Onederz Koh Rong

The hostel is nice and very clean. My only problem was with the organization of the volleyball tournament. The guy who organized the beach volleyball was impolite and unprofessional. I asked if there was a free spot to play and he said no. One second later, two girls asked the same question and he told them yes. I also paid and I am also a customer. This behavior was unfair and disappointing.

Very expensive compared to other places in Cambodia and you don't get what you paid for. Service was not amazing, especially in the restaurant and bar. Wifi did not reach the room and mobile data was not there either. Wifi was slow everywhere else. We asked about transport to Siam Reap and they sold us an expensive bus that was promised to go straight there, so quicker than others, however we found on the journey that it was not true and this one went through Phnom Penh, stopping on the way.

Bed bugs, hostel didn’t even apologise and refused to give us somewhere else to stay. Food was awful- mayonnaise had mould in it! And the other food was microwaved. Awful experience will not be back

Clean but overpriced. No Wi-Fi or phone signal in rooms. $14/night is too much, and scooter rental was $15 vs $8 elsewhere. No social vibe, most guests were 19-year-old Brits there to drink. Nothing happens at night — all the action is at Koh Touch. Staff didn’t care, just wanted money. Not for solo travelers.

A really lovely hostel in a fantastic location. Unfortunately i got food poisoning when id only eaten at the hostel. I told reception and they clearly did not care, and then went on to accuse me of stealing a towel to claim someone else’s deposit because they hadn’t written my bed number on my receipt (i hadn’t checked in yet when they gave me it). All in all very rude, made me really upset as if i wasn’t feeling bad enough. Avoid the food.

We had a frustrating experience at Onederz Koh Rong. After booking for Feb 22-24, we were told that they had overbooked us, so had to move us to Mad Monkey for the 22nd, with Onederz covering costs for both nights. Literally the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in, in our female only dorm when I slept at 5am there got two guys checked in, because the hostel messed it up, I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and so unsafe and when I mentioned the problem at the reception they just told me that they wouldn’t have any beds left for the two guys in a mixed dorm. There was a reason I booked a female only dorm but they didn’t understand my problem and don’t even have me a refund or something.

this place made me realize, as a backpacker, we are a bunch of sheep following the herd of cool kids. Next stop, not the posh hostel, Im staying and traveling with Cambodians.

One of the worst places I have stayed in my travels. Extremely bad service, no events, no atmosphere at all. Food ordered was all wrong. Better hostels can be found close by.

Very very expensive and not great facilities, prices, or food compared to the other onederz branches. Still great fun, comfy beds, usually clean bathrooms and very social!

Busy hostel. Rooms are very nice, clean with good AC. Bar gets very busy on some nights with long waits for drinks.

Lucy on reception was really amazing, completely made my experience! She deserves a raise for sure! Onederz is a nice facility with a great location. Only bad vibe I got was the managers were money hungry, everything was to just get more money out of you :( shame management are like this because the staff are so great and work so hard.

Such a luxurious hostel for the price! Absolutely spotless everywhere and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. It’s huge so not the one if you’re looking for intimate local vibes. Good happy hour deals in the bar haha and the snorkel boat trip was great!

Really nice hostel to stay at felt really open and relaxed but can feel a bit antisocial but we might of just caught it at a bad time

Location was fantastic and the staff super friendly and happy to help. However, for the price for 3 nights being over £50 I would expect a discount at the bar or breakfast included for that price. Also the locks on the rooms in the block I stayed in made continuous beeps that you could hear throughout the night as people were coming and going, I know other blocks still had keys so unsure why ours had the beeping mechanism but definitely affected everyone in my rooms sleep.

Franchement établissement au top, personnel présent (ils m’ont même retrouvé mon porte monnaie avec tout dedans), espaces de vies très propres, de même pour les dortoirs, plage à proximité et nombreux restaurants. Un des meilleurs hostels que j’ai fais.

Onederz truly sets the standard for hostels! My private room was spotless and super comfortable. The A/C worked great, I had plenty of towels, and the staff pushed the twin beds I reserved (last available) together to make a king bed for me. Sima at reception was amazing at helping me book tours and transport. I had to switch to a new hostel due to availability and missed Onederz dearly. Note: one of my chicken dishes was partly uncooked, but the staff was understanding and offered me a refund.

Me and 3 other girls had our shoes stolen during our stay. It’s still unclear if it was another guest (seems unlikely because who wants 4 pairs of flip flops/sandals) or the staff. Either way, the staff weren’t the most helpful. I was also accused of making my sheets dirty with UV paint after not even attending a UV party.

Great stay in Onederz Koh Rong, one of the nicest dorm rooms & hostels we have stayed. Bathrooms and showers were always clean and warm. Food from the restaurant was delicious and all of the staff were lovely. Great entertainment at night time and perfect location would definitely recommend staying here!!

One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in. Staff are helpful and are constantly cleaning. the bathrooms and hallways smell like a spa. Dorms are well air conditioned and very nice. It’s on a very touristy side of Koh Rong but not hard to walk to parties etc!

It’s a perfect hot spot for a beach town vibe. Fun events , cheap affordable rooms, and a view to die for . I would recommend this option for any solo or group travelers. Check in was easy.

Amazing hostel!!!! The location is stunning right on the beach with sun loungers and chairs on the sand. More like a resort than a hostel! Beds were comfy, AC and wifi great, and it was clean the staff are constantly cleaning the floors and bathrooms to keep on top of the sand. Only slight issue is it can be quite noisy until midnight due to the bar if you want an early night but wasn’t too much of an issue if you wear earplugs.

Nice enough resort super close to the beach. Good hot showers and clean rooms. The bar crawl was fun but the only social areas are combined with the restaurant so you can only really chill there or on your bed.

Fantastic hostel. Dorms are clean and really well laid-out with everything you'd need. Bathrooms are also the cleanest I've seen in a hostel. Location is perfect and the staff are amazing, going above and beyond to help out. Would definitely stay here again.

great hostel with great breakfast, other than that the food was alright but not outstanding. the rooms were constantly cleaned which was great and the beach area is amazing, so many seating options! however i didn’t find it to be sociable but it is on the same beach as other hostels so you can go there to be social and then enjoy sleeping in a nicer quieter hostel!
