It could be an awesome place,they have a nice garden and the staff is super friendly. But they share the common area with a restaurant. And even they tell you, you sit there in the evening the staff of the restaurant tells you to leave. So no real common area and no curtains at the bunkbeds

Great place to stay! Breakfast was nice and people were fun and friendly. Very clean and comfy. In my specific scenario, my outlet above my bunk in the shelf did not function. I needed the outlet for work. There were no other outlets in the room in the wall. The employees also mentioned they knew about that, so not being warned upon checkin or even being emailed about it was very disappointing. Great place to stay overall! Just be aware that your outlet/lamp may not work.

It’s alright. The beds are a bit too hard. I like the ducks tho! Due to the reviews I thought the staff were going to be amazing, but I didn’t experience that.

No hot water and it was in the middle of November checked into a private room Airbnb at the same. Location a bit tricky but neighbors pointed me in the right direction! Good location some social interaction

Staff were great and chatyy and approachable. The tour was good organised by the hotel. Dinner was a kittle pricey for what you would expect though. Kinda strange not many people participate who stay at the hostel

Very nice hostel, feels more like a hostel. Difficult to meet people when solo traveling, there weren't any dinners as advertised, there is restaurant next door which also uses the garden that you can get dinner from.The breakfast was amazing. The garden was nice for relaxing and the beds were very comfortable.tcomfortable.The staff were nice. They run tour groups so could meet people that way but I found the other hostel I stayed more social. Great if you're not looking to meet people

Really nice hostel. Good atmosphere with amazing free breakfast and nice, small tours. The private was nice and the bed amazing, but could be a little cheaper and slightly odd setup. Staff were great and absolutely no concerns with security. There's a restaurant next door that is outstanding as well. With a slightly cheaper price and slightly improved facility items, this could be a 10/10.

I was expecting to have a private bathroom, as I booked a 6 bed dorm room. I was placed in the 4 bed dorm instead, which does not have a bathroom. We also had a double sliding door to our room with no lock, which was located behind reception and at times very loud. Breakfast was AMAZING, different every day and so delicious. The kitchen was well stocked, and the location was a short distance from the city Square. Not many places to sit and work quietly, but the wifi was good.

I wish I had the option to put SIX stars! I had a wonderful stay at Out of the blue! The staff is very welcoming and respectful and they make everything possible so guests feel at home. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and morning breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Ponta Delgada and San Miguel island!

What a great place, LOVED the breakfast and the general vibe of the place. Garden was lovely to sit out in, bedroom comfy too. Would 100% recommend

First time at the Azores. It's close to the airport which is nice. There's a parking lot near the hostel that you can pay and one a bit further away that you can park for free. Close to the grocery store. Full kitchen for cooking. Super friendly and welcoming staff. It was just so fun to hang out with them on their off hours. It was just so genuine. Super social breakfast which is included. Very clean bathrooms which includes shower gel and conditioner. Would definitely come back here again

We stayed for one night but it was a great experience! Cleanest hostel I’ve been to, staff were nice and the breakfast was amazing! We arrived at 8am after an overnight flight and they let us check in early which was the best! I would stay again.

Amazing hostel ! I stayed there 6 nights and everything was just perfect. It’s very clean, staff member are friendly. General atmosphere is chill. The city center/historic center is close by, with everything you need. The building itself is full of art elements that’s give particular style. Breakfast is served individually (so you eggs are hot and your yogurt is fresh) however you have breaks, coffee, Thea etc in self service. You can book eyes closed !

Security was fine, but at least my room didn’t have a lock on it. No free parking, but street parking is only €0.60/ hour and free from Saturday at 1pm until Monday at 7am. Staff was helpful and communicative. Breakfast sounded good but I didn’t get to take advantage of it. Beautiful garden out back to relax in.

I’m in my late 30s traveling with my mid20s friend. A private room was perfect for us. We got our privacy in a very spacious, well kept room and spacious private bathroom while still having access to many of the shared individual bathrooms. We enjoyed the social aspect of meeting other travelers. The garden was such a beautiful place to wind down. Breakfast was always delicious. Shout out to Tom for taking care of us and housekeeping for keeping the environment clean. Great bar attached too.

Everyone was great. Rita our guide was fantastic and Tom reception was also great. Truly enjoyed staying here.

Genuinely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Super clean, insanely nice and accommodating staff and very social, which makes it easy to meet people. Had the best time with the best people!

I had a wonderful time at this hostel! The staff are incredibly kind and really help create a social atmosphere. They organize daily family dinners and tours, which makes it easy to meet other travelers and the free breakfast is extremely delicious The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy because the building has old wooden floors. Still, I would definitely come back again!

Beautiful place, and the included breakfast is so nice! The staff is really really kind as well :) Easy place to meet people, great location, and the tours are v inexpensive and extensive in comparison to what else is out there

One of the Best hostels i have every stayed in, i was the only girl in a mixed dorm room but everyone was respectful, the rooms and bathrooms are super clean and bedsheets also, the staff was vey helpful specially Marco, the hostel has plenty of space to relax and chill, i recommend 100% to everyone

My friend recommend me this place and it was the best choice I made. The hostel od amazing, it has lovely garden, living room and enough toilets and showers. Also they organizes the tours around the island where they really show you the beauty of the Island and its history. The best thing about hostel is the staff or as i like to call them my PAG(Ponta delgada)gang. They really take care of their guests and try to make the most of your stay. The surrounding area was so pretty and the staff were nice and helpful!! Yummy breakfast and cute outside area :)

really loved the place, the receptioniste gave really helpfull info , only thing was that our room was behind the reception which made that there was like a lot of noise in the mornings
