Cocovana Beach Resort

Plutôt ok dans l'ensemble mais notre chambre privée était trop chère pour ce qu'elle offrait (petite, sombre, matelas à même le sol, pas de clim). Également, pas possible de se baigner dans la mer à cause des méduses et difficile de faire des excursions sans scooter. Nourriture plutôt bonne et personnel aimable.

I stayed here for only 2 nights. It's a good base if you want to explore the other side of Coron on a motorbike. The beds are very shaky, so if there's a big dude in the bunk above you'll be woken up from sleep. Hot showers & filtered water were good to have. Breakfast omlette doesn’t come with toast (pay extra for it)!!! Food is overpriced (plus has 10% service charge), so best to eat outside.

Leuk resort maar ver van de stad. De kamers zijn prima, wc beneden werkte niet dus je moest omhoog lopen voor de wc. Eten is lekker maar wel aan de prijzige kant en er is geen winkel in de buurt dus dit is de enige optie qua eten. Het zwembad is groen en je kan niet in de zee vanwege stenen en kwallen.

Lovely place to relax after/before visiting Coron Town. Food was great and good value. Service was a little slow but understandable as all hostel guests eat around the same time and there isn’t anywhere else nearby. Pool was green so couldn’t swim in it which was disappointing and couldn’t swim in the sea because of jellyfish. Would expect them to maintain the pool more, especially when the sea is non-swimmable in the summer. Litter outside of our room. Communal bathrooms maintained well.

It’s a cute place but could use some finishing touches. The inside of the standard hut is pretty drab looking, and so we preferred the dorm. There are cute animals, but the cats jump up on the bar to steal food while people are eating. Bar area could use some ant traps too. Pool water is murky. Food was decent (stick with beer over the cocktails) and the sunsets are beautiful! They offer tours, and we did wreck diving with Pirate which was awesome. I recommend here if you want a peaceful place...

The pool was closed for the duration of our stay they didn’t tell us this before arrival and offered no money back or apologised. The beach in the photo is not accessible either. Be careful about paying as they over charged us on two occasions for food and again no apology for doing this. The property is very secluded so unless you ride bikes I wouldn’t recommend. If you are looking for something quieter then coron I would recommend as it is relaxing.

The pool was not open which was the one of the main reasons we booked. The shower pressure was very temperamental and the WiFi was shocking. It’s a lovely place if the all of the amenities were available like it says. The staff were lovely and the food amazing. The beds are comfortable and air con in the rooms is needed. A beautiful place to watch the sunset and the puppies are cute. Would definitely stay again and recommend if the pool was open for use as that was the only thing lacking.

Great relaxing spot, staff are great and loved the service. Pool is clean and refreshing. Restaurant food is good, truly is being like at a mini resort. Bathrooms could be improved and would be well worth the investment in new air conditioners. Very loud, cant sleep with it on so causes the room to be very hot quickly overnight. Even fans would be better, but disappointed in this as specifically chose places for having A.C.

The property was a v relaxed vibe and nice as an escape, it’s about and hour and a bit to Coron town. We tried to book a boat tour through the hostel and was told that our pick up was 6am but nobody turned up and when we contacted the company directly it turned out they didn’t offer transfers from the hostel so just be warned if booking through the hostel. Scooters are available at the hostel. The pool is nice and has really good sunset views over the sea. Food was really nice in the restaur...

Good vibes hostel at a great price! There were lots of places to sit and relax and the restaurant had great food. However, I was a bit disappointed with the beach, and I understand this is out of the managements control, but it needs to be made clearer it is not a swimming beach. Aside from the warning of jellyfish (pretty normal in the Philippines) it is very shallow and muddy, making attempts to swim pretty challenging. Other than that, super lovely staff and the free towel was appreciated :)

Geweldig hostel! Echt niet normaal prachtig, heel lekker om tot rust te komen en de omgeving is leuk om met de scooter te verkennen. Het ligt wel wat verder van Coron stad af, maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. Taxi werd geregeld vanuit het hostel; evenals de scooters, het eten etc. 100% aan te raden!!!

This was truly a wonderful experience. The beds are not really comfortable to be honest but the food is amazing, the staff members feel like old friends and they use a turf system for the beers which is very nice. We had a wonderful 4 nights here except for the top bunk beds which are very noisy and unstable but the location is beautiful and it really feels like a resort for a hostel price. Would definitely go again!

Amazing trip, Anna and Sara were super amazing hosts - I would recommend this for everyone.

The overall place is unique and memorable, with good food and enough to keep you entertained for a couple of days rest with good sunshine. The dorm however is less polished than seen in the pictures, my curtain didn’t close properly and the locker drawer left my bag and stuff filthy. The AC unit is also very loud. Great for socialising. Not the best jumping point to explore more of the island or do other things, mainly just for chilling. Very good price for the dorm!

This hostel was absolutely beautiful, just wow, if you are looking for a gateway, or somewhere to stay out the way and hire a bike to get around this is the place,cafe style restaurant on site, amazing pool and views, games room just a amazing vibe and as social as you want the best hostel I’ve stayed in

Best hostel we have ever stayed at. Staff literally cannot do enough for you. We felt like we were welcomed into their family for the few days we were here. Arrived the first day to the most beautiful sunset we have ever witnessed. All rooms clean and have a gorgeous view. Food at the hostel was spot on and cheap. We had literally fell in love with being here. Perfect if you’re looking for a spot you’ll remember for a lifetime! Thank you so much ❤️ Recommend to ANYONE!!!!!

This place is awesome! Fantastic beautiful location right on the water. The staff is so great and very very helpful arranging everything. Great atmosphere is quiet and peaceful and very social at the sametime.

Loved this hostel! The food is amazing, it has a good pool with beautiful sunset each night and nice spots to relax. The staff are great and it has everything you need!

We loved cocovana! It is such a nice getaway and a great place to relax! The food and drinks are good and the people there were great! Highly recommend!

LOVED COCOVANA!!! Such a nice hostel/hotel! Away from coron, but totally worth the drive up! Beautiful views all around, quaint town. Nice bathrooms, towels included and soap, delicious food! Try the mango banana pancakes and the sweetest staff!!! Would go back in a heartbeat!!

Tout était parfait ! Le personnel est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, la nourriture est excellente et abordable. Et même quand il pleut c’est agréable avec la piscine vue mer et sunset !

Cudowny czas spędziłam w tym miejscu! Przedłużyłam swój pobyt tam z tego względu. Przepiękna natura, cudowne zachody słońca i wszystkie udogodnienia i dodatkowo cudowni, pozytywni pracownicy, którzy zawsze pomogą! Polecam z całego serca!♥️

One of the most picturesque hostels I’ve stayed at - the view from the pool or the bar is incredible and the staff were very helpful in organising onward travel, however be warned that we were almost stung with a late arrival to the port by the public bus arriving late (not staff fault). Location is perfect if you’re looking for something quiet, but it is an hours ride to Coron.
