Antique Hostel

I had a great stay in the hostel. It was very close to all sightseeings. Staff was helpful and friendly. And the room was comfortable and clean. It also had character which I liked. The airport shuttle was only 15 EUR which was much lower than advertised and handy for an early flight out.

Amazing service by the cook and reception, great, healthy breakfast with cheese, egg, cucumbers, and olives. Also had less healthy cake and bread. Quiet rooms. The terrace was amazing to do productibe work on the laptop the whole day. Great wifi. I also asked for extra food and got it.

Una amiga y yo nos quedamos cuatro noches en el hostal y la verdad no la pasamos muy bien; está cerca de muchos lugares turísticos (hay que tener en cuenta que para comer más barato hay que caminar un poco más lejos). La recepción nos recibió después de la medianoche, lo cual agradecemos mucho. No hubo agua caliente la primer noche que estuvimos ahí y encontré insectos en la habitación. Pero nada que arruine la experiencia y siga siendo un 8 de 10. Gracias!

Great location. Female staff lovely. Male staff not that friendly (no response to my hellos). Staff entering bedrooms without knocking. Could be cleaner. Breakfast not buffet as pictured. Offering too small to be classed as breakfast. 24-hour reception is someone sleeping behind it - anyone can walk in & access bedrooms. Had misunderstanding with owner. He was shouting, aggressive. Very unpleasant. Left me shaking physically. Unprofessional & he let his people down. Would not stay again.

Me encanto el hostel, la terraza con vista al Bosforo mientras estamos en el desayuno. Recomiendo totalmente. Gracias a todo el staff, muy profesional!

Great hostel

Staff & location were excellent. No buffet breakfast as in photos : but a plate prepared for each person & basically the same each day. Also, no privacy curtains around dorm beds as shown in photos.

A convenient location close to the blue mosque, however that is all it had going for it. The hostel itself was not clean. The towels you hire were dirty, stained, covered with holes and extremely old. The bedding, the same. There was no security for the room I was staying in as the room didn’t lock and there wasn’t a key. I had a mixed stay. Check-in was smooth, and I was welcomed kindly, but the owner was rude and unprofessional. When I asked to extend my stay, he insisted on cash only, despite having paid by card before. The facilities were lacking—none of the power plugs worked, and I was initially given the wrong room. Muy bien. Me hubiera gustado poder usar la cocina pero no estaba contemplado. La terraza acristalada es estupenda para las relaciones.

Had a wonderful time here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the common room was a lovely place to hang out and the room was perfect. Great location. Cannot recommend it enough!

Great location near to sights in Old Town. Excellent views from rooftop terrace. The breakfast was decent enough, very filling. No access to kitchen for guests but we did leave a couple of bits in the fridge. Staff are very friendly and the place was pretty clean and tidy. Would stay again if staying in the old town but would also consider staying in a different part of the city next time
