PROS- Staff were amazing. Decent outdoor space. Offers payed breakfast. Curtains in rooms. Cons- Atmosphere wasn't very sociable. Kitchen was just a microwave and fridge. No hotplates. Storage lockers mostly broken. No functioning air conditioner, very hot in rooms even with windows open. Overflowing toilets, often dirty toilets doesn't seem well maintained or cleaned. Overall: a pretty average hostel experience, at least the room was clean. Not worth the price though.
I did the booking online and they cancelled even though I paid 10$ and I didn't get the refund for that and I had to pay extra for the bed during in person booking.
Ok..Hostel was atrocious. (1) In Room safety lockers are broken. There are multiple reviews of broken lockers and clearly the Hostel shows no urgency to resolving this (FYI mt cash was stolen from my Bag). Clearly this aint the first time theft occurred in this hostel (2) Location is unsafe, you can hear people yelling and walking in evening is sketchy (3) Place gives bad vibes. Overall will never stay and Hostel should prioritize safety concerns of belongings of its Consumers. Again... be aware
poor hygiene. the staff suddenly entered the room and started cleaning at 3 pm, just as I had returned to rest. Also I witnessed the staff putting used bed sheets and other items on the floor and reusing them for the next guests. They were rubbing the bed sheets and everything on the dirty floor before placing them back on the beds. This was extremely disgusting.
DO NOT GO TO MARSEILLE!!! Honestly the worst city I’ve ever visited. Between the crackheads, gangsters and graffiti I struggled to find any charm. I’m a big bloke, but I felt unsafe leaving the hostel after 8pm. The men’s bathroom on the first floor is growing a mould colony and constantly stunk while I was there. Was only in the city for 24 hours (thankfully) and I hope I never have to go there again. The hostel has an open gate so anyone can walk in, cannot recommend. Ignore all the bot ...
Not sure why this place has such high ratings. Staff were moody and uncooperative, bathroom facilities were not cleaned, many toilets backed up and not addressed for many hours. Rooms consistently have a foul smell from the building.
No kitchen to use wasn’t the best, or utensils to even make a sandwich. Everything else was great. Some of the staff were awesome
staff extremely rude. locker in room was broken, said would fix and wasn’t fixed. unsafe area, open to street 24/7. elevator very slow/broken. no hangers in shower or bench to put clothes on. overall dirty place. lots of homeless/sketchy people in area.
No es un hostel para viajeros, no tiene cocina ni lavanderia, la atencion del personal fue siempre con mala actitud, intentaron cobrarme 2 veces el valor de la reserva. Solo rescato al chico del bar y a la recepcionista de la mañana. Una noche aparecio un hombre, supongo el encargado, y se puso a tratar mal a los empleados y huespedes, generando un mal ambiente en el lugar. Su ubicacion es buena, pero no volveria a alojarme.
It's not a hostel for travelers, it has no kitchen or laundry, the attention of the staff was always with bad attitude, they tried to charge me 2 times the value of the reservation. I only rescued the bar boy and the receptionist in the morning. One night a man appeared, I suppose the manager, and he started treating the employees and guests badly, generating a bad atmosphere in the place. Its location is good, but he would not stay with me again.
One of the worst hostels I've had the misfortune of staying at. Neither 2nd floor men's shower worked properly, all men had to share 1 shower on the base floor making long ques. Hostel World location is inaccurate by about 400m and around a corner. Nearby streets are filthy and reek of p***. Virtually 0 atmosphere in shared areas. Some staff were friendly, others were not. A couple of them straight-up pretended to not speak English to me, then later did.

I stayed here only 1 night in a 6 bed female dorm. The room was nice, getting a bit hot at night tho. You have lockers, you only need to bring a lock. The kitchen does not have many utilities, only a fridge and microwave + cutlery in the main area. The staff were very nice and friendly. Would recommend.

I loved the location! But in my room the AC was not working so it was very very hot inside and I couldnt sleep properly because of it. They dont have a kitchen so take it on consideration with you like to cook your own food
Very clean and safe! Didn't love the walk to get there, but once we got inside we felt very safe and welcome!
Solid hostel. My only negative was I was put in a room with 7 or 8 people who were part of a group traveling together and they were very loud during sleep hours. It may make sense for future group to be split up unless they reserve 100% of a room.
Very new looking hostel with a good location close to the train station & Vieux Port. Lockers in rooms are quite small and the floor looked moldy in my room which was gross but surviveable. Very secure, have to tap keycard multiple times to get to room. Receptionist let me check in early instead of paying for storage which was nice!
Comfy beds!! All in all i had a great stay
Das Hostel sah sehr schön aus und alle waren freundlich. Leider war nicht immer jemand an der Rezeption. Der Gemeinschaftsraum mit Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher, jedoch ohne Spüle, war leider fast immer geschlossen und es gab bei schlechtem Wetter wenig Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Das Essen aus dem Kühlschrank wurde dann einfach in einem Beutel zusammen in einen anderen Kühlschrank gelegt, sodass fast alles ausgelaufen ist. Es wurden wenig soziale Aktivitäten angeboten.
The hostel looked very nice and everyone was friendly. unfortunately there was not always someone at the reception. the common room with microwave, refrigerator and kettle, but without sink, was unfortunately almost always closed and there were few opportunities to escape in bad weather. the food from the refrigerator was then simply put together in a bag in another refrigerator, so almost everything ran out. there were few social activities offered.

Amei! Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos, o hostel tinha áreas comuns agradáveis, preço bem acessível, principalmente para o que oferece, e banheiro limpo. Fiquei em um quarto feminino com 6 leitos, achei o espaço de armazenamento bem bom para quem viaja com mochila, como foi o meu caso! O quarto era um pouco empoeirado, mas nada que chegou a me incomodar. Recomendo 10/10.
Amei! the staff were very friendly, the hostel had nice common areas, price very affordable, mainly for what it offers, and clean bathroom. i stayed in a women's room with 6 beds, found the storage space very good for those traveling with a backpack, as was my case! the room was a little dusty, but nothing that would bother me. recommend 10/10.

This hostel was great. Very clean and comfortable. It felt new and the beds were wonderful. Location was close to everything too!
Friendly staff, not a great place to meet new people as the atmosphere wasn’t really there. Kitchen was bare minimum but helpful. Room was nice and the curtains gave a lot of privacy

L'auberge est idéalement placée avec un bon rapport qualité/prix mais j'ai trouvé que les lieux communs étaient assez petits pour le nombre de personnes dans l'auberge (cuisine et nombre de douches/toilettes). Il est correct en termes de propreté mais pour le même prix, j'ai trouvé d'autres auberges mieux!
The hostel is ideally placed with a good value for money but I found that the common areas were quite small for the number of people in the hostel (kitchen and number of showers/toilets). it is correct in terms of cleanliness but for the same price I found other hostels better!
