechte wlan.

Ottima scelta per chi vuole passare qualche giorno a Lione a basso prezzo. Consiglio!!

Is a good option, safe and comfortable. You can have a good rest and a good breakfast. Really close to the downtown and the river. The most difficult is the stairs if you have a big suitcase

Nice and clean place close to the downtown. Also have place to work or spend time with friends. There is place with payed lockers if you need. Beds are without curtains, so privacy is not optimal and you can see all people coming in or going out early morning or later at night.

Great location but some rooms are very loud at night because of the bar next door. Very busy hostel nut not very social. Wouldn’t stay here again because of the noise.

Geen hostel sfeer. Kamers kunnen ook echt schoner. Mijn bed stond niet tegen een muur dus lekker chill filmpje kijken gaat niet. Ik mistte ook echt een spiegel in de kamer. Geen privacy & je moet zelf je bed opmaken & er weer afhalen mogen ze wel voor je doen voor de prijs. Keuken was niet schoon en weinig faciliteiten. Fijne locatie. Een gemiddeld hostel niet perse een aanrader.
