It was good but can be better to have proper arrangements for people who wants to have alcohol.

Le rapport qualité prix est un peu cher vis à vis des autres tarifs d’hostel car les services qui sont normalement gratuits dans ailleurs sont payants dans celui-ci . Le personnel était compréhensif quand nous le leur avons fait remarquer

We overall enjoyed our stay, even though it’s a little bit on the pricier side. Really nice design and interior. Good common areas even though they could place some more comfortable seating on the roof top terrace. The dorm was nice, comfortable beds and a good bathroom. There was a cleaning service but it seemed they didn’t change the blankets inbetween guests. The staff was friendly but not much interactive and there were a lot of rules. But we met some very cool people!

Very chill environment, and a social hostel. A little far from Pondicherry proper; however, the area where it has many things to do such as a golden temple. The staff were very nice and have good recommendations for things to do in Pondicherry.

Hands down one of the best hostels I have stayed in! Amazing location right on the beach. Very well maintained. Clean. Met amazing people. Went from being strangers to taking surfing lessons together, partying, and exploring tourist destinations & cafes. The vibe was just too awesome! And yeah, the cozy cafe serves good breakfast :)

I had a great stay at Ostel! A special shout-out to Aastha, who was incredibly helpful throughout my time there. She was welcoming, attentive, and made everything super smooth. Her support really added to the overall experience. Highly recommend Ostel—thanks again, Aastha!

The property is stunning, and the staff was really kind and helpful. Not much of a social atmosphere at all, and the walkway to the beach right next to the hostel was really gross. There are too many rules here and it is quite pricey so I wouldn't stay again. It is far from most places, having a scooty is a must here. As a solo traveller I wouldn't recommend but as a couple or with friends who don't drink I think its great.

Had an amazing stay at Ostel. The second-floor deck overlooking the ocean is unreal—one of the best views in Pondicherry. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Loved the in-house kitchen—great food and drinks at solid prices, so you don’t even need to step out. But the best part? Meeting like-minded travelers from around the world and shared some great conversations. All in all, this place is a gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

L'hostel est magnifique, j'y ai d'ailleurs croisé beaucoup d'architecture qui avait choisi cet hostel pour cette raison. Tout y est top, c'est propre, seul problème c'est un peu loin de tout (comptez 10 minutes pour Auroville et 20 pour Pondichéry)

Being a traveller and having stayed in multiple hostels, all I can say is that it is the BEST hostel in all of Asia. I had the most relaxing and fun time staying here. The staff is super nice. The amenities are no less than a hotel. I can not recommend it enough. Pls pls pls stay here just to experience the view, the vibe and the culture. Love it immensely.
