Ubicación excelente, literas cómodas.... personal, al menos quien a mi me hizo check in, con muy poca disposición de ayudar.... no me dio ni siquiera toalla ni la contraseña del WIFI, tuve que indagarla yo mismo con otros huéspedes y al realizar check in le solicite una litera en la parte inferior a lo cual se negó argumentando qué no tenía disponibilidad y al llegar a la habitación, oh sorpresa, habitación semi vacía y camas inferiores desocupadas.... el hostel en general cumplió m...

The breakfast was delicious. The drinks were a little pricey but manageable. Room was nice and clean and A/C was always on. The pool however could be cleaned better. There is residue on the side walls of the pool. The environment as a whole was great and it’s a very popular hostel so you can meet a lot of people there and it’s close to all the fun places to go. Lastly, the staff was incredible and very helpful. Big shout out to Aaron! And Miguel! With honorable mentions Luli, and Stephania.

Rooms are great, comfy and clean. Really loud music every day till midnight (even if the whole place is empty), so be aware that you will not sleep before that time. The advertised kitchen is a joke, they are missing almost all the basic kitchen utilities to cook. Should not be named kitchen. Overall incredible expensive for what you get, and you're only paying for the location.

El recibimiento genial por el personal, la estancia muy parca y la salida igual, perdí mi equipaje 🧳 y la verdad que el apoyo fue nulo, ni un mínimo de cortesía se que no fue su culpa pero al menos el " podemos ayudarle en algo" no salió. Dure 4 días y nunca fueron a cambiar sábanas o toalla, no sé si fue por qué me hospede en habitación compartida pero la limpieza quedaron a deber. Ubicación excelente, las instalaciones comunes muy buenas, terraza, coworking, biblioteca, área ...

Es un lugar muy bien ubicado, con acceso a la playa muy cerca, con las paradas del bus literalmente enfrente. Alondra, Luli, y Melisa en recepción son muy amables. Los del barra me atendieron bien, especialmente Miguel y Andy. La comida esta rico y especialmente para el precio. Deben que comprar el desayuno, si vale la pena. La habitación fue muy acomodo, limpio, y el aire estaba bien rico. Te recomiendo hospedarte en este hostal, tiene vibras muy buenas. 10/10.

In terms of security I would NOT recommend this place. I had a free room to myself and when I was not there my wallet was stolen from me.

Excelente experiencia en Mayan Monkey Cancún. Ubicación ideal en zona hotelera, cerca de la playa. Ambiente social perfecto para conocer gente, con actividades diarias. Instalaciones modernas, limpias y cómodas, con buenas áreas comunes. El staff es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La atención de Alondra y Balam en la recepción fue genial. Had a lovely staff, super clean, gorgeous social space and opposite a shop, good food spots and the beach all within 5 minutes. Would stay again.

La atención de los chicos de recepción fue muy buena y grata, Luli,Melisa, Balam, Alondra, siempre atentos para proporcionar información acerca de sus servicios que ofrecen, las instalaciones limpias y un ambiente agradable de convivencia con otros viajeros, se encuentra en la zona hotelera de Cancún a unos pocos pasos de la playa.

Das Hostel befindet sich in einer sehr guten Lage und man kann fußläufig in 5 Minuten den Strand und die Clubs erreichen. Direkt gegenüber befinden sich zudem gute und preiswerte Restaurants. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr sauber und geräumig. Am besten hat uns der Allgemeinbereich mit dem Pool (inkl. Blick auf die Lagune) und der Bar gefallen. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hostel.

The best hostel in Cancun hotel zone! We got the private suite and it was so spacious and air conditioned. I am definitely coming here again!

Muy buena experiencia en el hostel. posee un bar, con piscina y vista a la laguna. las habitaciones siempre limpias y los baños tambien. Posee tambien sector cocina. La atencion del personal fue excelente: para destacar a Balan, Melisa, Ludmila y sobre todo Alondra que nos ayudo con todo y nos dio información de la zona. Muy recomendable, volveremos. Lo único para mejorar pienso que seria mejor que el bar cierre mas tarde y no a las 23.30hs.

Bathrooms had no toilet paper or soap. Everything was very dirty and old. Showers smelled foul It was 10pm and they had maintenance repairing lights and being super loud. They knew I was there and made comments. Awkward… Beds were super comfortable and plugs by the bed were convenient. Atmosphere looked fun. Definitely a party hostel. Staff was friendly and informative. Balam was great 👍

Super ambiance, personnel gentils et aidants et Dave qui s’occupe des activités et tours a facilité le tout dans un tour de Cancun à Chichen Itza où j’ai pu débarquer à Valladolid avec mes bagages pour continuer mon voyage. En face de la lagune et de l’autre côté de la plage. Très bien situé pour visiter les autres plages . Les déjeuners sont vraiment bons! J’ y retournerais!

Fue una excelente estancia, todo el staff muy atento y amable, en especial Alondra que nos apoyo con mucha información sobre las instalaciones, nos dió consejos sobre el hostal y recomendaciones para salir y comer, le agradecemos mucho todo el apoyo y deseamos reconozcan lo grandiosa que es en su trabajo, sin duda regresaremos por la atención recibida! It was an excellent stay, all the staff were very attentive and friendly, especially Alondra!

It was an okay stay. The front desk staff was nice and the host I believe , Dave was also nice and helpful . Wasn’t as social as I hoped but most likely due to coming at the end of the season. Some folks were in their own group . Wouldn’t recommend booking the hostel events as it seems expensive for the overall experience . Still worth checking it out on your own if you can find a group and rent a car . Overall an OK experience for me personally

Gutes Hostel zum ankommen für eine Nacht. Aber ganz ehrlich Cancun ist und bleibt einfach kein besonders angenehmer Ort. Nicht viel zu tun. Schaut zu das ihr von dort schnell weitergeht.
